Hotel dei Dragomanni - Venice
San Marco 2711 - Venice
877-662-6988In this splendid scenario, stands the property, a 17th century building that has maintained a unique atmosphere, remaining intact over the centuries in which tradition and modernity live perfectly side by side. The hotel features one of the last examples of the alla leonardesca double staircase. On-site amenities include a bar where guest can sample excellent appetizers, an elegant lounge and an ADSL-Wi-Fi Internet Point.
The property's central position will allow you to breath the magic atmosphere of this fabulous city suspended between east and west and tour the charming nearby islands of Murano, Burano and Torcello.
Hotel policy s not good. They charged us EUR 10 for my 3 years old kid for accompany me to the breakfast without eat anything. Anyway, staffs are nice.

Every year I visit Venice for some days. Because my hotel had no more free rooms, I had to find another Hotel: Dragomanni. It was great! The room was very cosy, quiet and the hotel very well located. The breakfast was great, everything was fresh and tasty! I am looking forward to visiting Venice next year and of course staying in Dragomanni.

The junior-suite (room nr. 25) ist really nice and very comfortable. You have a view to the canale grande, but the hotel is not located directly at the canal. The room is basically quiet, but you hear the aircondition work. The employees are really friendly and very helpful. We enjoyed our stay.

This hotel is very well located, which perhaps explains the rather high price. It's a little difficult to find, too, if you're arriving on foot rather than by water taxi. The hotel staff are very friendly and helpful, the breakfasts are good, and my room was clean and pleasant. The wireless is 15 EUR for 6 hours at the time of writing.

Staff always attentive, room very comfortable, price went down by a third just before we were to go, but unfortunately we were unable to change our arrangements. It is a lovely place to stay, close to everything, will use again but will be more careful watching prices, it is a bit expensive, but wonderfully quiet and the staff are truely excellent.

The Hotel is set in a wonderful location but would recomend arrivals via the water bus to depart the waterbus at the Academia Bridge the hotel is a 5 min stroll through two squares from this location. The staff were wonderful and informative, we just wish we had stayed for a longer period of time. The hotel was pristine. I could not recommned it more and only 5 mins stroll to St Marcs Square.

Great location near St Mark's square and Grand Canal but down a quiet side street so nice peaceful setting. Excellent breakfest, fruit cereal, yoghurt, breads, cheese and meats. Staff very knowledgeable and helpful with all the questions we had. Would definetly stay there again.

This is a sexy little boutique hotel. I highly recommend splurging on the water taxis to and from either the train station or the airport. A ride on the water bus and dragging your luggage through the streets will make you hate Venice.

We arrived late but the welcome was excellent. They advised us where to eat - great recommendation (though a little pricey). Room and bed very comfortable but few rooms have a grande canal view (thought a delux room might have had a view but not so). Facilities very good. Breakfast perfectly adequate with good choice and cooked breakfasts for additional cost. Location was quiet but within easy walking distance of Rialto, San Marco and Accademia. Staff very helpful at all times. Would stay there again.

The staff in the hotel were very helpful and the rooms were very nice. the location of the hotel is great and the price was fair. We did feel however that there was a bad smell in the public areas and the breakfast was quite poor.

Luckily we found our hotel with the help of a review on your site. Follow the directions. We arrived tired and were greeted by a wonderful staff. We loved our room but my wife really wanted to overlook the Grand Canal. So the staff was able to move us for the third and forth day for an additional charge of 70 E/ day. Both rooms were immaculate, staff very helpful and breakfast delicious.

We spent a wonderful weekend in Venice, this hotel is very well located, confortable and decorated with taste. To add to that, the staff is very welcoming and gave us perfect restaurant tips and interesting insight about the life in Venice. We will definitely stay there again!

Smart and clean hotel with excellent staff. The room looked great but it was small and too warm, even in the night- in November! The heating wasn't on but the aircon didn't seem to work. Not easy to find the hotel but it is well situated for all the sites.

Although this was the most expensive place we stayed while on our trip to Europe, it was totally worth it. The staff was very friendly, the rooms very clean and well decorated, and the could not be beat. Be aware of using staff's recommendations for ristorante and enoteca - they were not good. The rooms are just as good as the pictures that highlight them on the website. The location is excellent - off the beaten path of the hoards of tourists, but quite central and accessible. Warning - do not use the Ponte dell' academia exit from the vappareto if you have luggage - use S.M. del Giglio! Otherwise you will be carrying luggage over the bridge! Simply put - stay at this hotel when in Venice and you will not be disappointed.

This hotel has recently been renovated in a very tasteful manner. The quality of the renovation, combined with the convenient location and freindly and helpful staff all make this an execellent choice whether this is the first visit to Venice or a repeat. We will return

This is a great hotel! It is very well located, near all the major attractins and near a vaporetto stop. It would be helpful if the hotel provided more detailed directions on how to walk there from the Giglio stop. The room was very nice, although small and it was very quiet. It had the best bed and pillows we have experienced in Europe. The man at the desk was very very helpful. He advised us on itineraries that turned out to be perfect--he was very knowledgeable and clearly loves Venice. The breakfast buffet was very good and in elegant surroundings. I would recommend this hotel to anyone.

The hotel was very clean and new. Exactly like the pictures. My wife and I enjoyed our stay very much. The breakfast was very nice and the lady who served us was the friendliest person we met in Venice. We had a little trouble finding the hotel the first time since it was so new and no one seemed to know the location. Here are some directions that may help. Once you get off the water bus #1 at the Maria del Giglio stop, you will walk through a very small alley. You should see a Best Western Hotel to your left. Take the first street after the Best Western Hotel, then follow the bridge on the right side into Campo San Maurizio. Once in the square look for Calle del Pose de Ponte. Once you know the location of the hotel, it is easy. Also I recommend using the public water buses instead of the water taxi. It's a very convenient and inexpensive way to get around.
