It's only a One Star Hotel, but we enjoyed a very nice stay. Rooms are quite small, but we didn't care. It was clean, quiet and confortable. As Venice is really expensive, staying there is really worth of this price. Tiz&Ale, Florence

I booked the single room with have shower inside but share toilet. The room is fine and clean. And they have free wifi access that what I like. A little drawback is the wall is not keep the voice. If you have a noisy tourist leave next door, you can hear them. The hotel location is near Pizzale roma so it's quite easy to reach anywhere. But it's not easy to find if you are first time there. FYI, if you are at pazzale roma and grand canal is at the back. On the left hand you will see the garden and a big hotel there. Across the bridge in front of hotel and turn right and follow the way. You will pass one or two bride (cannot remember exactly) and you will find the hotel on the left. The hotel sigh is quite small. Near the hotel, I think you may meet a gondala seilor sit nearby. Tourist alway tak a photo with him.

I stayed 2 days in July in single room with shower and lavabo in the room, simple, very cleaned, fan an mosquitos electric pills available. Expected worst. Found lower price (50 eur) for a private room compared with huges rates in Venice in that season. Toilet was shared, but in my case was in the same floor and didn´t have issues. Room was in thrird floor, no lift available. Breakfast too poor, and was not very tasty. Neighborhood quiet (Santa Croce), close to train and bus station (10 min. walking). There´s 3 restaurants with terraces close to the hostel.

For a bed and breakfast, this is quite a pricey place. However, considering the location, just 5 minutes from the train and bus stations, I would say the rate is justified. The room is spacious and clean, and the service is excellent.

The location is very good- near station- 5-7 min.We spent there one night. On the upper floor, no elevator, but it is normal for venezian small B&B,so it can be a problem for people who can't carry heavy baggage. For 1-3 night I think it is perfect. The room is small, but has all you need- a wardrobe, table, mirror, bedside table, sink and little shower cabin in the room-which is very comfortable to have. The WC was in the corridor but 2 steps from the room-very clean. Breakfast was very modest- cheese, croissant, jam, tea-coffee. I had better breakfast for lower price but in other cities. venezia is expensive itself, so I wasn't dissapointed much :). We spent all day walking, so we didn't need more from this hotel. The owner is a nice person, explained us everything on the map, kept our baggage after check- out time.

The hotel was nice and what we wanted for the price we paid. It was a little hard to find; however, that may have just been our lack of directional abilities! The room was small but that's what we expected for the good price. It was clean and felt safe. Staff was nice and the breakfast was good. We booked the room with shared bathroom but with a shower and sink in the room, and that worked out well, we only shared with a couple other rooms and never ran into each other at all.

This is such value for money. Location is in the quiet part of town but close to canals and restaurants. The owners keep a tight ship and don't let anyone in that doesn't stay there so you feel safe and secure. The rooms were perfectly clean and for a 1 star it exceeds all expectations. The parot in reception is great for the kids too.

Very nice room on a mostly quiet, charming little street in Venice. Staff was friendly, nice breakfast. It looks like some people have had difficulty finding it, but if you print out the map that they have on their site, it's really difficult to miss it...we walked straight there from the train station, no wrong turns.

The hotel is in a lovely part of venice out of the way of the main tourist crush but close enough to everything we wanted to see, about a 20 minute walk from St Mark's Square. The staff were very friendly, the included breakfast was more than enough. The room was lovely, extremely comfortable bed!! If you stay here you have to visit San Pantalon church which is just around the corner and has a stunning painted ceiling.

Small and cosy hotel, and the location was great, in a nice quiet area, 10min walking distance with loads of luggage from the rail station, and a few minutes to P. Roma. The staff was friendly and nice, and our 2year old daughter liked the parrot in the reception:-)

A simple room with sink and shower; the shared toilet was close by. We stayed only one day, arriving by train and leaving by ship. We picked Casa Peron because on the map it was only one bridge from the train station - important when hauling heavy luggage. But we missed a turn and had to go over 3 extra bridges. Once on track, Casa Peron was easy to find with a lighted sign over the 'street'. It was an even shorter walk to Piazzala Roma. There were 3 small bridges to cross, which would have been easy except for the near-freezing rain.

I had a private little balcony facing the inside court. Since my room was on the top floor it was very pleasant to relax there in the morning and evening. The bathroom is shared but it wasn't much bother, since there was a private shower in the room.

In general everything was okay as stated on the pages at venere.com. The only thing which we considered as not as well as it could have been was: breakfast. If a 17 year old boy asks for another bread roll we think this should be quite normal at this price level. This simple wish could not be accomplished.

Aside from the fact that I had trouble finding my way from the bus terminal to the hotel, this was a pleasant experience. I like to walk, and there were many interesting sites in the neighborhood of the hotel and between the hotel and St. Mark's square. The room on the third level was small, but it was quite adequate, and it didn't break the bank.

We highly recommend this hotel : excellent location (calm and near vaporetto stations), owners very friendly, good breakfast. Just a little problem with the shower (variable temperature).

Casa Peron has paid attention to the details that make a hotel room usable & nice: there were plenty of hooks and towel bars, drawers, closet space and shelves. There were accessible electrical outlets, and the shower was a nice size. The windows were new and of excellent quality. The bed was comfortable as well, not old or sagging, and not too hard. So although the room was not overly attractive, the details were thought through and the room was very functional. The owner was also very nice and helpful.

Two big thumbs up for Casa Peron. Location is excellent (just behind Scuola San Rocco), rooms were spotless, good light, nice view looking down the side street. We booked a room with a shared bath, but to as an added bonus, the shower was in the room. And big props to Casa Peron for providing a dummy proof map of directions on how to get there. Would absolutely stay here again on return visit.
