We almost missed the entrance because the hotel sign was located very high on the building instead of by the door. We only stayed for one night, but all went very well. Our room was ready when we arrived and breakfast was very good the next morning.

The room was very comfortable, and the breakfast was much better than most that we had in Italy with a large selection. Because the weather was fairly hot we could not shut the windows. Being just off the San Marcuola vaporetto stop meant there was some noise until they stopped running. However, the nearness also meant convenience (we got a three-day ticket, and it was more than worthwhile). We would chose Ca' San Marcuola if we again visited Venice

This hotel is in a fabulous location in Venice. Only a few steps from a vaporetto stop on the Grand Canal, and just a 5 minute walk from St Lucia railway station. The hotel itself is very comfortable and quiet at night. If we were returning to Venice we'd happily stay here again.

Room was quiet and adequate size. Shower size was smaller than a phone booth, breakfast was skimpy, but front desk was informative.

Very clean and friendly! Location being just off vaporetto stop was so convenient! I suggest getting the unlimited 48 hour pass (or however long you are staying) it is so easy and convenient. Loved hotel and will return if ever in Venice again!

The hotel is conveniently located close to the train station. You can either take waterbus #1 two stops, or you can also walk to the hotel (15 - 20 minutes). The Hotel is 50 yards from the waterbus stop and right on the Grand Canal. We stayed in a room on the first floor, and our windows actually opened up to a side canal. The room was spacious and clean. Our room (101) had two beds, a single bed and a double bed. The TV in the room was small and didn't receive any English channels. The bathroom was clean and average sized for Italy. The breakfast was very good and there were many choices. The waitress made a plate of meats and cheese for each table and there was yogurt, croissants and cereal to chose from. Overall, the hotel is a good value for Venice. I recommend buying a 24 hour pass to the waterbus and using the #1 line to go up and down the Grand Canal.

Es un hotel que está muy bien ubicado y comunicado (justo al lado hay una parada de vaporetto) y en una zona muy tranquila pero cerca de una zona de más movimiento. El desayuno que ofrece el hotel es muy completo!!

This was our first time to Venice and the location of the hotel (literally 50 yards from the San Marcuola Vaporetto stop on the waterbus line 1 as recommended by other venere reviewers) was simply easy and perfect to find. Whilst located away from the main tourist areas of the Rialto Bridge and San Marco Square, the location gave us the ideal opportunity to easily walk to them (15-20mins) and take in the markets, shops and views of Venice along the way. The hotel itself was well managed. The front desk was helpful and kindly provided a great map of venice for getting around. The breakfast of croissants, fruit, yoghurt, coffees and juice was more than enough each morning to prepare us for the day. Our double ensuite room with modern bathroom facilities was a good size, and clean and tidy. I would definitely recommended this hotel to my family and friends.

Our rooms were very clean and recently refurbished. The walls seemed a bit thin as we could hear our neighbours fairly clearly but that doesnt detract from a very good value for money stay. Unlike an earlier reviewer, we had no problems with the showers - very hot whenever we took them even though the hotel seemed to be quite full. Highly recommended.

We could not believe what a great location this hotel is in! It was just steps from the San Marcuola vaporetto stop and a short walk (over only 1 bridge with a wheelchair ramp) to the stop for the vaporetto to the airport. Also, while the immediate vicinity of the hotel is very quiet, it is a short walk to many restaurants and shops, including a supermarket. We walked from the hotel to San Marco and the Rialto without difficulty. Our top floor room overlooked a small canal, which was charming except for the one morning when workmen down below got started very early. If the windows had been closed, the noise probably would not have been noticeable. We heard absolutely no noise from the other rooms on our floor. The bed was very comfortable. While the lighting in the bedroom was a little dim and could be improved, there was a very nice skylight in the bathroom which brought in a lot of natural light. The included breakfast was okay, but nothing special, and the coffee was weak, but we found an Illy caffe nearby with terrific croissants and espresso. The desk staff could be a little warmer. Overall, this was a very good value for Venice -- large, clean room, modern bathroom, quiet surroundings, and great location.

Breakfast was substantial (if wanted) and of excellent quality. My request for a long bed, due to my height, was met admirably. Directions could be improved by saying that the hotel is within 100 metres of the San Marcuola vaporetto stop.

Quality level of the room was very good but a little bit noisy. Location of the hotel which otherwise is in an excellent quality state after the renovation is (at foot)quite far far the centre of the city (Rialto Bridge & San Marco). Problem for the tourists that the boat ticket is extremely expensive. But the beauty of Venice gives a full compensation !

Very convenient to Vapporetto stop with no bridges to cross with luggage. While far enough away from busy pedestrian thoroughfare to avoid that street noise, folks going to and fro Vapporetto stop can be noisy, especially on weekend nights, so best to ask for a room on side away from hotel entrance/Vapporetto passenger noise. Very convenient to neighborhood stores/restaurants, and an easy walk to the San Marco area. Hotel/room/breakfast area was clean, comfortable, expected size for Europe, and staff were helpful/friendly. I'd use the hotel again.

The hotel has an excellent location very near the San Marcuola Vaporetto site. Hotel staff were very nice. Our one complaint (which we noted to the manager) regarded the lack of hot water for showers. If you waited late enough at night the shower would probably be hot, otherwise it was only lukewarm at best and changed temperature randomly during a shower.

The hotel is very convenient to the water bus and isn't far from the train station. It is also near one of the main streets so it is easy access to shops, etc. It is, however, far from St. Mark's Square. I would advise taking the water bus to the Rialto and cutting through the streets. It is more enjoyable than the long, crowded bus ride all the way to St. Mark's. Our stay was very comfortable and the only place on our trip to Italy that offered a computer with Internet. One of the staff speaks great English but the same cannot be said for all of them. All in all it was a great stay. We would definitely stay here again.

This hotel is situated in a fantastis spot... Our first time in Venice so after following the directions as indicated it was fantastic to find that as soon as we stepped off the water bus we were right there... no bridges to cross which was a bonus when travelling with a decent size bag. we were able to walk to most places if we wished to.
