Terrific Hotel - location, ambience, rooms, service. A real treat and good value for Venice. Don't understand all the comments on Breakfast - it was great for us and four teenage kids. Roof terrace wonderful. Suites that sleep four for kids worked very well

Location convenient, only 10 minutes walk to San Marco square. Rooms a bit small and awkward, we had the attic room: not recommended for tall people, bathroom very small. In general an o.k. stay but not good value for the money.

A very good hotel, very well located, big room, very nice decoration, nice honeymoon ! Très bon hôtel, chambre spacieuse et romantique, un hôtel de charme de haut standing, idéal pour un voyage de noces ! un bémol : ascenseur peu disponible et documentation dans la chambre pas mises à jour

This hotel is in a fabulous location, quiet but just around the corner from St Mark's Square is very clean and spacious. A visit to the Opera and a Vivaldi Concert to be recommended. If you have a celebration go to Cipriani's for dinner, this is a superb restaurant which has its own private boat which picks up along the front near St Mark's square and runs back and forth all through the night. NB - take a water taxi from airport to St Marks Square, it will take your breath away.

Beautiful place. nice big room. I had a very nice canal view. Breakfast was poor and limited and I saw very few people actualy eat breakfast there. (eggs cost extra, bad coffee) Better to take 5 euros and go down the street for a good breakfast sandwich and cappachino. Internet is only available in the lobby and you have to pay to use it.

The bedrooms are lovely each one designed individually just like their photos. The breakfast and service provided could be better particularly for the price that we paid. However I would stay there again as the location was perfect once you manage to find the place!

I would have expected more international TV,Internet was not working, extra pay for Ham or/and eggs. But overall, we had a wonderful stay, perfect room, very professional service and we loved the place (restaurants just around the corner, San Marco 5 minutes walk, quiet at night, secure district). We will definetly choose the hotel for our next stay.

Ein ausgesprochen stilvolles Haus, sehr ruhig gelegen - aber doch zentral mit freundlichen Mitarbeitern. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und würden jederzeit wieder in diesem Haus logieren.

The hotel was lovely. It was exactly as described, Room 501 and 502 were particularly nice. The rooms were very well furnished, staff very polite and helpful. The location is perfect for all of the landmarks of Venice. The water taxi from the airport was able to drop us all off very close to the hotel. If we return to Venice,we would stay at this hotel again.

We enjoyed staying at Ca' the Conti. Perfectly located (only 5 walking minutes to San Marco and 10 to Arsenale, where the Biennale takes place). Very clean and spacious enough (for Venice standards). Breakfast ok, not too rich but with "alternative" products (such as wheat-free flour bread). The view is not as scenic as in Canal Grande, but still on a charming little canal. On the other hand, it's perfeclty calm. Specially recommend the upper floor, having a nice terrace for reading and relaxing.

Lovely tall hotel rooms (401 & 402), if bathroom was rather small. As quiet as you want. Great location. Lobby facilities extremely modest. Early morning check-in appeared to go well but subsequently rooms were not allocated as requested. Really rude woman cashier at checkout on last morning would make me reluctant to return to what is in many ways a pretty perfect Venice hotel. Although the hotel has a water gate, the canal is so narrow that taxis can rarely get within two or three bridges of it during the day.

Stayed with a girlfriend for 4 days/3 nights in Sept 2006. THought it was overly priced but the quality and spaciousness of the room and furnishings was great. Bathroom was bigger than standard bathrooms in Italy. They gave each of us a bathroom with slippers and alot of towels. Breakfast was also very good. The other good thing was the location, even though it was a bit tricky to find at first, once located it was in an ideal spot. Away fromt he hustle and bustle but so close you were a 3 minute walk away from San Marcos Piazza. The personnel at the front desk were very helpful and gracious. Would stay again!

Ca' dei Conti was not just a run of the mill hotel. It was elegant, very clean and gave you a sense of an authentic Venice hotel. I would definitely stay there again and recommend it to anyone going to Venice.

The hotel, its services and the location are absolutely perfect. This is one of the rare cases where reality is more fascinating than the leaflets offer. We were having a pleasant stay and we are looking forward to another visit in Ca' dei Conti.

Geniales Hotel an bester Lage.

This was one of our favorite places to stay - we got a good 'last minute' rate and it was a treat to enjoy the amenities of this 4 star hotel. It was very comfortable - spa jet baths - and quiet. The location was very convenient, close enough to S. Marco but not right in the thick of things so quiet. The hotel kindly sent someone to the other hotel we were staying to show us the way - Venice streets can be hard to navigate, one gets lost easily!

We will definitely not remember this hotel for the friendliness of its reception staff nor for its breakfast which by no means relates to the standard of the hotel. Yet, we were very satisfied with the comfort of the rooms (spacious, comfortable, in excellent conditions)and the location of the hotel in the city is just perfect. Too bad that when we asked to stay one more night, the staff could only offer to double the price of the room, regardless of the fact that we had stayed for 4 nights...

€360 for two nights in a suite of two huge period but clean rooms is quite fantastic. Don't think we really needed either both rooms or both TVs! However location is very central but just out if the way enough to be quiet. I'd certainly go there again. Oh, the breakfast was really rubbish. Don't even attempt it, just go out!

It's a pretty and nice hotel. Tiny, but luxury and exotic. It's not eazy for us to find the location, since it seems always hard in Venizia, but not too far to the main area/ San Marcro. Anyways, we like it and would like to go back again.

We were especially pleased with our choice! I read alot of reviews of different places in Venice, and it seemed as if it was a bit of a crap shoot getting what you booked. We got way more than hoped for. The staff were extremely polite and helpful even after we got lost and had to have another hotel call and get us there very late. And they were more than happy to get up at 3am to check us out in time for the vaporetto back to the car park. The room was beautiful, spacious and with a lovely bathroom. Nice AC and quiet. The hotel was situated on a lovely side canal but just minutes from St. Marks and the Zaccaria water stop. How we managed a four star hotel for $100 EU a night (including breakfast!) is a mystery, but one we hope to repeat soon!

Very nice property. Room was a bargain at the price. We'll definatley return if we ever get back to Venice. We arrived after dusk, tired; a simple map to property would be nice. But, totally pleased with our four nights.
