Housed in a prestigious ancient building of Venice, Hotel Bucintoro offers its guests a refined décor combined with state-of-the-at hotel facilities to meet the needs of modern travellers, including wireless Internet access throughout, Internet Point, an elegant coffee shop and, last but not least, a panoramic terrace overlooking St. Mark's Bay.
The local is nice, without the crowd of turists and all is very good, but the wifi doesn't works in the room and the hot water is quite cold!

OMG! This place was BEAUTIFUL! A short hop from the public water transportation, easy to find. The staff was pleasant and knowledgeable. I will stay there WHEN I return to Venice. Very charming place. A FIVE star experience!!!

How to reach Bucintoro Hotel
By trainFrom the Santa Lucia Venice Train Station take the ACTV waterboat line 1, direction San Marco/Lido (around 45 minutes) or line 41 (around 30 minutes) direction Giudecca, and get off at the Arsenale stop, only 150 meters to the hotel. Please note: the line 1 journey is a little longer but much prettier.
By airplane
From the Marco Polo Venice International Airport: Take a water taxi leaving from the airport docks to arrive directly at the hotel in a little less than an hour or take the Alilagna red line motorboat that leaves from the docks and get off at the Arsenale stop, only 150 meters from the hotel.
Another option is to take the shuttle bus to Venice and get off in Piazzale Roma (bus and car terminal). Then continue with a water taxi that will take you to Hotel Bucintoro or you can take a public waterboat (ACTV) line 1 via the Grand Canal or line 41 via Canale della Giudecca, both stopping 150 meters from the hotel.
