globally nice but hot water was long vefore arriving and carpets are quite old to be really cleaned. Otherwise nice personnel and nice surrounding.

Very nice hotels, rooms were a little older, but in good condition. Breakfast was very good, they even had pizza. And the price of 60€ for a single room during carnival was ok!

It would be very helpful for other guests in the future to inform them by email or in any other way about the fact, that they will stay in another hotel that the booked one in the same street!! At our arrival we stood in front of a locked door, the hotel was completely closed. We almost thought of sleeping in the car!

We were charged €115 for a double room with breakfast. The room was very yaverage, worth no more than €50 and it was two bunk beds on metal frames pushed together. The internet also said satelite tv was provided, only local italian tv was present. The owners were unable to provide us with an acceptable room and the option to upgrade was poor.

We stayed at many hotels during our time in Italy and Biasutti Villa Ada was by far the nicest, and one of the cheapest too! Excellent location as a base for exploring Venice and the surrounding area. Fantastic breakfast as well.

Recomendable.

This hotel was beautiful and very close to the water shuttle which takes you to the main islands of venice. The only down fall is it is the last stop on the shuttle which means it's about a half hour ride to and from the main island! There is a little square next to the hotel which has cafe's and quaint little restaruants. i enjoyed my stay here.

A nice hotel, friendly staff, good breakfast. The room was definately not clean though and relatively small. We had to put some furniture out to have some room to move. Maybe that's Venice for you. I don't know, since it was my firts visit.

We had a few disagreements with the receptionist regarding the upgrade we accepted on arrival. The room was supposed to be twice as big as a standard one, with air conditioning and jacuzzi. It only met one of the characteristics:the size. They later told us that the air conditioning is only on in the building and rooms in July and August, the jacuzzi was not working. There was no shower curtain, so not only did we make a serious mess every time we had a shower, but more importantly we were at risk of slipping and hurting ourselves. When we complained they offered us another room, but we only got it for the last night (out of 3) of our stay. The only improvement there was that the jacuzzi worked. In all other aspects, we very much enjoyed our stay. We had glorious weather so had breakfast on the lovely terrace every morning. Breakfast also offered a great variety of food and drink in sufficient quantities (even just before they stopped serving at 10am!)

Disappointed with this hotel. We ended up upgrading from the Villa to the 4 star hotel. There was nothing 4 star about it. The rooms were old-fashioned and need renovation badly. The breakfast was mediocre. The staff insisted on cash for the upgrade difference in price. It was cheap (90 Euro for a double) but I wouldn't stay there again.

3 Stars for Hotel are ok. Villa is close to the main 4-Star house. Clean and comfortable room. Breakfast together with 4-Star Customers --> Excellent. 97,50 per night for Venice are o.k.. We booked a 3 day bus-ticket (ferry) for 22,50 per Person. So we could take a ride from venice to Lido as often as we wanted to. It takes 10-15 Minutes to get to San Markus with Line 1 or 52. From Railwaystation to Lido take 51 (about 30 Minutes to Lido). We enjoyed our stay there. Good Choice!

Very tricky hotel. Be careful with a guy named Sofia who speaks Japanese. He offered an upgrade when we checked in for additional 10 euro per day which should be paid in cash. When we declined his offer, he put us in a very shabby room. The room was very small, stinking!!, closet was falling apart, there were small bugs and spider in the room. I felt miserable. Since there was no bath matt and paper, I asked and he said they would be delivered. Nobody came. Anyway, the following morning, I asked for a room change, and we got a much better room just next door, which was obviously open the night we checked in as well. 6 euro for half an hour interenet is expensive. Sofia told me 6 euro for 20 mins! But the other staff (they were much nicer) told me that is for 30 mins. Although the other staff were nice and buffet breakfast was good, due to my first night experience, I do not recommend this hotel. Very tricky, indeed.

Very nice quiet room with harpsichord outside. Not luxurious, but then at 100 euro a night we weren't expecting that. Staff friendly, breakfast good (apart from the machine coffee), and being on the Lido no problem at all - enjoyed the boat trips in the morning.

Our room was not hoovered once during our week's stay. Breakfast was very poor indeed. Coffee was cold, there was nobody in overall charge of the waiting staff. The table clothes were filthy and remained stained on the tables for days. Cereal/fruit salad bowls were inside and nowhere near where they should have been. Nobody checked the hot food and consequently people had to queue to wait for fresh food. Friends stayed at a much smaller and cheaper hotel near the waterbus which was of a far greater standard and considerably cheaper.

Our room wasn't as nice as we expected because the website photos aren't from the Villa Ada rooms, they are from the Biasutti Hotel(a four star hotel in front of the Villa Ada). The room was quite little and not decorated in venetian style at all, actually it was horribly decorated. The staff was very kind and breakfast was great.

My husband and I stayed at this hotel (not knowing it was a part of Best Western) for three nights. We were extremely pleased. The hotel is made up of three older villas. We stayed in the main hotel (not at all like American Best Westerns--so do not worry). The room and bathroom were large. The room was decorated beautifully. The staff was very helpful, even calling the local golf club for my husband and looking up the boat taxi schedules for us. The island of Lido was romantic and one of my favorite spots in Italy. It is a short boat taxi ride to Venice (5 to 8 min.). The boat drops you off at the main dock and it is a short walk (3-5 minutes) to the hotel. It is worth staying on Lido, as Venice can get too crowded with tourists. Everytime we made it back to Lido and our hotel, it was with a little sigh of relief to be out of the confusion and crowds. The hotel is situated on a very quiet street with private homes/villas around. I do not hesitate to recommend this hotel. I would stay again without hesitation.

Very nice hotel beside the main road, near by the centre of lido. the room was very spacious, light and clean, the breakfast was standard for a hotel of best western group.the best combination between noisy-touristy venice and relaxing lido.the connection between lido and venice is very good, every 10 minutes there is a vaporetto waiting for you.

I recommend staying on Lido if you plan on staying for a few days. Our stay was only for one night and I felt it a little removed from Venice for just a one night stay. This would be an excellent summer retreat! I give this hotel an 100% recommendation for price and value.

For the price and location, Biasutti Villa Ada was a good find. Lido island is a great place away from the hustle and bustle of the main island of Venezia but easily reached by waterbus. If you can't afford the main hotel, Villa Ada is a good substitute.

Very good value hotel in an excellent location on the Lido island. Staff were not as friendly as have experienced previously - my guess is this may have been due to the very low rate (minimum advertised) we were paying and this was reflected in the service.
