Alla Salute was well below an acceptable standard for the cost. As our first visit to venice we were dissappointed with the lack of secuirty of the room our bags were stored(on the publis side of reception with easy access by people if staff not at the desk) Close to Salute vaperetto but noteasy to locate. open balcony on the way to the room had a very strong smell of animal urine and faeces. obviosley not cleaned properly and regularly. I would not recommedn this accommodation to anyone. Well overpriced.

Never come back in this hotel for few reasons. The bedroom wasn't clean. The bathroom was not correct too. Finally, two stars for this hotel isn't normal!

The hotel is in a great location, very residential and quiet, yet just across the Grand Canal from San Marco which is just one stop on the Vaporetto. We had a room at the front on a small canal which was good with good ceiling height. The breakfast was normal for Italy. Some of the public areas and carpets are a little shabby but its a three star hotel and that very accurately reflects its services and appearance. Its good value for money and all in all I was impressed with the place and would definitely recommend it.

We stayed at a double room and it was tiny and quite dirty. The two single beds put together were broken and the carpet was dirty. The bathroom had mould all over. On the other hand, the location is perfect and the staff is helpful and nice. Not worth it for the money you pay.

The room was a bit too dark: there were not enough lamps and two of them were not working! One towel has been missing.

We enjoyed our brief stay in the hotel. Room was nice, compact and clean. Only point of disappointment was that there was no AC but they provided a fan at our request.

Clean and comfortable hotel at a good price. The location is perfect. The breakfast was good. The only problem was that the hot water wasn't so hot. There is something like a little garden with tables where you can stay in the evening and drink some wine. The employees was very kind.

There was a large water stain on the wall opposite the bed , with peeling wallpaper.obviously not recent. The carpeted stair leading to the first floor was very dirty. I was not able to get a bottle of water at 21oo hrs.from the bar that was supposed to be open till 23oo hrs. the receptionist was not able to print a copy of receipt from the computer. Breakfast was crowded. One serving area, many sitting areas. I was booked in another hotel for following nights.Same area and price range, but thousand times better. Alle Salute obviously depends only on one time clients!

The only problem with the hotel is they do not have lift, which is very uncomfortable. Otherwise the breakfast and the hospitality are really nice. Rooms are good but no AC. The location is very nice.

Pleasing hotel in a good location. Looking out of the small balcony onto the comings and goings of a typical Venice side street was charming. Only gripe was the lack of air conditioning. A fan was provided in the room, yet the plug did not fit any of the plug holes. That aside, a pleasing property for a good price.

A simple but charming hotel. Accomodations were not elaborate but pleasant, clean and sufficient. My room and adjoining bathroom was cleaned everyday, though the chambermaids worked very hard as they were understaffed. Breakfast was served in a lovely covered garden. It consisted of croissants, cheese, yogurt, rolls, coffee, tea, hot chocolate. There was also a nice garden adjoining the lobby. The front desk staff was helpful and welcoming. They gave advice, directions and were very happy to call for restaurant reservations. There was also a computer for free internet service available. Since there is no elevator, staff assistance for carrying baggage to the upper floors would have been welcome. The location was excellent with a real neighborhood feel. It was on a charming, quiet fondemente, close to the Salute vaporetto stop and a short distance and pleasant walk to the Accademia bridge and stop. Right next door was a garden cafe-restaurant belonging to Hotel Meisner which was convenient for lunch or dining when one was tired of roaming. I would definitely return.

Good hotel but a little expansive and room noisy (window on the restaurant neighbour ) good location(near the salute station of vaporetto just before st marc place station) and near station Zattere ( we kept the boat here to join the airport but no boat available at the airport after 5 pm ) so we had to use bus + vaporetto no 1 not so bad ( 1 hour 10 and cheaper than boat )
