Great hotel ! The only problem that it was a little loud from the street, but I had earplugs.

Very friendly staff. Good location: 5 mins from train station, easy to walk to Rialto Bridge and St Marks Square (clear signposting all the way) or get the vaporetto along the Grand Canal. Didn't feel quite as touristy in this area and the prices more realistic, eg: Great trattoria around the corner, next to Tolentini canal, with a tourist menu for 15 euros - compared to 17 euros for a coffee in St Mark's Square.

great location (could use slightly better directions to get there- easy if you know how...) steep stairs need to be taken into consideration if not traveling light. staff all helpful and spoke english well. rooms were more spacious than many i've stayed in in european cities but some travelers may feel a tad cramped (2 dif stays, 2 rooms, both good) will definitely recommend to others and would stay there again

The rooms are ok just a bit noisy as is along the street and we got a room on the low floor. The location is quite a walking distance from the train station especially with luggages..had to cross a bridge.

They provided me a double room although I asked for a single. I was very happy with the room for the price I paid. There were two things, though. The hotel's location was not exactly as indicated in the map, I had to asked the locals for direction. Another thing is the staff member told me they only accept cash which put me in an awkard position because that was my last two days in Italy. I had to go to the bank next day to get more cash. Yet another satff told they did accept credit card! There is no air conditioner in the room, but it was ok for me because it was spring.

It was great, however far from San Marcos, but a couple of blocks from the train terminal. It is agreat place to stay if you are thinking about getting the water "metro" pass for however number of days you are staying there because it is kind of far from the heart of the city.

We took bus from Treviso airport and arrive at Venice Bus Station at around 11pm!! From there the weather was around 0 degree Celcius and very windy. The best thing is there's nobody to ask for the direction to the hotel but luckily one guy from nowhere told me that the hotel is just 2 briges away. 2 bridges away sounds very near but in actual fact it was not. With 2 20kgs bag to carry, it was very cumbersome to find the direction at 11 ++ pm. I would say the hotel is very difficult to find and looks VERY cheap. Gosh! it is appalling!! After pressing the door bell, I have to carry my luggage to 1st floor to the hotel and was given a hotel key for 2nd floor room!!!. The reception italian guy was very very UNhelpful with his deficiency in English, difficult for him to understand conversation. Once entered the room it was VERY2 small and smell worst than toilet!! After opening the window at cold Venice weather, then the smell faded away. My advice to fellow travellers..AVOID this hotel at ALL COSTS!!

When you open the door of the hotel, you have a surprise: a pleasant and well decorated place. The staff is very helpful and the bedroom (including the bathroom) is clear and clean, as the photo of the site. The bathroom is a bit small, but it is ok! It is a good hotel, near the train station, where certainly I would come back.

The hotel staff were extremely friendly and made us feel right at home the minute we arrived. They even offered us a newly renovated room, the quality and spaciousness of which was easily equivalent to that of a three-star hotel. Location is great - it's a five-minute walk away from the main train station. Rooms are clean and comfortable, definitely value for money. Excellent.

Less than 10 mins walk from train station. Turn right after crossing the big bridge. (we turned left and spent over 45mins being lost!!) Great location! Pizza restaurant downstairs is good.

We have rated the relationship between price and quality as poor on general UK experience. We accept, however, that Venice is an expensive venue and if compared to, say, London prices would be about OK. Whilst we accept this hotel is at the budget end of the market an electric kettle with cups to make tea and coffee would add significantly to the ammenity of the room at a fairly modest outlay. This is particularly relevant in view of the absence of any bar or coffee shop facilities which it would be unreasonable to expect in a hotel operating in this part of the market. No problem with the staff on duty who were always helpful and very friendly. The location close to the railway station is very handy if you choose to come in by train as we had originally planned. If you get dropped off at the airport and come in by water bus you are at the wrong end of town.

Great little hotel.Easy walk from the railway station but if you have a suit case on wheels use the ramp to the LHS of the station going out and you'll have to lift it over the steps over the canel bridge. But its not too far so stick with it. Nice little cafe for breakfast just outside. Easy location to get on the cheap water buses (Vaporetto)to get all over Venice. Enjoy!
