Hotel Ai Due Fanali - Venice

Westayed in August for 3 nights and enjoyed our stay.

A really nice hotel situated just 6 minutes walk from the Piazzale da Roma bus station and 4 minutes from the Santa Lucia train station. The rooms were snug and had everything we needed for our three night stay - a lift, TV, minibar, safe, ac, clean towels daily. The inclusive continental breakfast was as good as we've ever had anywhere and you could eat it on the roof terrace if you wanted to. When we go back to Venice, we would certainly stay again at the San Simeon Ai due Fanali

The room we were given would have been fine if we were less than 5 feet tall. Could not syand up in the bathroom,

very nice hotel, excellently situated, near both railway station, buss station, and city center. All within walking distance. Nice breakfast terrace.

Hotel was great. Room size was just fine and the room was clean. Staff was friendly and helpful. The only downside was that the air conditioning system had not yet been turned on for the season and it was warm during our stay, so we had to sleep with windows open. Room was not hot, but not cool and then we had outside noise to deal with. But this did not ruin our stay overall and we would return.

This is a lovely hotel. Slightly faded but with attractive features and all the facilities I needed. Added bonus of a super roof terrace for breakfast. The location was great for getting to and from the airport (just minutes from the bus station and not far from vaporetti stops). It is north of most of the top attractions and a good 20-25 minutes walk from St Mark's square. But Cannaregio (which is beautiful) is very close by and there are lots of places to eat close by as well.

We were very pleased with this hotel. The location is perfect; close to the station, but far from the tourist crush. Of course, everything costs too much in Venice, but we felt like Due Fanali was a good value. I highly recommend an osteria less than 100 meters from the hotel called "Alla Ferrata" for fish and other local cuisine.

WLAN is very expancive. I think is is not rigth in 2011. Free account is needet.

My boyfriend and I really enjoyed our one night stay here. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The room was very clean albeit a little smaller than I would have hoped. The rooftop terrace for breakfast was great! You can either take a water tax for I think 6.50 euros pp from the train station or lug your suitcases over 1 big bridge and one smaller one. We would definitely recommend this hotel to our family and friends.

This is a wonderful hotel, realy very near to the train-station and to the water-bus of actv. We liked it and we can strongly recommend to stay there. You are realy very soon at Campo San Polo, Piazzale Roma and many other very interesting places of Venice.

Very happy with the stay! If only Venice had better food it would have been the perfect vacation.

Hotel facile a trouver à moins de 5 minutes d'une station vapporeto, acceuil sympathique, chambre petite mais propre, très bien situé. Petit déjeuner correcte.
