Ca' Sagredo Hotel - Venice

This hotel is really nice. The stairs and the reception rooms are outstanding with exceptionnal paintings on the walls (Tiepolo). It looks like you were in a museum ! The rooms are spacious, comfortable and clean.The breakfast is very good too and the service particularly warm and attentive. Only two negative points : the air conditionning (stops and goes during the night) and the location maybe is a bit far from the main touristics attractions, but it is close to the Ca'd'Oro vaporetto stop.

Junior Suite

We order a Junior suite to a very good price in three night trough Venere. In the reservation we asked for a suite with wiew to the Grande Canal since this was our first stay in Venezia. When we arrived they told us that they didn`t had any rooms with canal wiew avalible, so they had upgrade to a better suite. We got room 316 - the best suite at the hotel. I believe it was appox 70 qms with furniture, roof painting etc. Although we did not got a Canal wiew, this was even better. All the staff made our stay fantastic, and in a magnificent historic arroundings - this was one of our best stay ever in a hotel.

Absolutely great. Maybe better than other luxury hotels in Venice. The suite on the Canal Grande was FANTASTIC! Perfect.

Price given for petit-déjeuner is not good.. given 15 Euro and factured 22 Euro. Every else wonderful. I stay 4 nights there.

The hotel is beautiful. The food is wonderful. Service is nice. But, do not rely on the hotel to provide you with water taxi service (at 6.45 am). We booked one through the hotel, which did not show. It took the hotel 30 minutes to find another, we almost missed our plane, we were not able to declare tax free items for refund, and the hotel said sorry, we're not accountable. But we booked it through the hotel, and the hotel said it would provide one. Hmmm The 1st floor rooms on the Grand Canal, while beautiful, are lOOUUdd, all night long.

This hotel is a real palace. It should be regarded and rated as one of the best hotels in the world. You can't beat it at the price that we paid.I prefer it over hotel D'Paris, another true palace hotel in Monte Carlo.

Our experience was generally good, our room was vast, though the view was not great - given the location (On the Grand Canal) we would probably have exchanged a view for a smaller room, but that was not clear when we booked. Appart from forgetting to bring our bags upstairs the service was accomodating, and the night porter kindly made me breakfast at four in the morning when I had to go to a business meeting. Lunch and or Dinner on the terrace overlooking the canal would be a must for a return stay.
