Nice and clean bedroom and bathroom. Shower really small, but besides that everything else was ok. The breakfast was inside the room, it has the basics (bread, coffee, yogurt, juice), it was ok. Free internet, though you have to get a password that will last only an hour and after that you need another ticket. It have a good location close to San Marco and shops. Overall I would recommend this place.

Compared to hotel standards in Italy, the room was surprisingly good and centrally located and still not excessively expensive. Cleaning was a bit of questionmark where the hotel could make some improvement. The two brothers (I guess as they looked alike) at the reception could make some efforts to be friendly as the first contact with them was percieved as one was not welcome and they came across as being "arrogant"!!! Surprisingly one could hear the neighbours quite well from arriving in the building till coughing in the room. Otherwise, it was a charming place with relatively newly done room and bathrooms, very central.

This hotel does not have its own reception and you have to go to a hotel a few doors down the street to get the key, the website should state this, however I knew this from reading other peoples reviews on this hotel. The room was very small and dark, however the location and price was good so this made up for it. The breakfast was adequate and the staff were nice. Venice is fab!! Bernie

I chose to stay at Ca del Duca based on the reviews on Venere.com and these were accurate. the hotel was great, clean, very modern furnishings in beautiful Venetian style and very close to St Mark's square, restaurants and shops. The only slight complaints are that the bathroom is very small and the shower door did not close properly so that every time we took a shower, water leaked out onto the bathroom floor and we had to use our towels to mop it up. Not a big deal, but an area for improvement. We did not hear any noise from the outside, but the people in the room next door were noisy and we could hear everything they said. Also, as noted in many of the reviews, you need to check in through Hotel Noemi which is located a few doors down, as Hotel Ca del Duca has no actual sign, only a name on the door. This could be mentioned on Venere's website. On the positive side, the staff were very friendly polite and gave us helpful information whenever we asked for it. I would both stay there again and recommend this hotel to others.

ok to spend one night in Venice. If you stay more, find something more comfortable.

Hotel quality good for the price.Small room but fantastic location.Close to grand canal waterbus and San Marco Square.Good restaurants close to room.Hotel info does not tell you to check in at the hotel Neomi arond the corner which made it hard to find.

It is important to note that the Ca Duca is combined with the Hotel Noemi on the same street When one calls the telepone number on the Ca Duca reservation it is put thru to Noemi. Therefore that is how the reservation should be listed. The Noemi has a very visible sign out from while the other is just a doorway very easy to overlook. We enjoyed our stay, the staff was helpful. The room was small but very clean with attractive furnishings.Consistent with Venice the price is high for what you get. The staff recommended 2 restaurants which although expensive are worth a visit, the Bistro just up the street and the Antico Pignola a few blocks away, both excellent. The hotel is near San Marco and an easy walk to the Galleria Academia, and the Rialto. Venice is extremely crowded but so unique that it is surely worth the visit. And the Doges Palace and the Basilica are sensational. Enjoy your visit

Petit hôtel sympa, très bien placé, très joli et très romantique. Petit bémol car mal isolé au niveau sonore entre les différentes chambres de l'hôtel.

Good location to the Termini station - less than a 5 minute walk. Staff was friendly and welcoming upon our arrival. It is hard to locate on the street as it is in a building without a sign and onlymarked on the buzzer. Would definitely recommend to others.

Brilliant location, very close to St. Mark's Sq. Very clean and spacious rooms. Friendly and helpful staff. One thing to note is that you check in at Hotel Noemi (sister hotel) which is situated just a few doors down as this is not mentioned on the Venere website. We would definitely return to Ca' del Duca and would recommend it to anyone. Ciao!

Plesas tell people that the hotel is just a small entrance, not easy to find and that you have to get the keys in the next hotel! Ca del Duca has no reception! --- 2 minutes away from Place de san Marco --- 5 minutes away from Rialto Bridge!!!!!

Check-in at hotel Noemi, which is few steps away from Ca' del Duca. Could be mentioned on Venere's website.

When we arrived at the hotel to check in we were told "there was a problem with the booking" and that we would be given an equivalent room in another hotel "only 10 meters away". Well, the Hotel Goriza turned out to be several blocks away from Ca Della Duca. But the substitute lodging was OK and we had a good stay there.

The rooms are quite noisy as located very near San Marco Square. We had been given a very small room for the first night but the reception offered us to change it for the second one. The bathrooms are new and clean, employees are professional and polite. The relationship between price and quality is very good, considering the high prices in Venice.

We were pleased with the room and the location; Although we expected to pay in euros not dollars at a higher than 1.23 exchange rate.

First time ever in Venice and would stay here again if we ever return. Just 1 min walk from S. Marco sq. Only thing to note is that you actullly check in at the hotel Noemi a couple of doors away.

It was hard to find the hotel. And the reception was different from the hotel. I needed more information about how to check in.
