Antony Palace Hotel - Marcon, Venice

Excellent value, very comfortable and clean room, outstanding service, convenient to both Marco Polo and Venice via hotel van, incredible breakfast buffet

This is a very nice hotel. The only drawback is that it is a bit inconvenient if your purpose is to go to Venice. There is a train station close by, but the walk is a bit long after a long day in Venice. The hotel will shuttle you to Venice for a reasonable price. Overall, great place to stay if you want a up-to-date hotel with nice amenities. Better than the Hilton at Rome airport.

We chose to stay at Anthony Palace Hotel because we had an early flight out the next morning. The shuttle service was handy as they picked us up from Piazza Roma in Venice to the hotel. Shuttle to the airport is now 4 euros/person but service was prompt and drivers are friendly even at 530AM. The hotel staff however were just so-so. Some were nice, others could care less and didn't seem to care. Rooms were nice. Was not able to try their free breakfast since we left so early--packaged breakfast consisted of muffins, dry toast, assorted jams, oranges and bottled water. DO NOT bother to eat at the hotel restaurant. They charge 22 euros for mostly cold food (buffet) that had been sitting out for a while. Unfortunately there are not many options. The Bavarian restaurant others mentioned (across the lobby) was closed and the pizza place (diagnol to the hotel lobby) had no customers. Besides the outlet stores, there was a nice mall about a 10 minute walk away. They have a food court and also a huge Walmart-like store that sells groceries. Worth exploring if you have nothing else to do. Otherwise I would recommend staying in Venice proper if you are a tourist. Works well for early flights out of Venice.

Front desk staff very courteous and professional. Hotel and room was spotless. It was not far from a fantastic mall and the airport.

Best hotel I have stayed in in Italy! the location of the hotel itself is great - 300m from the nearest train station which has a direct service to Venice main land. The hotel itself is truely 4 stars - spacious rooms, modern design, excellent service. Would definitely recommend it!

Hotel location is too far from tourist sites. The shuttle bus provided by the hotel runs only 4 return trips a day between the hotel and Piazza di Roma.The first bus leaves at 10:30am, we had to book a 60EURO. taxi to catch a 9am train.

We were very extremely pleased with the Antony Palace and chose it because of the proximity to the airport, which was only about 10-15 mintues away. They provided shuttle service at a very reasonable price to the airport (about one fourth a cab fare)and we definitely recommend it for airport convenience. Everyone was very professional, helpful and courteous, and we would definitely stay there again for an overnight between flights. It has a small, but adequate dining room.

Too far from Venice, in the middle of a commercial park area, quiet in week-end, too noise during the week

Recommended for easiness of public transport and access to shopping centre. Very good rooms.
