Hotel very well located and clean. The services are correct even though the breakfast is not of high quality. The disappointment came from the size of the bedroom. It was very small and not corresponding to our expectation.

The location of the Hotel is very convennient where is in the center of Venice, a minute stroll to San Marco Plaza. The employee are friendly and helpful. The style of the Hotel can be traced back to the 17th century that is classical. It is a perfect place for the couple (young or old) to spend a nice vacation there.

Excellent location, 3-minute-walk from St Marc, quiet, very good relation between price and quality. Only downside, the mattress of the double bed in the double family room is VERY uncomfortable.

1. the internet connection did not work when i checked-in on the 19th april 2009 2. The side bed in 4-persons'room is a little bit small 3. The toilet in 4-persons'room is private but is not intergrated in the bedroom, in fact, it is out of the door but clocked by your key.

We arrived in the pouring rain!! and were helped with our luggage. We were offered hot coffee for free. The rooms were warm and welcoming although it was not clear from the original info that my friend and I, each with our own room, would have to share one 'private' bathroom .Breakfasts could have been more varied but all in all we were very happy.

Consigliato.

Due to damaged internet data lines by flood in November last year Credit Card payment was not possible. Only a very small plate (between a lot of other small advertisement plates) at the receiption gave an indication that only cash money will be accepted. We and another french group have overseen this hint. It would be much better to place a sheet of paper on the pillow two days before leaving making this problem aware for guests. The french group haven't had enough cash money with them and they had to find a bank before checking out. This creates a lot of unneed stress.

The room was fantastic, the service was awesome. I really loved it. I stayed there with my wife and my baby boy. The stay was really very nice and i really want to recommend others this hotel. The only thing which you should keep in your mind while choosing this hotel is that, the entrance on the ground looks really pathetic and the hotel is at the third floor, and you dont enjoy the facility of the elevator so you have to pick up your luggage to the third floor by yourself.

WC will!

The Hotel's location is more than perfect, I think the breakfast is little, and the breakfast room is small. Staff were friendly. The rooms was clean. The rooms which are on the third floor a little bit noisy (coffe maker, cups) in the early mornings.

I stayed in Venice during 3 days. There is best location where the hotel is near Piazza San Marco. Room is cleanliness and good facilities, and it is possible to check in for all early arrival at the hotel. But I regret that I couldn't pay by the card for machine trouble.

The hotel is hard to find even with a map. After climbing 4 flights of stairs (U.S. standard is 5) with small luggages, we found out our room was in a separate building. Needless to say we were disappointed as the other building does not provide any services (breakfast, internet and etc.) The other building has about 3 rooms belonging to this hotel. Our room was extremely small, barely moveable without hitting your head in the overhead board and it appeared hairs were still in the sink and on our sheets. We rarely used the breakfast offered in the other building as the climb made it inconvenient. While this hotel is close to the San Marco square, I'd stay near the Rialto bridge next time for convenience. The heart of Venice is at the Rialto bridge.

We were in a separate building just down the lane but that wasn't a problem. Our fridge wasn't working and was fixed by the time we left but I'd expect the cleaning staff could have checked that kind of thing. The staff were friendly enough. Breakfast was good and there was quite a bit of choice, though my partner said the coffee wasn't hot and we guessed they make it up in bulk and refrigerate it and then heat it up (not enough) in the morning...yucky! Cold boiled eggs wasn't great but was bareable. The main building seemed to be falling apart - the bannisters on the stairwell were so wobbly they can't be used for their intended purpose - you wouldn't get away with that in Australia, I don't know why it's acceptable in Venice. I think the water went cold too quickly in our shower but I'm not sure if I've got all the hotels confused. The internet drove us crazy - the connection kept dropping out - though it was free and it was difficult to find internet anywhere else (except for the one place we found where it was 5 Euros for 30 minutes!) so we tolerated the hotel's internet.

We only stayed for one night. The breakfast is included in the prize and the eating room is very nice, but it was located in a different building. Considering that EVERYTHING in Venice is overprized, the relationship Price/quality is good with this hotel, especially because it is really close to the Main touristic attractions (San Marco Square and Rialto bridge) and it is located very near to the Vaporetto station of San Marco-Valaresso

This was a really good hotel for the price. It was clean and incredibly quiet, and very well heated, even though it was December when we visited. It was also really central - just round the corner from St Mark's Square - so everything was very easy to get to. The breakfast was crossaints, rolls, cereal, biscuits, a boiled egg, yoghurt and buscuits and lots of coffee. Loads of food to set you up for walking around the town!

The real hotel`s name is LOCANZA ANTICA VENEZIA. Besides, the fonts at the street are so little. If you don`t focus on it, you will pass over without see it.Be aware if you are arriving at nigth, like I did, cause is easy to get lost. The other and no minor problem is that YOU MUST CARRY YOUR OWN BAGGAGE 3 FLOORS until the reception cause is has not elevator.

They do not warn you on the website that the hotel is on the top floor of a residential apartment and there are no lifts we had to carry our luggage one by one because there are no bell boys either. Very unpleasant service, no smiles, breakfast was crappy. Bad experience, I was very disappointed.

Great location near St Marks Square. Only problem with this is the bells did wake us up. It is true what they say about the 3 flights of stairs to reach the hotel. Hard work with heavy suitcases but worth it. Nice balcony overlookig rooftops for breakfast. Simple but plentiful continental breakfast. We booked 1 room for 4 but they gave us 2 rooms which was nice. Our bathroom only had hand held shower in bath so if you like to stand up for your shower this won't suit you. Lots of European character. Had a great stay

As previously stated in other reviews, it was a little tricky to find although the vaparetto dropped us off on the exact street(alley) on which the hotel was located. The actual entrance was in an another alley off the address, and you had to ring a buzzer on what looked like an apartment building to be let in. That was a little strange, but then again, not much real estate in Venice. Room was clean and neat. Service was friendly. We had to leave very early so we missed breakfast. The location was a minute walk from St Mark's Square. Great location. Our first trip to Venice so we were in awe anyway. Italy was expensive in general so it's difficult to say whether the price to quality to location ratio is good or bad. Location and room were great.

Excellent location in Venice. Hotel is on the 3rd and 4th floor - expect to climb up the stairs. Staff was OK, not overfriendly, but no one in Venice is. Breakfast terrace has amazing views. For us very good value for money right in the heart of Venice. We stayed in Venice for 2 days, food was overpriced and we should have planned dinners in advance to end up in a decent place. Save yourself $ and don't take the gondola ride, pricey and you get almost the same out of water taxi.

We were a family of four (2 children aged 10 and 9) and the room was comfortable and spacious. We had our own private bathroom down the hall (really only one room away) which was very clean. The hotel was close to St Mark's square and within easy walking distance from a ferry stop on the grand canal. Breakfast was great. We really enjoyed our stay.

This is a weird but good hotel. It turned out that we did not actually stay in the hotel, but in the next street in more like a serviced apartment. We didn't mind. The building as we walked in had a very low doorway, we had to duck so we didn't bump our heads. The smell on the lower floors was terrible (damp) but as you went further up it got alot better. The hotel itself does not even look like a hotel (lucky we found it), the entry foyer downstairs is shocking (looks like a deralick building), the hotel actually takes up the upper 2-3 floors of the building and you have breakfast on the rooftop terrace (very nice). Breakfast was nothing much to talk about but it was ok.

We had a great time and only slept at the hotel. The walls were a little thin and we could hear the bathroom of the next room. Great aircon that kept everything cool. we were in the new wing (3 rooms)...Out of the hotel and a fifty yard walk to a new house. but all very very nice. I liked being away from the hotel main building. Breakfast on the terace up stairs (four tables close together was quite interesting. A good continental breakfast with additional extras if you wanted eggs etc. lovely views over the rooftops. we didn't use this in the evenings but I bet it would have been fun. A good central position for tourists.

Great location in Venice. Rooms are clean, nice decor, breakfast with a decent variety. There is also a small deck that you can look out on the roof tops while you sip drinks or eat. Only drawback are 4 flights of stairs if you take much luggage with you. We did not and were grateful. Overall we were very satisfied if you take into account the high prices everywhere in Venice.

We chose the room for the location. The room was EXTREMELY small. Based on the pictures we saw online, we expected a larger room. However, the private bathroom was spacious. It was very clean and provided all necessary requirements. The staff was friendly and helpful. Unfortunately, we had an early departure and could not stay for the breakfast provided. We did spend sometime on the rooftop hotel terrace, which was nice overlooking other rooftops in Venice.

We had our own bathroom which had loo, bidet and shower which was also very clean but the bathroom was a few steps away along the corridor. Breakfast was good including tasty danish pastry type things , good coffee and jug of hot chocolate for the children. Staff were always available and helpful. The location-very near San Marco and a water bus stop-was excellent . There were quite a lot of steps so not good for disabled.

Great location. We loved the breakfast on the balcony - great view !!! We stayed at room #2 (next to the reception - a bit noisey in the morning from 7h30am. Our children (4 boys) stayed in a big room (#6) down the hall. We had no problems with the stairs (good exercise). We read about how difficult it was to find the hotel - and of course with that thought implanted in our heads, we made it difficult to find, when actually it's not that tricky - the hotel is about 20feet on the right, from the tiny sign located on the very top of the major sidewalk with all the boutiques. The terrase is definitely a plus for the hotel. Good service & quality for the price. Location is great!!!

Wassertaxi kostete immerhin 80 Euro.

I have stayed in the hotel before and had a really nice time. Unfortunately this time my visit was not so good. This was a present for my mother and my Aunt's 65th birthdays. I booked two twin rooms for our party of four, but unfortunately when we got there we were told we were staying in an apartment around the corner. This wasn't too far far away, but a little inconvenient for breakfast and generally for hotel information and assistance. As I say we thought we were staying in a hotel! Also, we then had to share a bathroom when we had booked two rooms with a bathroom each. This really was very inconvenient especially as we had to wait about fifteen minutes between each shower!!!! We initially complained about this on the first day we arrived and we were told to speak with the manager when we checked out. On check out day the manager was no where to be found. After much negotitations we managed to get a discount, well I say a discount, but we were charged the standard rate for the apartment instead of the standard rate for the two twin rooms we had booked. Although we did get a reduction in the end this really did blight our holiday.

When first getting there, it was easy to find, however, the hotel is located on the 3rd and 4th floors and have no staff to help you bring up your bags. So only stay here if carry light baggage or have someone in your group to help carry the bags up. In the room, there were tons of mosquitoes and we found roach/ant spray in the closet which we used to kill all the ones we saw. The room was also unlevel...if you put something on the desk, it rolls off. The room itself is not bad, good for just going back to the hotel to sleep. The walls are thin so you can hear everything going on in the hotel, but since there are not so many rooms, it's not too bad. Breakfast on the terrace is nice. Also, we asked the concierge if there was any places or restaurants that she could recommend and she said to just walk around and see for ourselves, which did not help. Overall, our total experience here was ok, but not great.

They have an excellent staff members. The problem that we encounter was that we were not aware that the hotel was on the third floor and they don't have elevator, so we carried our suit cases upstairs until the staff realized that we were comming and send somebody to help us. Also, we were informed that the room has the bathroom, but, until we arrived we found out that the bathroom was outside the room, very inconvinience when there is two o three o'clock in the morning and you want to use the bathroom.

Nice breakfast, but terrible eggs, sometimes raw, somtimes old(bad smell)too much boiled, why not fresh every day and 5 or 10 minutes? Had a wonderful stay and liked it very much. I think I forfot a little package in thee closet, a tablecloth with some postcards, but according to the hotel, nothing was found, and then I believe that, but I am not sure if the mentality is that if something is found maybe the cleaning personal thinks it was left for them. If it was not there I am sorry for thinking this way. But not a big deal, and I would like to stay in the hotel again and also recommend it to others.

We chose to stay at Antica Venezia based on internest reviews, and because they had a room large enough for my parents, my husband and I, and our 2 year old son. We booked a 'suite', and were given an apartment style room just around the corner from the main property. Though it was up 2 flights of stairs (every place in Venice is!), it was an excellent setup with 2 separate bedrooms and a bathroom that is spacious by European standards. The main reception and breakfast in the main house is up many stairs as well (I think my father and 2 year old counted 80!!), but it was well worth it. I would definitely stay again, and recommend it to families traveling together. EXCELLENT view from the breakfast patio!

I wish I had known about the problems at this hotel first. We were there 3rd week of Aug 2008. First off, its not the easiest hotel to find. We found it ourselves but while checking-in 2 other groups had called looking for the hotel. The sign doesn't exactly read Hotel Antica Venezia (forgot what it said). Secondly the staff at the front desk was unfriendly and unhelpful. Our airconditioner in room 8 was also broken and 3 of the staff said it was unfixable - what happen to guest comfort?? It was over 30 degrees when we were there and extremely uncomfortable at night. The only plus is that its nice and close to San Marco Square. Overall not a good hotel experience and would not recommend to others.

We arrived & had to drag 3 large suitcases up 3 flights of stairs while the desk boy was standing at the top of the stairs watching us!!! We had rung ahead to say we would be booking in late & he told us we didn't! The attitude was abrupt, no help, no lift, room was the smallest we had in Europe - wouldn't recommend this hotel to anyone.

When we arrived, we were shunted immediately to the Annex, one lane away from the hotel. This was presented as a 'good deal' as we would have our own 'appartment'. However, we were very disappointed as we had booked two double rooms with bathrooms, but ended up with two rooms and only one shower room among four of us, which was a real pain as it took ages for us to all have showers. The kids also were sleeping on a sofa bed, which was not great. We had to go outside, round the corner and up four flights to have our breakfast. We still had to pay the same rate though with no reduction for only having one shared bathroom. There was also limited hot water. Apart from these disappointments, the hotel was very clean, the location was excellent (very central) and the breakfast terrace had lovely views across the rooftops.

Tourist office at San Marco Vaporetti marked hotel on map so easy to find on foot. Hotel & staff great but breakfast was very bland & mostly prepacked.Chilled rather than room temp milk would have been nicer for cereals. Terrific roof top breakfast/ late night drinks room. Great location for sightseeing & vaporetti. Good value for money although difficult stairs if elderly or infirm

We had a wonderful stay at the Antica Venezia. My mother and I were placed in a room just down the passage from the main hotel which turned out to be a godsend as it has big rooms with its own bathroom, and also away from all the noise/children in the main hotel. The breakfast was plentiful and nice, only thing is, do they ever make hot coffee in Venice, we didn't manage to have one in all the time we were there. Lovely place though, would recommend to anyone.

The room was on the top level, private bathroom, but not attached to the room, the bed was tucked in the corner with the ceiling beams so close - could not sit upright in the bed...not at all pleased with that. The yogurt was warm at the continental breakfast. The only positive was the location...the accommodations were not memorable...woke up with 7 bug bites. Plus, the room is only accessable via a long flight on stairs. Pehaps other rooms are more desirable.

This hotel is really central, meaning that we could pop back there several times a day to stock up on water, etc and use the loo, rest and cool down. The staff were friendly and helpful apart from the guy on the desk when we got there who could have been friendlier. However, the rooms were cool (air conditioned) and extremely clean, the breakfast was fab and the lounge and roof terrace was fantastic. We were in room 3, right behind reception, ans I thought it would have been noisy - but not at all. I could not fault this hotel for location and price and would definately go there again! My 7 year old loved it too - eapecially the chocolate spread on toast at breakfast!!

We enjoyed our stay at this hotel. I would recommend following other reviewers advise, as we did, and make sure you request a room in the hotel proper. There is other building that they use as overflow. I emailed the hotel after booking the rooms and confirmed that we would be staying on the 3rd floor with rooms that had bathrooms in them. These are the rooms we received. However, I do not think that contacting them in writing will guarantee you will get the rooms you requested. There was another couple that checked in at the same time as we did and they were taken to the other building despite claims that they were promised rooms in the main building. That not with standing, we did enjoy our stay at the hotel. The rooms are somewhat small but that is to be expected in Venice unless you want to spend 3 times the price. The rooms and bathrooms were clean and the air conditioners in our two rooms worked well. One note on the top floor rooms: These rooms do not have the bathrooms in the actual rooms. They are across the hallway. I think that if you were staying with a group of friends in the 3 rooms on the top floor this would not be a problem as this group of rooms can be closed off from the rest of the hotel making it a lot more private. Another note for my fellow Americans: We knew that the hotel did not have an elevator and that the hotel was on the 3 and 4 floors of the building, hense lots of stairs. This is technically correct. We had, however, forgotten that in Europe they do not count the bottom most floor as the first floor. This is actually the ground floor. This makes the hotel on the 4 and 5 floors of the building, from the American perspective. This meant one more flight of stairs that expected. Make sure you leave your bags on the ground floor when checking in. They have someone to carry them up for you. We would be willing to stay at the hotel again. We saw many interesting looking hotels that we might what to try. It of

The hotel was difficult to find even with directions. But what was worse was the fact that we got some sort of bugs from the property (in addition to the numerous mosquito bites because the a/c did not work and we had to leave the window open for airflow). They looked like mosquito bites at first - but then new bumps continued to surface each day after we left the property in new places. They were only killed with putting clear nail polish over the bumps which suffocated the bugs underneath the skin. It is disgusting to think about! What's more, they were not able to accomodate 5 separate beds for 5 adults traveling together (not couples). We got 2 double beds and a single - with only 1 bathroom. I cannot recommend this hotel.

Excellent location and price. The main hotel was charming. I stayed in the annex around the corner...not so charming. One of the front desk clerks were extremely rude...the others were wonderful. Would stay again the the main hotel for price and location. N.B. 3 flights of stairs to the lobby!

The hotel was quite difficult to find. We didn't realize that the hotel was on the upper level, so we had to take a tiny, one person elevator. When we first arrived we were sceptical to say the least. Then we found out that we were sharing a bathroom with another couple. I was certain that I had booked a room with a private bathroom and was very unhappy. The gentleman who greeted us and showed us to our rooms was as gracious as he could possibly be and apologized that there were no other rooms available and then he gave us a bottle of champagne to smooth things over. It was not his fault, and the stay ended up to be remarkably pleasant, due largely to the hospitality of the kind, older gentleman, who's name I regrettably have forgotten. He was kind and classy and recommended several places to eat which we enjoyed very much. The breakfast was good and we love the small outdoor terrace. We loved Venice!!

The location is convenient and the value/price good for Venice. Finding it requires attention to detail, particularly their yellow sign placed high up on the alleyway. The hotel fills part of the upper floors of a larger building. There was eager assistance with bags up the stairs (no elevator) but some desk staff would do nothing for us including replace light bulbs. They also insisted that airconditioning was not allowed for several weeks yet in Venice (though it was very warm) which we found out from others was not the case for their hotels. Their internet was poor and expensive. Breakfast was very good and with an excellent outdoor rooftop patio. As forewarned, the view from the room was a nearby brick wall.

If your only criteria are a value-priced hotel and within walking distance to Piazza San Marco, then Antica Venezia may be the place for you. I made my reservations for two double rooms and one singe room in early February for mid-March, and received an immediate confirmation. When I arrived (and it is a bit tricky to find -- it sits on an alley from Via Frezzaria and not on the actual street itself) I was informed that due to a problem with bathrooms (?) they had to change my reservation to a triple and a double. They sent an e-mail two days before my arrival, but I was already traveling and did not have access to my e-mail (although not sure it would have made a difference). Initially the clerk was not going to reduce the price - but we resolved that. The actual rooms were on another street, and not in the hotel proper. Five adults ended up sharing one bathroom and two rooms - in a separate building - and that cost 250 Euros. Should you stay at Antica Venezia, my recommendation would be to confirm before you arrive, and have an alternate plan. I am not that adventurous, so the experience was not particularly enjoyable.

The room and the bathroom were very clean. Space is a hot commodity in Italy and our room was understandably small, but still worked fairly well for four. The room was quiet and the street outside was not well frequented at night. The occasional passerby is to be expected. There was a very grumpy man living in the next room who tried to start an argument, but needless to say it was handled well. We were very late coming into Venice and the staff was incredibly understanding. The price was listed as agreed upon and the location was correct on the map, literally three minutes from San Marco square. Our room was down the street a few buildings, but again that is to be expected in Italy. Everything seemed to fit what we saw on the website, and have breakfast on a rooftop veranda overlooking San Marco was the icing on a delicious Venetian cake. I would MOST DEFINITELY stay here again. Thank you Antica Venezia!

We had a wonderful 4-day stay over the last weekend of Carnivale. Having been forewarned of the 4 flights of stairs, it really didn't bother us, except for check-in. But, Abdul helped with half the bags, so, that was good. The continental breakfasts were nothing to write home about, but it was a convenient way to start the day.

This hotel is ideally situated, just a few hundred metres from the Piazza San Marco. The breakfast (included) was typically continental. The really hungry might need a top-up at one of the near-by cafes. The room was tiny, making a submarine cabin look like a Presidential suite. It was impossible to open the room or bathroom door without hitting the bed. I peered into other rooms which appeared slightly larger. The public lounge upstairs was a great place to unwind and the drinks over the bar were much cheaper than those outside. For some strange reason, there seemed to be a different person on the front desk each time we returned to the hotel (about 6 in all). All were very nice except an elderly gentleman who looked and behaved like he didn't want to be there. Venice was generally the most expensive place we visted while in Italy (even more so than Milan) so I doubt you'll find a better value hotel. Just don't expect too much and try to spend most of your time outside. Then again, I guess that's the general idea.

We (2 couples) have booked 2 doublerooms with sep. bathrooms. Actually, when we arrived, we faced, that we're put into one familyroom equipped with 2 bedrooms and ONE bath to share for all. The rooms and bath were new, but obvious better for a family than for 2 couples. We've complained at the reception that we have booked 2 room ensuite, but nothing happened. Real brashness, because we've booked 6 month in advance! The rooms itself: One (parent)room was ok, but the other was small, no mirror, no individual lights, no fridge....and right next to the shared bathroom. :-( The breakfast was every day the same. Coffee warm, not hot, boiled egges cold. Extracosts for "special" wishes like scrambled egges... Last but not least: There is a fishrestaurant "Da Nino" next to the hotelrooms. The smell outside the rooms and sometimes inside the rooms was incredibly bad. Sorry, but we cannot recommand this Hotel at all, although the location in Venice is nice.

We got very small double room beside reception desk so it was very noisy in the mornings. From seeing some of the other rooms, it looked like we got the smallest one though. Luckliy we were staying Sat/Sun nights because starting early Monday morning, builders were working outside our window due to renovation works going on. Glad we were not staying longer due to noise levels. Positives were cleanliness, location. Good place to stay for 1 or 2 nights but would not recommend any longer.

The staff couldn't have been more helpful. The room itself was beautiful, the airconditioning was struggling though. Only draw back was that as a family group of 7 we were told that we would have 3 rooms, 2doubles + 1 triple with a bathroom to share. We ended up with just 2 rooms, which was ok but it meant there was another group in the same corridor as us and our bathroom, and with only one key we needed to leave the bathroom open at night. other than this great location and staff.

This hotel is centrally located in the heart of Venice. The room was spacious and tastefully decorated. The beds were comfortable and the bathroom was clean. The only caution I would make is to specifically state in the overview of this hotel that it has no lift. There were four of us traveling with one large suitcase each, and it was nearly impossible to get the luggage up five flights of stairs. I injured my back and damaged a piece of luggage, so beware! Other than this issue, our stay was pleasant.

We had a fantastic time in Venice and loved our stay in Antica Venzia. We were a family of 5 (2 adults and 3 kids) and were given two rooms. The bathroom was not on suite, but it was a private bathroom for us. If you expect a fancy hotel with elevators and views and spacious rooms and room service, etc, this may not be a hotel for you. However, if you are looking for a quaint, clean, charming place at a good price you have come to the right place... The location of the hotel is absolutely fantastic. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The owner was really nice and welcoming. All in all we had a fabulous stay and I would definitely recommend Antica Venezia.

GGOD POINTS:- The hotel staff were very friendly and helpful. When Easyjet messed up our flights they managed to find and organise another hotel for us for 1 night at short notice. They also posted my phone back to me in the UK when I left it behind! Hotel is literally a stone's throw from St Marks Square (down a quiet side alley). The attic suite we had was spacious with two double beds (one of which was under low rafters - but more than adequate for our children). They also provided a cot for our youngest child. There is a nice lounge area with internet (at a cost), magazines, TV and stereo. There is a small bar with tea/ coffee or alcoholic drinks if you want. Breakfast is served in a nice room on the top floor which leads out to the small roof terrace. BAD POINTS:- The air conditioning kept switching itself on and off. This is obviously an ongoing problem because I noticed that other guests had commented on this before in the guest book. OTHER:- The bathrooms on the top floor are not in the bedrooms - they are across the corridor. However, you do get your own private bathroom (with a bath). Building works are going on at the property at the time of writing (July) The hotel is up three flights of stairs. There is no lift. Mrs S Jones Gloucestershire, UK

Location was difficult to find (as are most within Venice) but there were paper signs posted on the corners. You arrive at an undecorated, black metal door and they "buzz" you in from the street. The reception desk is on the 3rd floor. Our room was in another building about 1 block away. The view from rooftop terrace is a forest of old TV antaenas.
