The aircon didn't work properly, the room smelled ever so slightly of stale urine. I had to leave the window wide open on a hot night, window faced the street, garbage disposal took place at 4:00 am ... the overall result: almost no sleep. Photos and description are somewhat misleading, the hotel is very much a 1970s-"bunker" in a not-so-nice area. On the other hand the room was relatively large, and staff were really friendly.

Staying at the Hotel Diana was a very good experience for my husband and I. The staff were friendly and very helpful. The room was spacious and very clean with a lovely view of the hotel garden. Medieval Vence was within easy walking distance. Be sure to visit the town of St. Paul de Vence....lovely!!!

Location: Vence is a pleasant country town not far from St.Paul de Vence. Not as pretty and not in walkable distance. Hotel is close to historical centre of Vence. Well sign posted. Hotel parking easily accessible and not expensive. Rooms: simply furnished. fair size. Bathroom: adequate. not modern but clean,with decent shower. Small lobby / reception area, small bar, breakfast good and reasonably priced, served on pleasant veranda. Garden view rooms face apartment blocks opposite with small stone pathed communal garden in between. Solarium on roof:clean green mating, sun beds + small jacuzzi in corner, towels provided.
