Hotel Anne de Bretagne - Vannes

Very noisy room over a bar, room too stuffy to leave windows closed, if open then to noisy to sleep. Reception not covered until nearly 8 am in morning. All we wanted to do was leave but could not because the reception was locked therefore could not pay or hand room key in. Had booked breakfast & decided to cancel this as just wanted to resume our travels. This was the worst night's sleep in 3 months of travelling, currently staying in a hotel in Brest for the same price and the quality of service & comfort is of a much higher standard.

Cheap, cheerfull and only a 10 minute walk from where all of the action is in the old town. I've stayed in 'better' hotels in Vannes that certainly don't offer anything like the extra facilities that their price would command and have been the same distance from the centre. I will be staying here next time.

Never again. The location wasn't bad, it's in front of the station. But it's a littel bit far from a port. After the check-out, we left my bags in the cloakroom at the hotel. And when I came back to the hotel, a staff said that he lost the kye of the cloakroom! We had to wait until he found the key and we almost missed the TGV train.
