Hotel Mare de Deu - Canovas - Valencia

There's no AC in all rooms and the fan has only one speed (too fast!!!!). So the room was a little too hot. Double beds are a little bit too small. Nice the location and the conventioned place to have breakfast (very close and cute).

We stayed 2 nights and really enjoyed it: the room was really beautiful and clean. It was not very easy to find it because there is only one small sign at the door. The breakfast was at a nice café at the Mercado Colón, it was good and delicous but not very much. The staff was friendly, sometimes had some problems with the language (Spanish), but we could understand each other. We were surprised and would recommend this hostel. Excellent value for money!

I was promised 2 towels, but I never received them. When I could find an employee, I asked him for towels. He sort of shrugged it off. Within 5 hours later, I received a single towel. The bathrooms were sort of gross. After using the shower, I noticed water had leaked out of the shower, covered the bathroom floor, and leaked under the door into the hallway. By the time I left the bathroom and returned to my bedroom, the water had leaked underneath my bedroom door. All I had to clean up was the single (used) towel. I attempted to do so as best I could.

Good accomodation and service. the room is nice. shared bathroom and room are also clean. location is convenience. price is good. recommend this hotel when you are living in Valencia.

The room was very large and spacious, smelled a lot of disinfectant and cleaning. Very good location. I did not like the strong smell of pipes and the noise from the street and the other rooms. The hotel promised us internet access around the hotel, and there was only internet in the public areas.

Do not stay here if you can't stand hearing all that is going on in the next room. You can stay here if your primary concern is cleanliness. Location is ok.

Internet does not work and they do not clean the rooms every 2 days

We had to email confirmation of check in time yet had to wait 20 minutes before someone came to check us in. Bedroom was spacious & clean. Bathroom basin had no plug & shower soaps are not provided. Unfortunately being on a corner of two streets, night noises spoilt it for us - loud people in the street, motorcycles & cars & garbage trucks clearing away bottles and rubbish bins. The area is very nice & would suit young people better than us.

Good for short stay. good for young people. I satyed for 1 night and it was perfect to spend few money. Perferct position in Valencia. Nice area. I suggest for whom are not looking 'nice hotel'. Room are simple, bath in common but you sleep well and you are ready to start Valencia visit on walk.

Bedrooms are great! and it is so so clean (the bathroom too!)that for me is one of the things more important! I would choose it again!
