The only complaint I have was that there were some rowdy clients on our floor. I already suggested that the hotel should employ a night security goining round the floors. It is not fair on the hotel and its clients to have these kind of people in the hotel.

This hotel is a real steal for the price. It is a large, older hotel of which there are many in Valencia. I wouldn't recommend that you go to Valencia, as it's pretty much a jumble of mismatched architecture and modern sprawl. But if you do find yourself there for some reason, this place will work. The pool is large and there is a little bar/restaurant below it. It's a 20 minute walk to the old town. The hotel is located on a busy highway that circles the town, which is not a great location. The room was very clean, though a bit worn and dated. WiFi use is 8 Euros for a 24 hour period. The staff was very helpful and friendly, like everyone in Valencia.

Great hotel for short or long stays. The staff is very friendly, helpful and multilingual. The rooms are comfortable, clean, quiet and enough spacious. The hotel is just above the metro station and is 15 minutes walk from the historic center. Behind the hotel there is a shopping center with bars, restaurants and fast food. I highly recommend the accommodation at this property to spend some days in this wonderful city.

The location is the best thing about this hotel. It's near the Park and the dried bed of the Turia. The big store, El Corte Ingles is on both sides of the hotel, so it's convenient if you need to get water or grocery or something. (The bottles of water the hotel boasted of is NEVER enough for one person. And the tap water smells of chlorine so it's not drinkable.)There's a small fridge in the room. There are bus and metro stops nearby. But the hotel is a pop venue for groups so it can be VERY crowded at times. The staff is helpful when they can speak English or French. Some of them cannot. Most speak only Spanish and so reluctant to communicate with non-Spanish speaking visitors. The room is ok, not too small, but they should have a smaller coffee table and coffee-making facilities in the room. Also when there are two guests in the room, they should give two key cards--which does not cost them anything. The air-con doesn't work well when the weather is real warm. So the room temperature is very warm. It will be real hot in the summer. They should also provide other small services, like stamps, because most offices in town do not speak anything except Spanish, so even a simple thing as buying stamps at the post office is impossible. All the signs in town are in Spanish and you do not know which button to push for the service you want if you cannot read Spanish. Although we know a little Spanish, it still did not help much. At this price on Venere, breakfast should be provided. Other tourists paying the same price did not have to pay extra for breakfast. So with breakfast, we paid Euro 70 a night--which is too much for a city like Valencia. When the hotel is crowded with group tours, the breakfast disappeared rapidly. We have stayed in many hotels in many countries, we would say the price is too much if you compared to German hotels. We just came from Heidelberg, where we paid only 72 a night with breakfast, and a bigger and better-equippe

For the price I paid, I expected something much better. My biggest complaint is that the walls between rooms are paper thin and, although I had requested a quiet room, my first room was facing a very noisy street (this was changed by a helpful and efficient member of reception staff). The food, however, although not cheap, was excellent - the best hotel breakfasts I have ever had, and my best evening meal in Valencia was the one I had in the hotel. The location of the hotel is good but it has seen better days. My two rooms were tatty.

This is a large hotel geared to congresses and the like. The public areas are aging a little and are rather seventies in style, but the staff are professional and cordial. Excellent hotel to stay in when visiting Valencia. Very short distance to the metro. About half an hour walking to the center of the old town. It became a sport finding the shortest route to walk. It was not much longer than taking the metro, cause the metro didn't go into the very center, Plaza de Reina. The hotel was "unfortunately" very close to the big shopping center El Corte Ingles, where it was a lot of nice things to spend money on. The travel guide said that Valencia don't make clouds, that was correct. I read here at Venere that there was a bus going from the airport and stopped right outside the hotel, that was correct, but the bus only goes when it wants to, so we had to wait a long time. A taxi only cost about 15-16 Euro. Just book this hotel, you will never regret I think. The only negative thing was that the swimmingpool on the roof opened too late in the mornings after my opinion. Would be nice to swim before the sun got too hot.

We had great time! This hotel is in a great location. Close to everything. Metro right outside, cabs wait infront of the hotels (and are pretty cheap), close walk to old town, easy to find. Perfect! The rooms are much more spacious than any other European hotel I've ever stayed in. The photos make the rooms look a bit dark and old, but this isn't the case. The beds are really confortable too. And the bathroom was huge, compaired to the normal European standard. The only photos that are a little misleading are that off the roof pool. First let me say, it's a roof pool so how can you go wrong. The pics make it look much larger than it is. It's small and not as new as it looks in the pics. It was still really nice to have and the view was great. Just below the pool is a roof top bar, which was great! The bartender was friendly and played great "beach" music. The service, overall, was friendly and efficient, without and ounce of pretention or attitude. Two things I would recommend avoiding are; in room calls (they're way overpriced as is most hotels) and breakfast. Breakfast may only be 10 euros/person, but its not worth it. It's your typical hotel buffet. Nothing special. Go into town, much better food at cheaper prices. All in all it was a great stay. Definatly book this hotel!

4 days was not long enough to spend in this beautiful city, so much to see and do. Hotel is situated on a bus route, metro right outside and across the road from the park they have made out of the old riverbed - beautiful. Unfortunately, they seem to have the kind of room doors which can only be closed with a loud bang(!) otherwise not too bad for sound. Situated alongside El Corte Ingles, there are many small bars and cafes to get snacks, etc. although the hotel offered a dinner buffet for 15 Euros. Parking was advertised at 15 Euros per day but was actually 18.50. Otherwise, everything was pretty much as specified.

First visit to Valencia. Hotel is easy to spot and stands on the main road on a large junction. It's next to the Turin metro so easy to get about - the hotel will sell you a Valencia ticket for all day metro and bus transport. Park outside and check in, then take your car to the nextdoor Les Ingles shopping centre car park, when you check out you pay the car park fee along with your accommodation bill. If you check out on a sunday the receptionist will receipt your ticket but you have to find the man in the office in the car park to authorise your ticket for exit - he is in a small office by the ramp down to the exit, sat quietly with the lights out - it took us some time to find him! Hotel was excellent, just a few noisy guests, and was very good value for money. L'oceanarium is great and can take a day to get around, the museum is like a science museum and good for kids, the hemisphere is an IMAX 3-D cinema, good if you have never seen one before. Metro closes quite early about 11.30, buses before that. We did not eat in hotel, but did find a really good cantina restaurant 5 mins away. Hope you have a good time!

I experienced some of the rudest staff at this hotel, completely unwelcoming, unhelpful and generally rude. On the upside the hotel is in a great location.

Large modern hotel. Nice rooms. Parking is in shopping centre next door and quite expensive, but plenty of it. Breakfast not included-plenty of options at shopping centre. 50m to Metro. Easy to find. They had lots of bus tour groups, so reception could be very crowded and hectic at times. Felt it was good value overall.

_________________________ The hotel is very very old, but clean. Location is not too bad... For me, the worst part is that THEY REFUSE TO SPEAK CATALAN/ VALENCIANO and they were quite rude about this (I know this will probably affect few people, but it's said). Last day I did not get my wake up call.

This hotel is an excellent choice if you are looking for an affordable, modest place to stay. The rooms were clean and functional. The roof top pool and terrace bar were an added bonus with great views over the city. The hotel is a 15 min walk to the old city, a 10 minute drive to the aiport and is located beside the central bus station and a large shopping centre. The only negative point would be the dreary hotel piano bar which could do with a revamp. Overall we would recommend this hotel.

Hotel room was clean although air conditioning was not working. Staff seemed a little stressed when booking in large groups of people. Suggest a fast queue for couples or families as only one staff member was in attendance looking after all bookings. Hotel location was just on the outskirts of town, about a 15 minute walk to the Quattro area.

Generally the poeple in Valencia are not helpful, rather rude and they won't speak English, they not even try! I suppose they wake up around the American Cup time!! My tip for the Expo Hotel is to take a room on the top floor. There we enjoyed our stay very much and we had the least problem with the noise. The hotel is on a good location and you get good value for the money value.

Judge from price itself, this is a good-buy. Parking will cost you two euro per hour at the shopping center parking. But nearby some free parking space can be found. We do not have breakfast here but a shoping mall neighborhood provide lots of thing. No hair dryer at my room.

We arrived at 9am and came back at noon. Dunno why, we had to wait for 3 hours to get a twin bedded room. Being an hotel receptionist in the past, I knew I couldn't accept it, so we had to wait another couple of hours to get a proper double room (without notice of course) Luckily, even if the person on duty that morning was quite rude, we had the support of a lady, otherwise we couldn't even get that double room. Also, to notice that the room was noisy but clean dunno why breakfast wasn't included (but still at 10€ each was a sort of bargain, so I didn't discuss) and last but not least people at the reception desk could barely speak a few words of English (which is unacceptable). Being an Italian I didn't suffer too much in speaking Spanish, or Valencian, their local language, but I can imagine trouble for travellers who cannot Speak spanish. Hotel overall 6.5 out of 10 (if we could easily forget the poor reception behavior I could say 7.5 out of ten) while Valencia overall is a great 8.5 out of 10

The best feature of the hotel for me was the location in relation to where I needed to be. It was noisy and busy but the staff were very good, including being helpful to a lone female diner. The only problem I had was not being given a no smoking room, despite requesting one.

Hotel molto grande e ben organizzato.

Hotel was fine, and the restaurant staff quite excellent. However, we found it a nightmare getting from Airport to Hotel by car , better directions would have saved us almost two hours of increasing frustration. In fact if you had good directions it would be quite easy, IF you had them.

The hotel was quite good for the price and location. Couldn't fault the metro bus from the airport which was right outside the door. My only complaint is we asked for a double bed and received two singles pushed together with single bed linen. Otherwise highly recommended!
