The crew of reception knows what Hospitality means. Perfect location in the city centre op Utrecht and 5 minutes walk from the train station. An excellent breakfast and a cozy lounge with free coffee and internet access. Nice, renovated and spacious room with a great city view.

The Appollo used to be part of the Best Western chain. Claims to be 4 star, but deserves 2 stars maximum. Facilities are basic, lots of unfinished work, and odd layout, with some rooms immediately next to the balconies of private residences next door. The shower was an unlit, dark little corner of the tiny bathroom. Also getting tired of hotels offering Wi-Fi without mentioning the Eur 17 additional cost. Great location, so a real disappointment at the lack of quality.

On my arrival there, I was informed that there was no booking from Venere. Fortunately there were available rooms! Now that I got the email from Venere to evaluate my stay there I am double surprised. I can't figure out what happened.

Venere.com does not debit your credit card for your reservations. You will be asked to insert your credit card details which will be sent to the property only as a guarantee of the reservation. The bill will then have to be settled directly at the hotel. It is not possible to cancel your reservation if you selected and booked a room indicated as "PREPAID/NOT REFUNDABLE". In this case, the total amount of your stay will be charged to your credit card by the hotel at the time of booking.

Check-in: the rooms are available at any time after 2 p.m.
Check-out: it is necessary to leave the rooms not later than midday.
INCLUDED/NOT INCLUDED IN THE PRICE
Wireless Internet access is not included in the price and costs €9,00 for 24 hours.
Use of the Internet point located in the Coffee & Internet Lounge is free of charge.
Breakfast is not included in the price and costs €17,00 per person per day. Children under 4 years of age eat free, and children between 4 and 12 years receive a 50% reduction in the price.
