If you are looking for a romantic stay in a cave house hotel, on a hill top, then Elkep Evi is exactly what you need. Our room had a great view and a large terrace, where in the silence of the night you could listen to the muezzin calling for prayer. The people at the reception were very friendly and helpful in every way. Thank you !
How to reach Hotel Elkep Evi Cave House
By bus
From Istanbul: there is an overnight bus from Istanbul to Urgup, or a bus from Ankara, which takes 4 hours. Walk to the hotel from the bus station, following the directions below.
By airplane
From Istanbul: it is a 1-hour plane ride to Kayseri Airport. From here, it is less than a 1-hour drive to Urgup.
On foot
From Urgup Town Centre: take the road to Nevsehir, turn right after the Turasan Winery, 200 yards (182 metres) up the hill and continue, bearing right, to the hotel.
