Hotel Friuli - Udine

Good if colorless hotel,reasonable breakfast, fair way from the station. Closer to historic areas.

Excellent little hotel. Great location and friendly staff. A/C wasn't working so I had to leave the windows open. It was a bit noisy.

Difficult to locate, lots of one-way streets. Free large car park. Restaurant closed Sundays

Perfect for our stay.

The hotel is well situated on the inner ring road of Udine. It was easy to find by car. There is ample parking. There is a gas station in front of the hotel, so that was convenient. The location of the hotel is a convenient, short walk into the center of Udine. It is near a couple of good restaurants. The room seemed as if there had been smokers in it and it did not smell fresh. The windows could not be opened. The décor is predominantly grey and similar colors so it seems less fresh and clean than it may have been. The room size was fine, and the bath was definitely very clean and decent size. The hotel provided the usual bath amenities and good towels. The front desk staff was a bit curt and not overly helpful. The breakfast staff was good. The breakfast was a very generous array of breads, fruits, juices, meats and cheeses and cereals. Lots of fresh coffee. Overall, the stay was fine, but I probably would try someplace else if I returned to Udine.

We spent 2 nights here as a consequence of the volcano ash ban, and the staff were very helpful and understanding. Room was a good size. Shower but no bath as is standard in Italy. triple glazed windows keep out 90% of the road noise, which is good because the road is busy and the hotel is right next to a major petrol station. howver this location makes it very easy to find. It is an easy 10 mniute walk into the beautiful city centre of Udine. Breakfast was good, with very strong coffee.

I had a room at the back and it was quiet. The bed was comfortable.The breakfast was good and the staff friendly. The hotel is near the historic centre so it was ideal to go sightseeing.
