This location is terrible for whom goes to Torino. It is at least 30 minutes walk to the city centre, the hotel is oldish. It looks like a real hotel at the entrance, but as soon as you cross the door to go to the rooms, it looks like somebody's house adapted for hotel. The view is awful in any direction: in front of the hotel there is a big horrible avenue and a gas station, and in the back you see a horrible patio, but if you go to the third floor, you can distinguish the "river" that gives the name to the hotel... among the trees. I do not recomend it to no one, unless you are extremely tolerant.

We were pleased all round with this accomodation and considered it to be very good value. Especially liked the location just outside the city centre although that was easily accessible on No 61 bus.

I was at this hotel with my family occupying a quadruple room, which was quite spacious and quiet. The hotel is somewhat old fashioned, but interior rooms are good (seem to be restored). It is well located near downtown Torino (in fact you can go there afoot beside the Po river), and in front of a square where there is a daily street market, stores, and next to a good pizzeria/restaurant. The only issue for who has a car (it was my case) is some difficulty for parking (which by the way is not easy in Torino as a whole). Overall my stay was very good.

I recommend this hotel. Nice hotel with very friendly eployees. The hotel lent me a bike (free of charge) for sightseeing. 5 min to city centre by tram. The parks near the hotel along river Po are beautiful to walk/run in.

My friend and I were very pleased with our stay. All the staff, especially Gianni, were gracious and charming. He helped us review maps and plan our days, discussed transportation on several occasions and made certain our visit was pleasant and enjoyable. The last day, he arose early to help us to our cab and to prepare coffee and croissants for us. I would gladly return. The rooms were a little worn, but very large. Traffic below was quite noisy with the windows open. The location was convenient to everything we wanted to do, surrounded by many shops, restaurants and near a weekly open air market. It was easy to walk to the center of town, but there are buses close by. The hotel is within walking distance of two train stations, but would be more easily reached by cab in about 10 minutes if one has heavy bags.

The room was clean and spacious. Perhaps could do with a bit of moderisation. Overall we found the hotel OK, nothing special though. No choice at breakfast.

very friendly helpful staff, quiet (double french windows) light and spacious room with view of hills and balcony. Only 15 mins walk from the city centre, well served by trams and buses, good restaurant nearby. No lift on the ground floor.

Off the beaten tourist path, but public transportation less than a block away makes getting around a breeze. If you don't need much assistance, and have learned a few key words and phrases in Italian, this hotel is a comparatively good value for a small "big city".
