The staff at this hotel was overall very helpful and kind to us (a group with children, a baby and LOTS of luggage). The Hotel was clean, the double beds are very big, though this makes the room feel small. The buffet breakfast offers a wide range of food. The imediate surroundings of the hotel are very calm and somewhat unremarkable, but the historical city center is eaily attainable.

Lovely, lovely just lovely. We stayed one evening in Turin. We found the hotel very close to the centre, about 1 kilometer. The room was spacious and clean. The staff was very well informed and helpful. The breakfast was beautiful. Stay here...it is worth it!

The hotel is very nice and modern but the restaurant food is awful and expensive, when we complained we were told all food is frozen. We could not even get a drink on arrival in the afternoon as we were told the bar did not open till 6pm. Would not stay there again.

Although not in the "heart of Turin," the Fortino is well-connected by the excellent public bus system. The hotel's spacious, well-appointed rooms and helpful and accommodating staff (and the best breakfasts we experienced this trip) more than made up for the location. We will definitely return and recommend.

Hotel consigliatissimo, belle stanze, personale simpatico e sorridente, ristorante curato e cucina squisita. I dintorni non sono un granchè, ma in realtà nè più nè meno che in tante altre grandi città. consigliatissimo, a torino dormo sempre qui.

The Hotel is a nice and quiet place to stay with good service and the Breakfast is above the Italian standard. The surrounding area could be better, but it is safe out there even in the night. It is out of the the city but not far, with the choice of two Buses you are fast there.

This place is very comfortable and professional. The staff speaks English and are very accomodating. We stayed two separate nights on each end of our trip, and we were grateful to come back to this hotel because it was so nice and it was affordable. The breakfast is amazing!! The downside is that it is not in a great area of town and quite a walk from many sights.

A gem. Staff was wonderful. Always doing their best to help. Front desk people made dinner reservations for us etc. Good service. Dining room staff on breakfast were terrific, also dinner. Tried very hard to please and did. Very nice people. They deserve a lot of praise. Barrista was a pro. Coffee was excellent. Only small complaint and not the hotels' fault was people hanging out in the park next to the hotel. Mild noise but a bit annoying. No trouble etc. Just people chatting, but ? Breakfast was very good. Very comfortable lobby chairs. Herald Tribune each day. Room was up to date, very pleasant and spotless. Housekeepers did a fine job. I would definitely stay here again. I will recommend as well. A real $$ value.

Hotel staff was extremely helpful and friendly. However, the facilities were run down and the internet was out of service, the heating / air conditioning was out of service, and the italian newspaper subscriptions were expired although we were able to get the IHT. The gym was closed too. All in all it gave the impression of impending financial collapse at the hotel.

The hotel is well located if you drive, a bit off the track if you are on foot. However, the excellent quality of it is worth to take taxis to downtown. The sorroundings are not very nice but does not matter at all when you reach the hotel. I would seriously recommend this hotel.

Nice hotel old style also if it's very new. Too much moquette. Big noise in the night due to the bathroom aspiration system that you cannot switch off. Good breackfast. Helpfull staff.

I paid 80€/night (b.i.) for a room wich normally would cost 150€ in average in Italy. Great quality/price ratio, very close to the downtown, easy to find parking for free in front of the hotel. Definitely excellent accommodation.
