This was my first visit to Torino and my first time staying at the Principi di Piemonte. The rooms were spacious especially the bathroom areas. The photographs on the web did not show this enough which was an even better surprise. The staff were always helpful and cheerful. I will certainly return if ever I come to Torino again.

Very comfortable suite with a fabulous view on the city (8th floor). Quiet, excellent king size bed, very good service and very good breakfast. Staff was very kind. Spa was a bit cold and gave the feeling not to be of interest for the hotel management (1cm of stagnating water on the floor of the Hamam!! that is very unpleasant)

A very nice hotel in general. Unfortunately, I encountered one serious problem - their internet connection was not functional. It was too slow to load google maps or even to open a wiki page. I tried in the middle of the night, when I was the only user - but was unable to do anything. I tried addressing the issue with the hotel stuff but, strangely, they refused to even acknowledge it. I'm not coming back until they get a better connection

The hotel is ideally located in central Turin. Once your car is parked you can visit city by walk. We had a room on 7th floor and enjoyed a fantastic view. We can't find any downside to our stay and would definetely recommend this hotel.

Excellent hotel with own character and style. Very good, modern spa. Paperwork for guests could and should be reduced. Continental breakfast (room service) not @ five-star level...for that price you don't offer two boxes of cereals but you offer a choice... In a five star hotel I would expect a brand new toilet paper roll... instead of an old one with the first sheet folded nicely...

small hotel; nice rooms, but that's what u expect according to the price; receptionist was not competent - couldn't get change immediately when I wanted to pay by cash - good location - nearby shops and restaurants and only 5 min. to the main train station - no champaign or wine in the minibar - so intotal ok for that price.

An exceptional hotel with elegant and sophisticated rooms and public spaces. The hotel has a generally helpful staff and very adequate food. It is in an excellent location for anyone wishing to see the older parts of Torino. All in all a hotel to be recommended.

My main concern was lack of a knowledgeable concierge. For instance, we wanted to rent a car. The desk clerks had no idea where a rental car place was, nor when it would be open. They thought there might be one at the train station, but after we searched fruitlessly for it, they remarked that they hadn't been really sure anyway. They finally got us a car with a driver, but were no help in finding us a self-drive car. Our visit was leisure-oriented. We intended to make Turin a base for exploring Piedmont wineries and trying the local white truffles. We learned that Turin is too big a city to use for that purpose - it takes a long time just to get out of the city itself. Alba would be much better as a base for such explorations. The other problem with Turin is that they are still operating on the old model of closing everything down for three hours in the early afternoon. This is lovely for the workers but inconvenient for tourists. The hotel itself was fine and we appreciated the free full breakfast, which seems to be becoming a thing of the past in much of Europe. The location was excellent.

The service is truly 5 stars (though the SPA was closed) and the quality of the equipment (tv, bed, sheets, door and wall thickness) also... But, we had a junior suite on the top floor and honestly the two rooms were too small. I would have found a single room in the same space much more pleasant. Also there were a few defaults (air conditionning a bit loud and impossible to stop, a smallish bit of unfinished repair work in the bathroom, a semi-blocked sink in the bathroom) that you would not expect from a five star hotel. Finally the breakfast is really nothing special except for the dishes that you can order from the chef. In conlusion, it was closer to a good 4 stars than a true 5 stars, but at 180 euros per night including breakfast for two, it remained good value for money.

Courez-y !
