Location was good for us as it was opposite (but far enough noise wise) from railway station which takes you directly to the airport. Bus stop outside took you directly into Turin and the buses ran regular, + the bus took you all the way to the stadio olimpico Torino + Juventus share stadium. Could not fault the place at all

When I decided to book this hotel, it was really important to have internet access. Not only the internet service was not allowed because technical problems, the fact was that the internet didn't work for at least one week and it seemed that there was no intention to fix it.

Very good hotel, you can say everything perfect for a good price. Just the houses around it and the street is not so beautiful, but that was not so important for me. I would come back, being in Torino another time.

The relation between quality of the service and the price is disadvantageous. the location is in a dangerous part of the city so that you are oblidge to take the taxi cab to go back to the hotel in the evening/night if you are female . the sourrender is poor and not beautiful, but at list is well connected with a bus stop and also a train station. the rooms are old and dusty and clean in a superficial way. the worse thing is the breakfast!!! there is no fresh food and only instant coffèe and cappuccino.

Good hotel. When we first arrived the AC wasn't working, but we were out and about for most of that time. Their English was okay (I speak Italian, so that wasn't a huge problem.) The breakfast was good. Would stay here again. un buon albergo.

Not well located but good bus service to centre of town. We were sent to a smoking room and then when we asked for a non smoking room, were directed to another room which had an ashtray on the bedside table. Hotel is a bit tired but I liked it. Had some character. Good car parking and internet access. The staff were happy and smiling.

Sweet clean place with helpful staff, but it's on a dodgy area. As a woman travelling alone, I didn't particularly safe going out at night. The air conditioning wasn't working for my entire stay, so the room was like an oven. On one day, the cleaning lady left the door to my room open. Fortunately, nothing was stolen from the room, but I wasn't pleased about that either.

This hotel has made a good impression on me. The only drawbacks are: the price of the car park was not displayed anywhere and the tariff for the wireless internet was not mentioned to me. Apart from that, the cleanliness and spaciousness of rooms incredible. I would definetely choose this hotel if I were to visit Torino again. Thank you.

The air conditioning in the room was very poor. There is no bar service in the breakfast room (downstairs), and cappuccino from the coffee machine leaves much to be desired.

The service was excellent and the quality of the room and facilities were as expected of a 3 star hotel. The location is north of the city centre, in a run down area near a train station. Therefore not ideal if you wish to stay within walking distance of the city centre but easily reached within 20 mins by bus. However, the quality of facilties make up for the location.

This is a good hotel for the price - we paid approx. £50 per room per night. The only trouble is the area is not that nice. There are a few people 'hanging' around. They did not cause any trouble but was slightly intimidating walking past them. While I and my boyfriend were ok I would not like my '60 something' parents to stay there and walk around the streets. The walk into the centre took about 15-20 minutes and was a nice walk along the Dora River. Alternitively you can get bus 10 or 11 right outside the hotel - or number 67 round the corner. The rooms were a decent size with nice big windows, TV, safe in the wardrobe that you don't have to pay for and a minibar. The bathroom was lovely and clean and had a shower, bidet, toilet and sink. They also supplied toiletries and nice fluffy towels. Turin itself is a good place for a short break, we had chilly weather but sunny every day. You must go on the train up the side of the mountain from Sassi to Superga - Tram 15 takes you there. It's only about 5 euros each and you get great views at the top. We visited the Egyptian museum which was good - approx 7 euros. Also you MUST go on the lift to the viewing section of the 'Mole' and have a look around the museum of cinema as well. The red tour bus was good value at 15 euros as you're ticket is valid for 24 hours and you can hop on and off whenever you like. All in all Turin is great, and the hotel was ok if you're a young crowd that don't mind a walk to the city - or get a cab or bus.

Even if the hotel surroundings are not "pretty" (also because there are some workings on the street), it is located really near to the center (you have to take only a Bus, just in front of the hotel), and it is very simple to reach by train from the airport Welcoming and quality of service is really good!

The staff at this hotel were so friendly and helpful, and while the neighborhood isn't great, it's an easy walk to Via Garibaldi. My only issue was the room smelling like smoke/air freshener when we arrived, but we aired it out, and at that price, it wasn't a big deal.

Very friendly and helpful staff. Everybody with working knowledge of English. Rooms very clean, spacious, bathroom facilities clean and in excellent order. But above all, amazing value for money. I wouldn't hesitate about returning to the hotel if it wasn't for one thing: the surrounding. Unfortunately the location doesn't belong to the most exciting ones. Petrol station, no restaurants or pubs, and some unexciting buildings etc. It is a 15 minutes' bus journey to the centre and the riverside.

Hotel President was absolutely great! We just needed a place to crash for one night before our early morning flight out of Torino, but this hotel ended up being the nicest one of our entire stay in Europe. Our room was spotlessly clean and the bathroom was very modern and spacious (compared to all the other European hotel bathrooms we had seen). The bed was very comfortable and the room was nicely decorated. The hotel was conveniently located right next to the Dora train station. It was perfect for us to get to the airport in the morning. The surrounding neighborhood didn't seem that interesting, but since the train station is right there, it would probably be quite easy to hop on the train to downtown. We were in Torino for less than 12 hours, though, so we didn't have a chance to check out any of the sights. The front desk employees were very helpful and immediately gave us a new room when we discovered that the original room had two twin beds instead of one queen like we had requested. We arrived around dinner time, so we asked for a recommendation for a good restaurant and we were told that not much was open since summer is the off season in Torino. The front desk clerk told us that our best bet would be to go to La Belle Epoque, not too far away. It turned out to be one of the best dinners that we had during our whole stay in Europe. We want to go back to Torino some day just so that we can eat at that restaurant again! We had to leave at about 5 in the morning, so we were too early to eat breakfast at the hotel, but the front desk employee offered to get us some coffee and a roll if we wanted.

The hotel and bedrooms were very well appointed, clean and maintained to a high standard with good soundproofing. There is secure car parking. The staff were courteous and helpful with good spoken English if required and no one need go hungry with the verity of food on offer at breakfast. The area around the hotel is not the most salubrious, but this is only to be expected in a commercial district adjacent to a main railway station and with good bus service. Excellent all round value.

The hotel has just been renewed. Rooms were spotless and the staff amazingly polite. Behind the hotel we were also able to park the Car in the closed hotel courtyard for no charge. It was a real plus expecially because the area is not the best one. Maybe this is the only little problem but for 54 EURO a night absolutely the best deal ever. A Bus stop is also in front of the Hotel. A would suggest also to add pictures on Venere about the Toilets which are really well designed and clean. Breakfast was also good with coffee and juice machine available to guests and great cold buffet. Robby - MODENA

This is the second time I was staying here. This time, my room was looking to the opposite side, which was a little bit louder than the previous one but still not a big problem. Now I'm 100% sure I'll allways return here when travelling to Turin (especially if I consider that the other business partners were quite unhappy with their very expensive downtown hotels).

We had a really pleasant stay here. The rooms are much bigger than ususal and we also liked the design (furnitures/carpets/...) very much. Staff was friendly and helpful all the time and it was no problem that we didn't speak Italian (in the city it's a problem even in the pedestrian zone/shopping area!!). The breakfast room is a bit cold so it's a good idea to wear warm cloths there. On foot, the city center (shops) can be reached with a 20-30 minutes walk; but if you want to get there faster there are tram/bus stops near the hotel, or you can ask for a taxi. (In the evening, it's the fastest to walk as there's a huge traffic jam in the city.)

The hotel did not appear to be in the historical centre as indicated on the web site, but in fact in one of the not very good areas of the city. The hotel is an ugly building undergoing some sort of renovation/demoliton when we were there. There was no bar, the 'restaurant' was in the basement, and the terrace - we never found that. Add to that the fact that the air conditioning wasn't working in out room on the second time we stopped there (and there was nothing that could be done - no other room available, no engineer to fix it), and a sweltering night in Turin... However, the staff were very pleasant and helpful and the breakfast was certainly adequate. Wont be going back though.

The problem with the neighborhood, while certainly not appealing, was that it was in the middle of nowhere, and by no means convenient to the train station or any of the sites in town. The hotel itself was fine, and we got great rates.

Not Nearly enough Hangers in the wardrobe only enough for a one night stay, we stayed 5 nights and there were two of us. Standard of breakfast good but please no sugar in the coffee, if we want sugar we can put it in ourselves. Supply of bed linen and towels very good. The people in the reception very good but don’t understand enough English and speak it if Torino is to become a major tourist venue. The hotel was not as central as we understood, however that is reflected in the room prices which we thought were very reasonable.
