The room smelled like a bit sulphury, perhaps from the water in the plumbing? Hard to guess where it was coming from.

While the staff was very friendly and the breakfast excellent, I found the surroundings and street noise a discomfort. Groups of men seemed to gather at night in the side street below the hotel windows.

Excellent service! Great stay! I would recommend Hotel Nizza to everyone. Very clean and spacious rooms, the bathroom was very nice, the bed is probably on the hard side but we had no problem with that. The breakfast was pretty good also: pastries, cold meats and cheese, cereal, wonderful italian coffee, tea, milk, juices, hard boiled eggs, fresh fruit. The manager, I think he's name was Paolo was very attentive and helpful. Try the little restaurant behind the hotel, some place called "Felice' or something like that, the locals go there, the food and price are reasonable, however, don't get gnocchi there.

Hotel Nizza was a great stay for me. After a week of travel for work, it was nice to come back to a clean, quiet, competent hotel room that is right across the street from the train station. Great place, I'd recommend it to anyone looking for a good price with a good location and great amenities. Ottimo.

The staff were very friendly and courteous, especially Paolo. The cleaniness of the hotel was excellent. In the bar you can have the best hot chocolate and cappuccino. The location is very central, near to the main shopping areas, art, business, gourmet and transportation. I would definetely book this hotel again.Highly recommend.

The hotel was clean, conveniently located, great breakfast and the guy who runs the place is an absolute crack up. The room was huge and everything was as expected. The area is very dodgy buy I knew it would be but the hotel was like a little oasis in the dodgy area. All good!

Older hotel with great staff. Good breakfast. Location is a bit seedy but we liked it because it was very close to the train station. Short walking distance to the main downtown shopping district.

Very good value for money. Location is very central, even if the area is a little strange night time. Staff very helpful and friendly, even if they did not speak English very well. They could be percieved as a little "difficult", but it is only a communication issue. Included breakfast was good too, and staff made some great Espressos and Cappuccinos. Higly recommended!

This hotel is worth the price (60€/night during august) but you should not pay more (during season), 80€ should be the max. The surrounding area near the central station is not very clean, prostitution in the gallery leading to the hotel. The free parking correspond to 4/5 places along one side of the hotel. The hotel has been completely renewed. Our room was very quiet. People are very friendly and welcoming.

My son and Ia were given an upgrade to a corner room on our arrival at 9:00 p.m. The next morning, we came down for breakfast just after it was closed, and our host made us delicious cappuccino and offered us chocolate croissants and yogurt. Very gracious!

Hotel Nizza was very moderately priced for the accomodations. The hotel recently went under renovations and our bathroom was amazing. The brand new shower had various water options, sort of like a car wash! It had a water fall, jets, and multi-stream shower head. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. The only issue was the immediate surrounding area, perhaps only a street or two, were a little sketchy. Other than that the location is close to most of the Turin sites.

Our stay in the Hotel Nizza was a most pleasant one; the atmosphere was friendly and cordual and the staff went out of their way to make sure that all our needs were met at any time. This Hotel will most certainly be my choice when I next visit Torino.

A nice hotel in an unfortunate area, lots of late night activity therefore noisy but not the fault of the hotel obviously. I did not feel particularly safe returning late at night because of the people on the streets and near the railway station.

We only stayed at the hotel for one night, which is why we picked nizza, which is literally right acrosss the street from the turin train station. very convenient location, surprisingly not loud at night, spacious room with everything we needed, even a decent mattress! largest downside -- the staff simply does not speak english. they were very cheerful and friendly, but there were a few misunderstandings due to the language gap.

Cheap hotel in bad area around railway station. I have been ringing the doorbell for over an hour before the guy opened the door with a grumpey face, blaming me for ringing the doorbell so long in the middle of the night. (I specifically asked if they had 24-hr reception...)

The hotel is very easy to reach either from train (because is located close to the rail way stations) or by plane. It is very close (less than 100 meters) from the last stop of the shutle buss from the Airpor to Torino. The hotel is located in the historic center of Torino, and it is very close to the main commercial areas, of the city, as well as to tourist attraction. The enviroment is familiar, and all the workers at the hotel (reception desk, waiter etc) are very nice and polite. You feel warm in this hotel. Our stay was half bussines, and half tourism. We were at walk distance less than 15 minutes of all the places that we need to visit either by our work, or as tourist. Brekfast it is included and it is good in quality and quantity. You can even ask for an extra capucchino, etc. The relation quality price is good and I think that this is a good choice for the cost conscious traveller. I will lodge in this hotel next time that I go to Torino.

My room was all I could ask for, small but neat, an excellent hot shower, even a balcony. But what made my stay an absolute delight was the friendly and thoroughly accomodating service lavished on me by every staff member from check in through the generous breakfast to a cheerful send off. Convenient to the train station, within easy walking distance of all sights, I would ENTHUSIASTICALLY RECOMMEND the hotel Nizza!

The entrance was occupied by dealers but inside I found a very nice familiar atmosphere in the centre of Turin. The bar and its loggia was very relaxing after a long travelling day. The room was very clean and I had the impression that it was recently renovated. However, the bathroom looked quite cheep. In total a great offer for a short trip into the heart of Turin. I enjoyed the night.

Extremely friendly staff. Breakfast fairly basic - but for clean cheapish accomodation near the centre can't be faulted. It was actually my brother who stayed - I was in a 3 star that was 30 Euros more expensive a night - and having seen both rooms, he had the better bargain!
