I stayed in this hotel for two days, I was very pleased with my choice, it's a nice hotel! The breakfast was very good, and starts at 7 am, in fact when I explained that I needed to leave at 7 am on the last morning, I was invited to come 15 minutes earlier. I will certainly return to this hotel.

I stayed in June 2009. The hotel is an easy ~ 10 min walk from the railway. The room is not airconditioned, but there is a fan. The bed was a double, even though booked as single room. The bathroom was clean, and the only hotel I came across which addressed environmental issues. There is internet access available near reception. The staff recommended 2 restaurants, one of which was a great little trattoria in the same street. The hotel is an easy walk from city sights. Breakfast was fairly simple fare, but quite adequate.

For the price and B&B is my stay with Hotel Montevecchio very good. Anyway I did not stay in the room all day long and the city offered many things.

A year after our stay, we still have fond memories of our pleasant room, the friendly and helpful staff and the well-stocked breakfast area.

Restaurant is too expensive respect to the quality of food and not all of the staff have the competence for wprking in a **** hotel.

The location of this hotel was excellent - easy walking distance to train station. However, it is quite expensive for the quality of the room - probably attributable to big city prices and excellent location.

The state of the room was disappointing. The floor was dusty and the bathroom was dingy. The toilet seat was broken and the doors on the shower would not close properly. Breakfast was poor and there was no sign of anyone around to replenish food/drink as it ran out. The choice of food was also limited. The reception staff were all very friendly and helpful. This is probably a cheap hotel but I expected slightly more for my money.

The hotel's position was good for sightseeing. The room was quite big but the bathroom was a bit seedy. Public areas were past their best but staff were courteous and friendly.

Rooms at front suffered from street-noise at night. Rooms suffered from lack of air conditioning, though there was a useful fan in the room.

The hotel is, as all hotels in the cities, hard to find cause of raodworks allover. We could park the car private, three blocks further 20 u for €10. The owner of the place is a nice person, the breakfast was minimal.

A very handy hotel close to the train station and all other links to the airport. Although neither exciting rooms nor breakfast it was adequate and made for a very pleasant stay. The area it was situated in wasn't bad either and gave a wide variety of eating places near by. The helpfulness of one of the staff in particular who spoke English was very beneficial.

The staff are very friendly and helpful, the rooms were quite big and clean but could perhaps do with a paint job. I never took the breakfast but i was told not to bother as the choice was very poor and that once an item ran out it was not replenished. The hotel is in a nice safe area with a good cafe close by. I would recommend this hotel and would stay there again.

A bit noisy as hotel is on a corner - bearable if you shut everything - this is not a problem in winter. Otherwise Very good all round and great value.

Room and bathroom dirty - especially the bathroom where an old soap was in decomposition on teh shower soap holder! Coffee cups and glasses we used for breakfast were sticky etc. Very low quality /price ratio. I would really advise against the choice of this hotel.

The hotel was ideally located and the room clean and modern, the hotel appears to have had a recent refurbishment. The only downfall was the cramped bathroom in which you had to climb over the bidet to get into the shower. Overall value for money

Overall it was a charming place to stay and most of the staff was very friendly. We were charged 2 euros more per day than promised via email and the bathrooms were not as clean as I would have liked Despite my complaints I would stay there again.

This is a wonderful hotel. Most of the staff speak English and are very helpful. The hotel is within walking distance of the city centre and is right next to the train station. There are many fine, quaint restaurants is the area and a street market two blocks south. The area is quiet at night. There was one room that was a tad noisy one of the nights, but they sounded like they were having fun, which is what vacation is all about. It was nothing that a set of earplugs didn't stop. Breakfast in a room downstairs was just enough to get me started for the day. Fruit juice, coffee (big cups!) rolls, etc. There is a book binder in the lobby; "Torino not to be missed". It is a summary of all of the tourist brochures, a great resource. For nightlife, check out Samara's Club two blocks away. This is a great hotel for the value.

Very noisy b/c several rooms on my floor were occupied by teenagers. I had to get management to quiet them down at night, and again noisy in the morning. Management should have quieted them down without my insistence. Breakfast was horrible, rolls, crackers, juice and coffee are not enough, what about some fruit and cheese?
