I think the hotel is situated in a marvellous position for access to all parts of the centre of Turin. It can suit both business people and tourists. Our room was cleaned and maintained to a perfect standard every day. Very good facilities. My wife was delighted with tea making facilities in the room, something not to be taken for granted in hotels outside Britain. Attached to the hotel there is also a reasonably priced restaurant where we had some nice pizza one evening. Le Petit really impressed me and I will not hesitate to recommend it to anybody who visits Turin.

Four nights visit to Turin and surroundings. Le Petit meets our basic needs. Located well its a good option to select. Maybe you are like me waiting some service, care-taking, breakfast not in minimum scale, some wine from mini-bar, lights for entry to room? Be sure to take woolen stockings during winter time!

We expected a higher level of cleanliness after reading reviews on various sites, but on the first morning we woke up to find ants everywhere, coming up from behind the minibar. The staff were informed and treated them with spray but they were evident again the following day. The breakfast was of poor quality , especially the coffee which was instant, and if you wanted an espresso or cappuccino you had to pay 1 euro. We went to a lovely café next door but one for a much better experience. But worst of all was the problem with the designated hotel parking. We were shown where to park, in an allocated space on a side street, but went back to the car 2 days later to find a fine (of 39 euros) for parking infringement. The hotel staff admitted they had failed to tell us we needed a 'voucher' in the windscreen and merely shrugged their shoulders and said the fine was not their responsibility. Eventually on our insistence they agreed to pay half, but we still ended up paying 20 euros for a service which was supposed to be free. After this experience, we will certainly be looking for a different hotel for our next visit to Turin.

Came to discover the city of Turin. The rooms are quite small but comfortable. Because of all the marble, sound carries greatly so noise from other guest rooms can be a problem. Rooms on the inner courtyard are preferable to ones on the street side. Contrary to previous comments concerning breakfast, I found that it was okay. I think improvements could be made to include different types of delicious breads found in Turin and a greater variety of fresh fruit.

As I participated in a music event nearby (Teatro Alfiery) all the artist stayed in th esame hotel. It was fun to see everybody in real life situation. Hotel personnel remained very discrete and trated everybody equally as just hotel guests. And of course the restoran , cafe, touristic attractions nearby, you always met somebody related to the event and smiled inside. By the way, i would loved to have a room in the hotel with a viw to the iside garden and with big balcony doors which could be wide open. Maybe next time :)

It was a very pleasant stay in Turin: the hotel was well furnished, the room wasn't too small. Even if the surroundigs were very quiet, noise came from the other rooms in the morning (alarms and hairdriers could be heard from other rooms). Personnel was very kind. Overall, I would suggest everyone coming to this hotel due to its closeness to the city centre, good hospitality and very low prices.

Very nice hotel, located in the very center of town, hence quiet. Cool design of rooms but everything needed is there. Helpful staff. Breakfast is an absolute disappointment, below any standard I've ever met in Italy. Cappuccino in plastic cups from a slotmachine such as formerly used in subway stations. Unbelievable in Italy!!!! I would return to the hotel because of the other qualities and take breakfast outside.

Hotel very well located in the center of Torino. At 5 minutes by feet from the famous market of Porta Palazzo or the Piazza San Carlo or the main railway station. However, the hotel is very quiet. If you go by car, the only problem will be to find a park, since the hotel does not have one. But if you seek a little around the hotel, you can always find a park along the streets. I recommend this hotel and I would surely return again.

We found that Le Petit is a particularly convenient hotel, situated in the city centre, with very carefully designed rooms and helpful staff. If there was some noise at daytime, this was due to construction works in one of the inner courts that evidently had to be done.

The hotel was nice, somehow they charged some washing, what I only saw later, as the bill was only shortly explained in Italian. Generally the hotel is nice and clean. For our purpose, to visit a conference more in the south of the town, itw as a bit too far north and it took some time with the public transports to get there.

Hotel very accommodating, friendly staff, no issues, slighty noisy but did not interupt sleep, you should expect noise in a city. If I go back to Turin I would stay in this hotel again.

While Hotel Le Petit certainly was centrally located, clean and affordable, I was highly disappointed with the front desk. When family and friends tried to reach me by phone, they simply said "they did not speak English" and hung up the phone several times in a row. I found the front desk not responsive to my questions in English either. This very much took away from what could have been a remarkable experience.

Very good location for historic Turin. The rooms were rather spartan but adequate. Hotel was much bigger than I imagined and had a rather dreary, institutional feel about it. The breakfast in the basement was a dismal affair..everything including coffee came out of a machine. The juice, yoghurts etc were of the cheapest variety and very synthetic. Not the best way to start the day! I can't say I would recommend the hotel but it was adequate for our needs.

Le Petit is located on a pedestrian only street. They said that they had parking available via email and when we turned up said it was full. Turin is a beautiful city with much to offer the visitor. Le Petit Hotel is well located near the centre of town, so walking to restaurants, bars, museums and historic buildings is easy. Taverna della Rose and Soto la Molle (bookings essential) are very different dining experiences, but both are highly recommended. The Egyptian Museum has the largest collection of Egyptian antiquities outside Cairo and is very well presented. Turin is also close to Asti and Alba - beautiful countryside producing fine wines and truffles.

Hotel Le Petit is preferable because it has clean and well-maintained rooms, it is close to focus points of the city such as Piazzas, Garibaldi street etc. To get to the hotel you need twety minutes walking time from any of the stations. The same is valid for Malpensa bus station. However remember that there is a taxi stop quite close to the hotel. There is a restaurant of the hotel which gives discount to customers; however it is so pricy that I did not prefer to go there. Just few steps to the Piazza Solferino there is Brek restaurant which is my favourite.

The room was adequate but totally devoid of personality, and there was a balcony that our toddler kept trying to climb over each time we opened the window for air. However, the location was central and perhaps that is what we were paying for... Somehow the Web site and comments had led me to expect something more of this hotel. It is really a business traveler's hotel, not so cozy for families or other recreational travelers.

Very impressed with the hotel, certainly lived up to expectations. Friendly helpful staff, clean and spacious room, very well located for the city centre (only 5-10 mins stroll). Would have no hesitation about staying there again.

Well situated, with good access to the public transport system. Breakfast is good. T]It took about 5 minutes of running to get hot water for shower. The shower leaked into the bathroom floor. I would stay there again.

J'ai adoré mon séjour dans cet hôtel, très propre, très accueillant. Il est très bien situé, près du centre et de la gare et dans un quartier sécuritaire.

I found the hotel staff very welcoming. Location was brilliant. Everything was walkable. Tourism office in Turin were particularly helpful. The hotel room was clean and spacious. Unfortunately the air conditioning didn't do too much to keep the room cool but I don't suppose there's much you can do about that. It was a budget hotel and we had everything we needed to make our stay fantastic. I'd highly recommend Hotel Le Petit.

A very nice, clean hotel in a great area of Torino. In step with the entire city, the hotel is gearing up for the winter 2006 Olympics hence there's a bit of construction in the courtyard which makes for the slightest bit of noise on weekdays. Otherwise it is very quiet and nice. I agree with some comments about the breakfast. The food is fine, what one would expect but the coffee out of the 'free' machine is horrid. They do offer real espresso for 1 euro. Of course, Torino has so many nice cafes, I wouldn't let Le Petit's breakfast keep you away. The rooms are wonderfully clean and comfortable and the staff very friendly.

If one is looking for a relatively inexpensive hotel in the very centre of Turin and does care quietness (=no street noise) then this place is a perfect choice. The only "noise", very nice otherwise, we could hear at night was the sound of the clock from the church tower nearby. Also the cleaness of the room and the bathroom was worth mentioning.

Very pleasant ith a French influence. There was no problem when I called to move my reservation up a day. Location near center of town was good. Excellent breakfast and staff was very helpful with any questions I had. Hotel has its own restaurant which was temporarily closed so I could not try it; it reopened on day I departed. Other good restaurants are nearby.

posizione accessibile dalla stazione e dai bus ;permanenza molto confortevole; migliorabile la colazione, come la competenza sulle informazioni su mezzi e direzioni da parte della reception.
