As I participated in a music event nearby (Teatro Alfiery) all the artist stayed in th esame hotel. It was fun to see everybody in real life situation. Hotel personnel remained very discrete and trated everybody equally as just hotel guests. And of course the restoran , cafe, touristic attractions nearby, you always met somebody related to the event and smiled inside. By the way, i would loved to have a room in the hotel with a viw to the iside garden and with big balcony doors which could be wide open. Maybe next time :)

It was a very pleasant stay in Turin: the hotel was well furnished, the room wasn't too small. Even if the surroundigs were very quiet, noise came from the other rooms in the morning (alarms and hairdriers could be heard from other rooms). Personnel was very kind. Overall, I would suggest everyone coming to this hotel due to its closeness to the city centre, good hospitality and very low prices.

I stayed at the Le Petite in Turin from 29 July to 1 August 2009. This was the nicest hotel I stayed in on my whole trip to Europe (ten days). The rooms were clean, the staff was courteous and helpful.

Very nice hotel, located in the very center of town, hence quiet. Cool design of rooms but everything needed is there. Helpful staff. Breakfast is an absolute disappointment, below any standard I've ever met in Italy. Cappuccino in plastic cups from a slotmachine such as formerly used in subway stations. Unbelievable in Italy!!!! I would return to the hotel because of the other qualities and take breakfast outside.

We thought this hotel offered great value. The room was newly refurbished & very clean & comfortable. The location was excellent as it was only minutes from the train station and also you could walk to all the main tourist sites. Staff were friendly & helpful. We highly recommend this hotel for value for money, location and great staff.

Hotel very well located in the center of Torino. At 5 minutes by feet from the famous market of Porta Palazzo or the Piazza San Carlo or the main railway station. However, the hotel is very quiet. If you go by car, the only problem will be to find a park, since the hotel does not have one. But if you seek a little around the hotel, you can always find a park along the streets. I recommend this hotel and I would surely return again.

We found that Le Petit is a particularly convenient hotel, situated in the city centre, with very carefully designed rooms and helpful staff. If there was some noise at daytime, this was due to construction works in one of the inner courts that evidently had to be done.

The hotel was nice, somehow they charged some washing, what I only saw later, as the bill was only shortly explained in Italian. Generally the hotel is nice and clean. For our purpose, to visit a conference more in the south of the town, itw as a bit too far north and it took some time with the public transports to get there.

A great place to stay for a few days, 10 mins maximum stroll to the centre of town. Breakfast is the normal bland experience, ok if you want a lot of bread & Jam. Hotel very accommodating, friendly staff, no issues, slighty noisy but did not interupt sleep, you should expect noise in a city. If I go back to Turin I would stay in this hotel again.

While Hotel Le Petit certainly was centrally located, clean and affordable, I was highly disappointed with the front desk. When family and friends tried to reach me by phone, they simply said "they did not speak English" and hung up the phone several times in a row. I found the front desk not responsive to my questions in English either. This very much took away from what could have been a remarkable experience.

Overall it was a nice hotel, I had a single room which was adequate, but on the small side. Every day except the last day the person at the front desk spoke English but the man the last day refused to even try to communicate with me until I spoke to him in Italian. Excellent location for walking around the city, very close to many shops and restaurants.

Very good location for historic Turin. The rooms were rather spartan but adequate. Hotel was much bigger than I imagined and had a rather dreary, institutional feel about it. The breakfast in the basement was a dismal affair..everything including coffee came out of a machine. The juice, yoghurts etc were of the cheapest variety and very synthetic. Not the best way to start the day! I can't say I would recommend the hotel but it was adequate for our needs.

Le Petit is located on a pedestrian only street. They said that they had parking available via email and when we turned up said it was full. My husband then spent 1 hour trying to find some secure parking which was in a huge parking space beneath the city centre. Otherwise great location in a great city. Turin is not used to many tourists so not many speak english. Breakfast was a bit pour. Otherwise clean hotel.

Turin is a beautiful city with much to offer the visitor. Le Petit Hotel is well located near the centre of town, so walking to restaurants, bars, museums and historic buildings is easy. Taverna della Rose and Soto la Molle (bookings essential) are very different dining experiences, but both are highly recommended. The Egyptian Museum has the largest collection of Egyptian antiquities outside Cairo and is very well presented. Turin is also close to Asti and Alba - beautiful countryside producing fine wines and truffles.

Hotel Le Petit is preferable because it has clean and well-maintained rooms, it is close to focus points of the city such as Piazzas, Garibaldi street etc. To get to the hotel you need twety minutes walking time from any of the stations. The same is valid for Malpensa bus station. However remember that there is a taxi stop quite close to the hotel. There is a restaurant of the hotel which gives discount to customers; however it is so pricy that I did not prefer to go there. Just few steps to the Piazza Solferino there is Brek restaurant which is my favourite.

English: Very nice hotel at a great value for money (we paid 80E for a double). Great position in city center Turin, rooms with windows on internal courtyard, very silent, definitely to be recommended. Bad point: breakfast is poor (but there are great cafes nearby). I stayed at this hotel for a long weekend vacation in August 2007 . I had a single room at the front of the property . The room was spacious , clean & well appointed. Room was a little noisy from street traffic & the hotel restaurant but that is to be expected in a city center location . Location was excellent for viewing the city & for shopping. The staff were friendly , charming and very helpful . I enjoyed my stay & think the hotel is good value for money.

Good location near main squares ect. They have free parking for three cars. Go to their restaurant for a good meal and service and 15% off the total bill. Room 418 is facing the courtyard but the aircon is very noisy! I would recommend 414 because aircon is quiet and street below isnt too noisy (even on world cup final night!). Staff were friendly and helped us translate when our hire car broke down outside the hotel. Overall its great value.

We were traveling with a small child, and the hard tile floors in the room were not toddler-friendly. Also the floor was not clean when we arrived (I think they vacuumed but did not mop it). The room was adequate but totally devoid of personality, and there was a balcony that our toddler kept trying to climb over each time we opened the window for air. However, the location was central and perhaps that is what we were paying for... Somehow the Web site and comments had led me to expect something more of this hotel. It is really a business traveler's hotel, not so cozy for families or other recreational travelers.

A very nice, clean hotel in a great area of Torino. In step with the entire city, the hotel is gearing up for the winter 2006 Olympics hence there's a bit of construction in the courtyard which makes for the slightest bit of noise on weekdays. Otherwise it is very quiet and nice. I agree with some comments about the breakfast. The food is fine, what one would expect but the coffee out of the 'free' machine is horrid. They do offer real espresso for 1 euro. Of course, Torino has so many nice cafes, I wouldn't let Le Petit's breakfast keep you away. If one is looking for a relatively inexpensive hotel in the very centre of Turin and does care quietness (=no street noise) then this place is a perfect choice. The only "noise", very nice otherwise, we could hear at night was the sound of the clock from the church tower nearby. Also the cleaness of the room and the bathroom was worth mentioning.

When we arrived we discovered that the heating in our room did not work. We asked if we could change rooms but were told that someone would fix it. When we got back after a fun night out we found the room was FREEZING and this time they let us change room, so we had to shift our luggage whilst quite drunk at 3 o'clock in the morning!! The breakfast in the hotel was terrible. Coffee was from a vending machine. Food consisted of hard bread rolls, processed cheese triangles, crackers and unpleasant yoghurt. We were offered a total discount of 10 Euros for our troubles (room rate was 90 Euros) and a box of chocolates. The hotel was in a good location, very clean and very quiet. I can only suggest you this nice hotel if you are planning a vacation in Turin: it is clean, very comfortable, quiet, and right in the centre of the city, just a couple of minutes from piazza Castello, and the Egyptian Museum. It also has many bus/tram stops near, so you will be able to move quickly both to the south (to go, for instance, to Stupinigi or Lingotto) as well as to the north (e.g. to go to Superga). Finally is has many restaurants in the nearby with good low-price menus. What do you what more?

Le Petit was very easy to find, even walking at night from the train station. Most of the reception clerks did not speak much English but we were able to get directions to a nearby cafe for a late dinner. We referred some travellers to Let Petit even while we were still in Italy and would definitely stay there again.

Reception staff were very welcoming and efficient on our arrival. Our three rooms were available immediately and were clean and well presented. The hotel is an a great position just off via Garibaldi. It is easily accessible by foot from where the airport bus drops you off by the main train station. Perhaps a 10-15min walk depending on luggage. It is handy for the central sites, being within walking distance of Piazza Castello, via Roma, etc. and about 10 minutes walk to the bus stop to get to Stadio della Alpi. Based on reviews I had read, I requested rooms on the courtyard side of the hotel. There was some building work being carried out in the courtyard during our stay. This wasn't really a problem as it wasn't too noisy so long as the double glazed windows were closed. It didn't start too early or finish too late so unless you're planning to stay in your room all day with the doors and windows open it shouldn't trouble you. If you think it may be an issue it might be worth checking with the hotel if the work has been completed. We had no major problems during our stay. The staff were helpful when required (opening the door to let us in at 0530 after White Night without complaint, one room key locked in a room) and approachable and friendly throughout our stay. I would definitely recommend this hotel to others visiting Turin.

The location and the room were excellent. Twice we returned to the room earlier than "end of day" only to find that the electricity had been turned off. Very well situated and well-run small hotel. Next time, we would definitely ask for an interior room (i.e. opening on to the courtyard). Our room looked on to the street, and, although double-glazed, we still had some (though by no means intolerable) traffic noise. etc. We visited during a heatwave, so the choice was between opening the windows and running the air conditioning continuously. The latter was the better option and you eventually got used to the hum. The facilities were good. Previous reviewers had suggested that the breakfasts were disappointing or inadequate. We found them of a high standard and, since they were self-service, you could have as much (or as little) as you wished. The staff were friendly and helpful and we would recommend Le Petit as a very well located, good standard three-star hotel.
