The directions from Porto Nuova are a bit strange, and it's a bit of a haul in the heat with luggage. Information as to what bus to take would have been useful. The room was pretty bare-bones - no A/C, no safe, but adequate & the staff was very friendly even though they didn't speak much Italian. One man at the front desk spoke Spanish & we got by on that. Internet costs, but they give you 15 minutes for free, which was great to just load email & check a couple of things on the web.

Ottimo servizio, personale gentile e disponibile:hotel consigliatissimo soprattutto per chi deve muoversi nella zona centrale di torino..oppure per chi vi si reca per assistere a manifestazioni sportive (lo stadio è praticamente attaccato)!

Overall we enjoyed our stay and would recommend it to others due to the price and service we received. The Staff were very friendly and there is always somebody there 24 hours a day on the reception if you come back late or need anything. We had booked a double bed but the day before we were told we would have to have a twin room for a couple of days. This was sorted on the second day. The rooms are cleaned and changed everyday which I found surprising as having stayed in other two stared accommodations it didn't happen there so I was very happy. The lift was noisy when in operation and could be heard from the room but this wasn't a big problem. The location was quiet and about a 15 minute walk to the train station. The area around the train station which we first used to walk through as a short cut and the shortest route seemed a little scary at times so we started walking along the main road then straight up via Madama Cristina instead and felt safer. We never had a problem with either route we changed routes as at times there were a lot of strange men at near the train station area. The room was a little cold at times with the heating coming on twice a day but extra blankets are provided and it was the end of December! I think this was mainly due to the tiled floors. Breakfast was of continental style and enjoyable. There's not much to do around the hotel although parco del valentino is within 5 minutes walk and you can be in the centre within 20 minutes walk. If coming back to Torino I would be happy to stay here again.

Little bit far away from the station, not to be reccomended to the people with heavy luggage. The surroundings are quite living area and I like it. The property itself is clean and nice. The receptionists are friendly.

The hotel is very clean and located in a quiet neighbourgood. Because of the advice on venere.com, I stayed in a room away from the elevator so it was very quite. The breakfast and the view from the hotel is nothing spectacular. The neighbourhood is supposed to be not so safe, according to some site but if you walk on the main streets, I felt safe. At night, there isn't much to do around but the public transport bus 18 runs often (until 22:00 or so).

The hotel is clean and pleasant. However nowhere near the train station and as someone who always walks to hotels, quite inconviniently located. Also about a 20minute walk to the city centre. I only wanted a one night stopover before catching a flight to London and would not recommend. Also hard to get to airport. Ended up paying over 35euros, more than the cost of my flight! Was also there on a Sunday when the city is like a ghost town.

The hotel room are really clean, the people are nice, the basic problem is that is a 15 minutes walk from porta nouva train station, with lugagge is a real problem, and there is no way to get a bus to the hotel, unless you know the area, the hotel charge you for the use of internet, does not have a shuttle. I would be back to the hotel, as soon as you learn about the bus system is an excellent hotel to stay.

The hotel is not far away from the railway station(1-2km) and near all means of transport. For the price that they offer, quality is rather high. Rooms are very clean, service is very good.

My room was next to the elevator, so that was a little annoying. The power went out the first night I was there for a whole 5 minutes. The people are nice, but a bit cold. The most annoying thing was that there's really nothing much around the hotel. I wanted to find a place to eat something quick for dinner since I was alone, but I didn't see anything. The hotel is good all in all, but the surroundings aren't.

The day I was robbed in the street, losing my passport and money and missing my flight. They co-operated with a relative of mine based in Italy in advancing me enough cash for another night and my fare home. If this isn't outstanding service I don't know what is.

The Eden is a more than acceptable place to stay in Turin. The rooms are very clean and of a good size. The hotel is close to bus and tram route 64 which gets you to the main attractions in the city centre. It is a bit far to walk from the central train station. The staff are knowledgeable and recommended a very nice restuarant to us.
