This hotel was conveniently located near the metro and buses--yet also a short distance from the Porta Nuova train station. It was just enough of a walk to be convenient, yet removed from the noise and other unwanted features. The staff are the nicest family and were excellent in making their guests feel welcome, at-ease, assisting with any travel problems which arose during the stay. The breakfast is also a nice feature, as is the lounge area. Very pleased and will certainly stay again for future visits to Torino.

We booked and got confirmed from the hotel car parking. When we arrived there was no free parking as the hotel only have two slots in the street outside the hotel. We had a lot of quarrel and fuss before we could park in one of them. Fire escapes in our floor was partly blocked by stuff in the small room we had to pass into the back-stair. We had to move the stuff. No other stairs down, only the elevator. The rest of the experience was very good.

This Hotel has a very elegant oldfashion atmosphere wich recalls the Torino of the end of XIX century. The staff is very kind and exhibits a politness which is not only formal.

Comfortable and interesting room with character and welcoming after a long day walking Turin. Good bar/public area but could have had a better selection of beers (non from Italy). very good breakfast. Friendly staff and owner very helpfull. Short visit to Turin to see the city - overall a very pleasant stay.

No hay ascensor. Desayuno pobre y empaquetado. Si toca la planta baja (recepción), muy ruidoso. Without lift. Poor breakfast (packet). Noisy room near hall (reception).

Hotel is all 2nd floor and above so a bit difficult to spot from the street. Very good accommodation and service. Noisy and unsightly construction works outside for 2006 Olympics - it'll be much better when they're finished (and the outside view becomes as shown on the internet picture again).

Excellent hôtel, très beau avec un accueil excellent. Un seul petit problème : en sortant de l'ascenseur au niveau 4, il y a une dénivellation totalement invisible en raison de la disposition des moquettes. Cela nous a valu une lourde chute au premier passage !

I would definitely stay at the Conte Biancomano again. The map I had was in the Rough Guides travel companion and it was wrong. After an hour of wandering around I went back to the station to get a taxi! Throughout my stay, the staff, all of whom spoke English, were very helpful and friendly.

Close to train station, center of town. A bit noisy due to heavy construction downtown (New Metro for 2006 Olympics) Very nice building interior, Beautiful!

The rooms provided initially were very noisy and not very comfortable (old bed and furniture). After complaining, we were moved to other side of hotel which were much nicer rooms and quiet. However, the cost was quite a lot more as these were better rooms. I think the price for the first rooms was OK but I would have liked a choice of rooms for different prices or an option for road side/ back etc.

Major restoration works taking place at the hotel. One was not informed of this at the time of booking. No bar, no restaurant, no services at all. Will not stay at this hotel again, even after completion of restauration.

Near the train station, and it's on the second floor of apartment. Bad point: Drainage is not good, so I can't turn the shower full off. Good point: Staff is very friendly and good English, Room is clean and spacious, and Breakfast is good (croissant and cappucino is better than other hotels in my travel). Anyway it's little expensive for me, because I could stay same class hotel in Milan with more inexpensive price.

Bathroom on small size and shower below modern standards. Minibar missing from room (not required by us). No radio in room as claimed. Breakfast room not quite big enough for number of guests in hotel and breakfast unimaginative, (could be better quality fruit juices). Location really good and staff friendly. Decoration good and beds comfortable. We would recommend it.

This was an absolutely delightful hotel. The staff and management were charming and helpful, the breakfast was terrific and the public spaces in the hotel were beautiful. I would recommend this hotel to anybody and certainly stay there again. Your website should indicate that it is on the second floor of the building, however.

The hotel is comfortable and conveniently located for the city centre. We had a back room but I imagine that a room facing the front might be noisy. The hotel was advertised as having car parking which was why I chose it but in fact there is only one car parking space!
