The hotel is nice, the breakfast was not good at all.. But the room is wonderful. First, we booked a normal double, but when we arrived and saw it we changed our opinion in favour of a deluxe double. The difference of the price is almost nothing but the quality is totally different, plus you have the shower in the room and a cosy atmosphere inside. The center of the city is quite far from the hotel, we walked around 45 min to get back by foot. But during the daytime there are trams and buses, so no problem. I recommend this hotel as quality/price is very good for the deluxe rooms.

Bonne adresse, à recommander même si l'hôtel est un peu éloigné du centre. Personnel très aimable et compétent, chambre agréable et propre.

The hotel is very good. We had great service with the parking of our car. The hotel is located pretty far from the center. You really need public transport and taxis at night. The breakfast is as all Italian breakfasts of a medium level. Good coffee however.

The reception area is very basic therefore the room came as a nice surprise as it was spacious, modern, neat and tidy. Could do with "Do not disturb" signs for the door. Walls are pretty thin - could hear everything, and I mean EVERYTHING going on in the room next door. Breakfast pretty basic. Great kebab shop around the corner with fabulous staff!

Very good relation between quality/price. Near means of transport. Not for finicky people.

There are three places I would personally recommend, that is the National Cinema Museum with the panaromic lift. The superga tram into the mountains and the Medieval Castle next to the river PO in Valentino Park. A word of advice, learn some Italian or take a phrase book. Very little english is spoken throughout.

The breakfast was very poor (0 points): bad coffee, bad bread - the worst breakfast I have ever had in Italy! The rooms are quite noisy. You need to take the tram to get into the center of the city (2 km). The tram is close to the hotel. Otherwise the hotel is ok and overall, I enjoyed my stay.

Nice hotel, but a bit of a walk to the central attractions. The guy on the front desk was lovely, but the rooms were average at best. Fluorescent lights, linoleum flooring, etc.. bit tacky.

We are 2 french travel agents and we do know lots of hotels in Italy. The campidoglio hotel is very nice, quiet well situated (easy access to downtown 20 minutes walk or 10 by bus next to the hotel), the superior rooms are totaly renovated. Very clean, staff very helpful, the relationship bewteen price & quality is excellent. Breakfast ok.We advice it to all people (be careful, not very easy to park if visiting by car). But ok with SADEM buses to airport (45 minutes). Not expensive at all for Italy.

What a pleasant suprise. Aside from the bathroom being down the hall (still a nice bathroom) and the so-so but not bad neighborhood, there was an excellent staff and the rooms were darling. I would stay again. Prices were bad, I asume, because of the Olympics.
