Access to the hotel is by lift. Car parking in the near vicinity is not easy to find, so advance booking for a car space at the hotel is a good idea. The sights of the city are within easy walking distance of the hotel. Staff were helpful and efficient.

The woman at the reception on may the 10th PM was really unpleasant. She bawled to us because we didn't close correctly the door of the lift. No smile, no welcome. The day after, she kept her dragon attitude.

Excellent small hotel in ideal location, close to the Piazza Vittorio Veneto, where there are restaurants, cafes, shops etc as well as being a central point for buses, trams to all over the city. If you want a posh hotel with all the frills, this is not it, but it is my ideal sort - simple, spotlessly clean, with friendly personal service. I would certainly stay here again.

I enjoyed my staying in this hotel, the staff was very friendly and flexible, when I asked for another room without noices from the street they changed immediately. Everthing very clean and familiar atmospher. Very small single rooms but equiped with everything you need.

Excellent base for exploring Turin being just off the piazza Vittorio Veneto. All hotel staff were extremely helpful and courteous. Their recommendations for local restaurants were perfect. Rooms were exactly what you would expect but nice and clean and well supplied. Tip for Turin - buy the all-in pass to cover public transport and all museums. We used the 3-day pass for €25 which proved very good value.

Our room was good-sized, the bathroom modern. The internet was free (via cable). The staff is the best I've encountered. The parking was 15 euros/night (comparable to prices in other cities).

Very convenient hotel for piazza vittorio veneto, via po, main museums, arcades shops and cafes. Close to river too. bit of noise from a club one night but apart from that very quiet. big room and excellent bathroom. breakfast was fine but save yourself for famous pastries in cafes, also the very generous 'buffets' with cocktails at night. Restaurants take a bit of finding.

The location of the Alpi made using the bus/tram system very easy so access to other city regions of Torino was not a problem. Excellent dining was within easy walking distance (Piazza Veneto). The breakfast provided was also excellent and very filling. My husband and I will return again next year.

The hotel is not that well indicated and the lobby is located on the 3rd floor. I remembered that the lobby was not at ground level but I thought it was one or two floors up. There is no sign stating to walk up or take the lift up to the 3rd floor for hotel reception. After looking around and running up a couple of flights of stairs with no success I returned to my car which was illegally parked on a fairly busy downtown street. Then the receptionist on duty came out, asking me what I was doing and berated me for not knowing that the lobby was located on the third floor! She was not very welcoming! Later in the visit she told me we could stay a little past check-in then a little while later told us it was not possible, after we had already made our plans! The rooms were very clean, but my room had a terrible odour - like of urine or sewage. I could not locate the source of the smell - I checked the linens and the bathroom and everything smelt fresh and clean. My daughters' room was fine, but located over a drinking establishment and they found it noisy when they were trying to go to bed. Breakfast was very decent. Location was good.

Excellent location and rooms for the price. Breakfast was typical for European hotels, but had pretty good selection including coffee to order. Staff were all friendly and helpful. Rooms are clean and perfectly furnished. I traveled with my 7 year old and my elderly, yet mobile, parents, and no problems. Room was a bit small, but I didn't expect to do anything more than rest and plan the days activities and it was perfect for that. Great location within a short (2-3 mins) walk to major bus and tram lines which can take you to all of the sights. Also an easy walk (10-15 mins) to the major sights in the city center. Food was within 5 minutes walking distance. Overall an excellent stay, and I would definitely stay there again if I go back to Torino.

A slightly off-putting approach to the hotel via the ancient lift to the third floor! However, the hotel is well situated, close to the historic centre of Turin, and is good value. The breakfast was perfectly adequate and the staff were helpful in giving us directions to places of interest, advice on transport etc.

This is definitely a 3-star hotel, not a "4-star hotel masquerading as a 3-star hotel." As long as the traveler is clear about this, he will be extremely satisfied. The staff is friendly, competent, generous and always available. The location is great, near Piazza Vittorio Veneto. The rooms are kept clean and any problems are immediately addressed. Highly recommended!

My wife & I had a very pleasant stay at the hotel. The hotel is 2 mins away from Piazza V. Veneto from where public transport is available to almost anywhere in Torino, and is within walking distance from the heart of the city, Piazza Castello. Very good breakfast, the coffee is lovely and the lady serving breakfast is very helpful. Room and bathroom extremely clean. Must be a very popular hotel as we spent 7 nights and it was always full.

The hotel has private parking but fills up fast. There is underground paid parking within a five minute walk from the hotel. Other than that, no real complains. We enjoyed our stay. Turin is a beautiful city and we would definitely recommend this hotel.

The Hotel Alpi Resort is great value for money. Entrance is a little strange with access to Reception being by lift to the third floor. However, the guest rooms have quality furnishing and up-to-date modern shower rooms (with hair-dryer and heated towel rails) There are items more normally found in 4 Star hotel e.g. slippers, minibar and state of the art air- conditioning and central heating. Staff are friendly and very helpful with the exception of the young lady in the breakfast room who was miserable and disinterested. I would certainly stay at the Alpi Resort again and would recommend it to travellers looking for quality and value for money.

The staff were particularly helpful in getting our rooms ready early and making us a cup of coffee while we waited. They provided a good range of toiletries and nice buffett breakfast. Great value and comfortable with view over Po etc Rooms fine but shower a trifle cramped. Staff helpful and breakfast good with decent coffee (ristretto for me & long black for wife). Location good - albeit nightclub in close proximity can be noisy over weekend. Possible disadvantage for some travellers is that hotel a few floors up and lift is small if you have bags. Amenities good including provision of newspapers and communal lounge - as well as reception.

Hotel was exactly as described on the Web page. Sparkling clean, personnel very competent and very friendly, always ready with advice. The fact that the reception is on the third floor, although disconcerting at first, is not a problem, the elevator is always available. Hotel is very well located, close to the Po, and near the main streets - easy walk to the shops. Would return there if going back to Torino.

An excellent hotel for the price (70 EUR for double bedroom - but as I understand the price is usually twice that). Wonderful location - as central as it can get, yet perfectly quiet. Spacious bedroom. Private parking for a surcharge. Good service. Breakfast could be improved with a greater variety of cheeses, meats, confitures - this is Piedmont after all.

It is important to note that this is primarily a hotel for business travelers. There are no real amenities other than your room and an ok breakfast and a very efficient staff. It is located on the third floor of a centrally located residential building, so if you're used to a regular hotel, you'll be put off at first. It is definitely worth the $$$ if you don't plan on hanging around the hotel other than to sleep and catch a quick morning bite. Parking is nearby.

Lovely, charming, old fashioned hotel (not at all decadent!), located in a quiet street close to Vittorio Veneto Square, one of the city most agreable places, pointed out with restaurants, bars, cafes and shops. The square is across the bridge over Po River, and provides easy transportation to any part of the city. The property is at walk distance of the historical center (palaces) os the city, as well as of famous Mole Antonielana. The building preserves an old style (including the elevator, with its manual closing door), while the interior areas provide all confort and cleanliness one can expect. Easily reachable from the train station with bus line 61. There's a travel agency across the street where you can buy trains tickets. Surprisinly spacious (even single) rooms. Very friendly staff. Wouldn't even think of staying somehere else if I'm ever back to Turin. Already recommended the hotel for a couple of friends who are going to Italy this year. Very good quality/price relation.

This hotel is located on a side street to Piazza Vittorio, which is one of the most beautiful and happening piazzas in Turin. The location could not be better. I had a single room with bath for 50-54 Euro. The room was clean and spacious. The only issue I had was it was located next to the breakfast area upstairs, and the espresso machine is loud, but I was waking up at 6:00 am because of my jetlag anyway, so that was not an issue. One advice: To get from Porta Nuova to the Hotel, take Tram or Bus 61. I don't know why it doesn't say so anywhere here and it would have saved me a lot of walking.

The owner (?), the woman at the front desk, was one of the most helpful and sweet staff we've ever encountered in an Italian hotel! The free wireless internet was an unusual extra. The breakfast was generous, the room a nice size, with a lovely lounge area just outside it. The only problem we suggest she try to fix was the plumbing: the water varied between cold and scalding during the shower, and this was extremely uncomfortable not to mention dangerous. Also, the water pressure was poor most of the time in the shower.

The room of our friends wasnt that good - as it said in the hoteldescription "whirlpool" they expected one as well but there was none. The hotel should change that. It would be difficult to better the location of Alpi Resort: you have the city within easy reach, with one of the main squares just around the corner, and plenty of cafes etc. Also, however, not mentioned in the publicity is the equally appealing green panorama offered by the river and the hills behind the mausoleum, these views within a minute's walk. We shall definitely re-visit... we loved Turin and the Alpi Resort.

A great hotel right in the heart of the city. We received a very friendly and helpful welcome (the people at reception were very helpful throughout our stay), the lady was able to explain the parking in the city. (The hotel does have a car park, but you have to request it in advance, which we hadn't realised. However, there is parking in the surrounding area.) The room was very nice, quite spacious with a nice bathroom and wasn't noisy, despite the hotel's central location. Breakfast was included in the price and was very nice (although don't be too late, or you might find some things have run out). The hotel is on the third floor of the building, but there is a lift to get you up. We were leaving very early on Sunday morning, and the staff gladly arranged for us to have some coffee and biscuits before we left. We would highly recommend this hotel and would go back again

Quite a good location, just ten minutes walk from the main sights of Torino. Rooms are pleasant, comfortable, clean and quite spacious for an Italian hotel. The bathroom in our room was small and a larger person would not be able to get past the bidet and toilet to get into the shower stall or close the door on it. The breakfast area is small and was in chaos most mornings as the single attendant battled to cope with the flow of guests. We had a balcony which housed four air conditioning units on it and you had to close the window when they were in use because of the noise they made. This is a cheap hotel though and as such offered good value and I'd probably stay there again.

The hotel is located next to Piazza Vittorio and consists of two, recently renovated floors in a historic building. The hotel in itself is very cute, with a little sitting room with a large flat screen tv and a little bar that is rather comfortable if one has to work during his stay. The breakfast room is small but the breakfast is very good and varied. The room I was given was not very large but good enough, the shower is very small but the rooms are very clean. The staff is very welcoming and helpful. I took a taxi from the train station to the hotel, which cost me 7 euros. Will definitely return.

Just I think would be useful to know the number of the bus and stop name, to go from railway station to the hotel.

Only the second time I have used venere, but this was brilliant - we paid 85 euros for a lovely clean spacious room in an excellent location - no problem finding it with a street map, and the lift is not antique - just quaint. Ok so a serious hike from the station, but easier if you turn right along Corso VE 11 and then left at the river.

Unable to get any hotel bookings in Milan, we decided to go to Turin from Paris. We discovered we love Turin, and the hotel was great and its location was ideal; the room we had was great,we were recommended great restuarant by the reception, so we had great food as well. We had a lovely time in Turin, great hotel, breakfast was fantastic, the girl managing the breakfast made great coffee. We will our friends to go to Turin + stay at Alpi Resort no doubt!

On arrival the desk person jumped me and said,"How could you expect to park a car in downtown Turin?" and I said as per my reservation at which point she really got angry. All she wanted was twenty more Euros, which I was happy to pay, but the method of extracting the money was bad. Don't eat at the restaurant she suggests as that was a similar bait and switch experience with the wine prices as well.

Very nice and clean hotel, excellent breakfast. It was a pity for the bathroom, very very small but anyway clean and full of any accessories. Surely I'll reccomend to all friends.Excellent location, you take one minute to reach the beautiful Vittorio Veneto square.

Bon hôtel, personnel compétent et serviable mais les chambres sur la rue très bruyantes pour qui souhaite dormir les fenêtres ouvertes (bonne isolation phonique par ailleurs). Hôtel très bien situé par rapport au centre-ville.

Hotel is hidden away on the 3rd floor of an almost unidentified building, a block and a half from the Piazza Vittoria Veneto. Great location but a bit hard to find. There's one ancient lift and very steep, long stairs. However, room was good; bed was very comfortable, bathroom was very good and breakfast buffet was excellent. Reception staff member on duty when we arrived was not all that welcoming, but others during our stay were great - very helpful indeed. Overall a competent cheap hotel, although their signage and lift need improvement.

Good quality of every kind of service. Very complete breakfast, con un eccelente servizio della signora responsabile di quello. Le informazioni richieste sui ristoranti vicini erano esatte. The single beds are not the most restful ones. Some backpain when awaken... Apart from that, a real success. Raccomandato.

We stayed Hotel Alpi Resort 2 nignts and loved it. The room was specious than our expectation and the bathroom was beautifully up-dated. Our room No.109 had a Jacuzzi that we have never seen in other 3 star hotels in Italy. They provided room slippers that made us relaxed. Very friendly and helpful staff. You have cabled internet access at your room with free of charge. Only one negative feedback was noise from outside. Our room faced to the street and could hear tram and bus noises from early morning. If you are sensitive to the noise, book the room faced to the courtyard. Also we enjoyed their old style lift - though the first time we struggled to open the door! Overall this hotel has great cost performance. Highly recommended.

The hotel is well located, with useful car parking (through a bit expensive, 15 € per day). The staff, breakfast, accomodations and decoration are also fine. The only disappointement is the noisiness of the rooms, which are not isolated from sounds coming from the other areas (example : door bells when you're close to the door) : it's a small disappointment for a charming hotel... I've known far worse. Plus, Rooms are not easy to circulate in. Anyway, it 's still fine and worth the price.

We found the Hotel Alpi Resort to be everything that was represented to us on your website except for the distance to travel from the Porta Nuova Train station. We definitely had to take a taxi( which we had to walk down and around the corner, down the street a bit and then had to cross the street to get to where the taxi's line up.) Luckily we had met a young Italian man who helped us with finding everything. Especially with luggage it is necessary to take a taxi. Make sure you take the name and address of the hotel with you because our taxi driver did not know where it was, but did find it with no problem. It cost about 8 euro for 4 people. The breakfast was exceptional and they did offer American coffee, which was very good. ( I think your picture of the breakfast room was not as nice as it actually was and you should show it with the food that is offered, which was a very good selection of fruit, breads, cheese, yogurt, water, juices etc. We did have a room on the front so it was a little noisey but not all night. There is also a very good restaurant right around the corner so it is very convenient, especially if you are tired. And they also have menus in English. We would definitely stay there again. All of the staff were very helpful and friendly. We only stayed one night so didn't really look around the area to see what was there. We also stayed at the Gotha Hotel in Cirie' which was absolutely fabulous and again the staff was exceptional and the hotel was very nice. It is 5 minutes from Casselle Airport, so it was convenient especially if you have an early flight like we did.
