Very nice hotel, great location near Piazza Vittorio Veneto. Rooms and hotel are very clean. I would definitely recommend. Rooms are a bit small, but still very nice for a couple. Torino was great!

Hotel was exactly as described on the Web page. Sparkling clean, personnel very competent and very friendly, always ready with advice. The fact that the reception is on the third floor, although disconcerting at first, is not a problem, the elevator is always available. Hotel is very well located, close to the Po, and near the main streets - easy walk to the shops. Would return there if going back to Torino.

Room dated and smelt of smoke, although labelled non-smoking. Bathroom modern and immaculate. Staff were lovely and very helpful. It was in a noisy street but with such a central situation we'd happily go back there.

An excellent hotel for the price (70 EUR for double bedroom - but as I understand the price is usually twice that). Wonderful location - as central as it can get, yet perfectly quiet. Spacious bedroom. Private parking for a surcharge. Good service. Breakfast could be improved with a greater variety of cheeses, meats, confitures - this is Piedmont after all.

It is important to note that this is primarily a hotel for business travelers. There are no real amenities other than your room and an ok breakfast and a very efficient staff. It is located on the third floor of a centrally located residential building, so if you're used to a regular hotel, you'll be put off at first. It is definitely worth the $$$ if you don't plan on hanging around the hotel other than to sleep and catch a quick morning bite. Parking is nearby.

Nice quaint little hotel. Rooms looks like its been renovated. Amenities in the room are second to none. Location is also quite nice, within 20 minutes of walking distance to the main shopping belt and the Egyptian museum. There's a tram about 5 minutes walk away to take to the Mole.

Lovely, charming, old fashioned hotel (not at all decadent!), located in a quiet street close to Vittorio Veneto Square, one of the city most agreable places, pointed out with restaurants, bars, cafes and shops. The square is across the bridge over Po River, and provides easy transportation to any part of the city. The property is at walk distance of the historical center (palaces) os the city, as well as of famous Mole Antonielana. The building preserves an old style (including the elevator, with its manual closing door), while the interior areas provide all confort and cleanliness one can expect. Easily reachable from the train station with bus line 61. There's a travel agency across the street where you can buy trains tickets. Surprisinly spacious (even single) rooms. Very friendly staff. Wouldn't even think of staying somehere else if I'm ever back to Turin. Already recommended the hotel for a couple of friends who are going to Italy this year. Very good quality/price relation.

This hotel is located on a side street to Piazza Vittorio, which is one of the most beautiful and happening piazzas in Turin. The location could not be better. I had a single room with bath for 50-54 Euro. The room was clean and spacious. The only issue I had was it was located next to the breakfast area upstairs, and the espresso machine is loud, but I was waking up at 6:00 am because of my jetlag anyway, so that was not an issue. One advice: To get from Porta Nuova to the Hotel, take Tram or Bus 61. I don't know why it doesn't say so anywhere here and it would have saved me a lot of walking.

The owner (?), the woman at the front desk, was one of the most helpful and sweet staff we've ever encountered in an Italian hotel! The free wireless internet was an unusual extra. The breakfast was generous, the room a nice size, with a lovely lounge area just outside it. The only problem we suggest she try to fix was the plumbing: the water varied between cold and scalding during the shower, and this was extremely uncomfortable not to mention dangerous. Also, the water pressure was poor most of the time in the shower.

We had 2 rooms. Our room was great, we even had a bathtub with whirlpool-function. The room of our friends wasnt that good - as it said in the hoteldescription "whirlpool" they expected one as well but there was none. The hotel should change that. Breakfast was good, location very good. The heated a lot but in the night the heator was off thankfully. The hotel was perfect for a weeekend trip to Turin.

It would be difficult to better the location of Alpi Resort: you have the city within easy reach, with one of the main squares just around the corner, and plenty of cafes etc. Also, however, not mentioned in the publicity is the equally appealing green panorama offered by the river and the hills behind the mausoleum, these views within a minute's walk. We shall definitely re-visit... we loved Turin and the Alpi Resort.

A great hotel right in the heart of the city. We received a very friendly and helpful welcome (the people at reception were very helpful throughout our stay), the lady was able to explain the parking in the city. (The hotel does have a car park, but you have to request it in advance, which we hadn't realised. However, there is parking in the surrounding area.) The room was very nice, quite spacious with a nice bathroom and wasn't noisy, despite the hotel's central location. Breakfast was included in the price and was very nice (although don't be too late, or you might find some things have run out). The hotel is on the third floor of the building, but there is a lift to get you up. We were leaving very early on Sunday morning, and the staff gladly arranged for us to have some coffee and biscuits before we left. We would highly recommend this hotel and would go back again

Quite a good location, just ten minutes walk from the main sights of Torino. Rooms are pleasant, comfortable, clean and quite spacious for an Italian hotel. The bathroom in our room was small and a larger person would not be able to get past the bidet and toilet to get into the shower stall or close the door on it. The breakfast area is small and was in chaos most mornings as the single attendant battled to cope with the flow of guests. We had a balcony which housed four air conditioning units on it and you had to close the window when they were in use because of the noise they made. This is a cheap hotel though and as such offered good value and I'd probably stay there again.

The hotel is located next to Piazza Vittorio and consists of two, recently renovated floors in a historic building. The hotel in itself is very cute, with a little sitting room with a large flat screen tv and a little bar that is rather comfortable if one has to work during his stay. The breakfast room is small but the breakfast is very good and varied. The room I was given was not very large but good enough, the shower is very small but the rooms are very clean. The staff is very welcoming and helpful. I took a taxi from the train station to the hotel, which cost me 7 euros. Will definitely return.

Only the second time I have used venere, but this was brilliant - we paid 85 euros for a lovely clean spacious room in an excellent location - no problem finding it with a street map, and the lift is not antique - just quaint. Ok so a serious hike from the station, but easier if you turn right along Corso VE 11 and then left at the river.

On arrival the desk person jumped me and said,"How could you expect to park a car in downtown Turin?" and I said as per my reservation at which point she really got angry. All she wanted was twenty more Euros, which I was happy to pay, but the method of extracting the money was bad. Don't eat at the restaurant she suggests as that was a similar bait and switch experience with the wine prices as well.

Hotel is hidden away on the 3rd floor of an almost unidentified building, a block and a half from the Piazza Vittoria Veneto. Great location but a bit hard to find. There's one ancient lift and very steep, long stairs. However, room was good; bed was very comfortable, bathroom was very good and breakfast buffet was excellent. Reception staff member on duty when we arrived was not all that welcoming, but others during our stay were great - very helpful indeed. We stayed Hotel Alpi Resort 2 nignts and loved it. The room was specious than our expectation and the bathroom was beautifully up-dated. Our room No.109 had a Jacuzzi that we have never seen in other 3 star hotels in Italy. They provided room slippers that made us relaxed. Very friendly and helpful staff. You have cabled internet access at your room with free of charge. Only one negative feedback was noise from outside. Our room faced to the street and could hear tram and bus noises from early morning. If you are sensitive to the noise, book the room faced to the courtyard. Also we enjoyed their old style lift - though the first time we struggled to open the door! Overall this hotel has great cost performance. Highly recommended.

The hotel is well located, with useful car parking (through a bit expensive, 15 € per day). The staff, breakfast, accomodations and decoration are also fine. The only disappointement is the noisiness of the rooms, which are not isolated from sounds coming from the other areas (example : door bells when you're close to the door) : it's a small disappointment for a charming hotel... I've known far worse. Plus, Rooms are not easy to circulate in. Anyway, it 's still fine and worth the price.

We found the Hotel Alpi Resort to be everything that was represented to us on your website except for the distance to travel from the Porta Nuova Train station. We definitely had to take a taxi( which we had to walk down and around the corner, down the street a bit and then had to cross the street to get to where the taxi's line up.) Luckily we had met a young Italian man who helped us with finding everything. Especially with luggage it is necessary to take a taxi. Make sure you take the name and address of the hotel with you because our taxi driver did not know where it was, but did find it with no problem. It cost about 8 euro for 4 people. The breakfast was exceptional and they did offer American coffee, which was very good. ( I think your picture of the breakfast room was not as nice as it actually was and you should show it with the food that is offered, which was a very good selection of fruit, breads, cheese, yogurt, water, juices etc. We did have a room on the front so it was a little noisey but not all night. There is also a very good restaurant right around the corner so it is very convenient, especially if you are tired. And they also have menus in English. We would definitely stay there again. All of the staff were very helpful and friendly. We only stayed one night so didn't really look around the area to see what was there. We also stayed at the Gotha Hotel in Cirie' which was absolutely fabulous and again the staff was exceptional and the hotel was very nice. It is 5 minutes from Casselle Airport, so it was convenient especially if you have an early flight like we did.

Wow! The previous reviewers weren't kidding when they spoke of the bathroom size. If you are one of those gigantic fat chicks (or guys), you really probably want to stay somewhere else unless you expect to go without a shower. I'm so skinny my pants are falling down, and I had to turn the shower off and open the door so I could soap up my legs, as this is seriously a tiny space. I don't mind dealing with this type of thing for a fantastic location, though. Other thing is that the lobby is on the third floor - kind of a pain, but what are you gonna do? Oh, and I also hate when these places want you to leave your key every time you leave, so that when you come back you have to wait for someone to show up for you to receive your key. Plus, I don't feel like they're going to protect my key to my belongings as well as I am. I'm only pointing out the faults, however. I would definitely recommend this place for location and price to quality ratio.

I stayed this hotel for 8 nights. All staffs were so gentle and kind. The room kept clean, particularly bathroom. Surroundings of this hotel are also peaceful. I insist that it is the fantastic hotel!

Our only problem was trying to find then hotel lobby. Not understanding Italian very well, we missed the sign saying the lobby was on the third floor. Perhaps a multi lingual sign would help, We would certainly go there again.

Very nice hotel, with wonderful staff and very big rooms and bathrooms!Excellent breakfast, very very clean, they change towels every day!Marvellous surroundings, everything in not more than 5min walk.Congratulations!

As you may learn from our ratings,we warmly recommend this hotel. The location in the old city surroundings, just at the Po river is excellent. The room we got was above all our expectations, refering to the price having paid. The front desk staff was very friendly and familiar.A very important remark-don't be effected of the entrance and the outside look of the building.Take the very old type elevator to the third floor to the hotel, meet the front desk people, get your room, look around in the hotel and go for a walk outside. You will enjoy everything.

This hotel is very well kept. It is in a quiet street, on the third floor. It is only 10 minutes walk from the historic center. Staff is competent and helpful. Price is rather low taking account of its qualities

Breakfast was excellent except for the jam provided (in packets). Coffee was great. Good Air-con. An excellent mini-bar was provided. Parking was down the road 150 yards.

We were very happy with our room and its location. Staff was exceptionally helpful, especially Georgie. We dined twice at La Cantinella just across the river, having read about it by another reviewer - the seafood pasta is a real winner. We loved Turin and hope to return.

We had a wonderful stay. This hotel is certainly situated in the best part of town if your looking to have a relaxed stay. The area along the Po is great for cocktails and there are quite a few nice restaurants in the area. I would strongly recommend this hotel to my friends and family.

Alpi resort is even better tham the site shows up. Large rooms, excellente bed, quiet spot, nice TV and frigobar. The entrance is a bit creepy, as it is placed in an old residential building with a scary elevator. But beautiful hall and english speaking welcoming people soon make us forget the first impression. About the location, it's a little bit further the central old city than we thougt, walking distance, but a 10 minues walking distance. There's a very close parking space that you should not forget to also book, if you are traveling by car, for 15 euros/night.

Very quiet all-comfort hotel in the heart of old Turin. A bit cold and "formal" attitude, but suitable to the general atmosphere of the town.A selection of "traditional" channels on TV could be preferable to digital ones. Breakfast is very good. All in all, an excellent place to stay at a reasonable cost/quality ratio

I would never book this hotel again. There are many more choices in Torino that are courteous, friendly, understanding and devoted to customer service. This hotel is none of these. Do NOT stay here. If you do then afterwards dont say you were not warned!! Thats what this feedback is for.

The Hotel Alpi Resort was uniformly excellent in all respects. We were traveling in three countries for over 6 weeks, and the Hotel Alpi was certainly one of the best hotels. We could recommend this Hotel to anyone, and will definitely return. We were in Torino for the Slow Food Salone di Gusto.
