Is an hotel in a very good place, near the center of the town and near central station. From there you can arrive walking in the centre of Trieste.

Hotel Roma is a really standard hotel with very dated rooms and dated interior overall. The price for 2 nights was good, but I would not come back. The photos on their website are highly misleading, the hallway appearing as bright and modern - the reality overall is a bit different. Breakfast was okay but it's always better to get a more decent coffee at one of the many bars.

Room and bathroom were very nicely decorated, though it had 2 single beds pushed together rather than a double bed. It was very close to the train station and easy to find. We had to wait for a table for breakfast however, as there were very few tables.

Convenient to the Station, and check in was OK. Lift stops between floors so still plenty of steps. Tiny room with very tired furnishings. Bathroom OK but shower far too small. "Free" internet access did not turn out to be free in our case. Unpleasant experience with rude and contempuous staff at check out. Wish we had stayed at Novo Hotel Impero instead, our alternate choice which was closer to station and appeared to be better quality.

The hotel is situated exactly as stated between the rialto bridge and st marks square. This made it really easy to get around and see all the sights. Top tip, get up at dawn and take your camera to St Marks square, breathtaking. The hotel is small and comfortable. other reviews complain about the breakfast, but there is the usual continental fare, have these people never travelled before?

The entire hotel smelling like a channel (the explanation: "yes, that is often like that." No apology, no discount offer). The breakfast terrible (BURNT! Coffee). The rooms furnished obviousely in the early 70ies and never renovated. The ordered "quiet" room just above a three lane street ("fortunately" we couldn't hear the street noise, because the Karaokee bar opposite was so loud). After changing the room it was more quiet - only the smell was worse. 90 Euros for a terrible night! Never again!

Because we were lucky to get a room in a section of the hotel that was very recently renewed, the quality and standard (and size?) of the room was remarkably BETTER than the description on the web pages! We actually were amazed when entering the room.

Excellent time. Our stay included two family members who live in nearby Austria. Staff patiently assisted us through several issues, including recommending a local, family owned seafood restaurant, and contacting a local taxi driver by taxi number, to help locate a pair of lost prescription eye glasses, successfully.!

Location was good, property overall just OK, photo looks nicer than the place is. Power went out in rooms just after arrival but restored in about 20 minutes. Employees kind of indifferent. Wasn't a very good value for ~100 euro.

The rooms had the so called bathroom behind a curtain (no door) in the window space - the shower was in the tiny bath tub and was dangerous since anyone more than a size 6 risked falling out in addition the water went everywhere since there was no shower door or curtain - never seen such a thing for 100 euros - this sort of thing makes venere.com extremely unreliable for future reservations through your site.

The Roma Hotel was excellent. It was about 2 blocks from the train station and easy to find and walk to. The hotel served a wonderful breakfast. Most everyone spoke some English. All staff members were very helpful. I would certainly book it again. I booked the Roma with Venere for the first time and I also booked a hotel in Bologna with the Venere web site. I would certainly book rooms again with Venere.
