Hotel Le Corderie - Trieste

I spent some days in Le Corderie/Trieste with my parents (aged 69 and 76) as a birthday gift for my Dad. The hotel exceeded all our expectations, extremely friendly and helpful staff and very good breakfast (buffet style), spotlessly clean and modern rooms, spacious bathrooms. Only thing you have to consider is that the hotel is situated in a purely residential area, meaning on one hand it is really quiet (lots of parking space around), but on the other hand you have to take the car/bus/taxi to go downtown for dinner. I would absolutely recommend Le Corderie.

Nice hotel a 10-15 minute walk to the city centre. Very impressing breakfast - very delicate!

A beautifully presented small hotel,staff very welcoming,wonderful buffet every morning with fresh pastries and cakes,coffee to order. Mini bar and drinks on return from evening out are included. Only thing to get used to is that the hotel is a good 15 minutes walk from anything so it would be good if all staff pointed out that one can get a number 8 bus 5 mins away to centre and that the nearby tobacconist will sell a daily(giornaliero) ticket for 3 euros 50 which takes you everywhere,up to the castle or down to Muggia.This avoids expensive taxis to/from hotel. Otherwise a lovely hotel and we would love to go there again.

The hotel is a little bit remote from the city center. However, Triest is not too big, the walk can be done in 15 minutes. The rooms were clean and nice, the ladies at the reception were very charming! The breakfast was really awesome: Mozarella, self-made Tiramisu, excellent coffee (not a matter of course in Italy)! The area around the hotel is very green. A little bit further up the street the walls are full of graffities but it still makes a safe impression. Good parking possibilities on the road.

This is a well appointed gem of a small new hillside hotel, just barely outside the "centrum" but close enough to walk or short bus/taxi ride to the city's main square. The decor is hip and urban, but still comfortable and inviting. The staff was firendly and attentive, providing advice as needed - with great recommendations for dinner from Manager Ms. Mazzega. Breakfast here is awesome, so good it's a food event.
