Hotel Città di Parenzo - Trieste

Very clean, quiet, great location, but bed, pillow not very comfortable. wi-fi didn't work in room, but could use computer in lobby.

Only a few minutes walk to town. Warm welcome from lovely lady who gave us a map and tips for restaurants. Fan, airconditioning system and minibar in room. Breakfast is basic.

The hotel is quite smart and has a good relation "price-quality" due also to the excellent position to the down-town and to city's castle. Personally, only the bothroom is not so good.

We stayed in Trieste before moving on to Venice. Unfortunately the weather was terrible (end of October), wet and very windy. And as many of the resturants and bars only had seating outside, there wasn't much to do. So we were grateful that our hotel had a super market close by, was very central and was comfy enough to lounge about in eating snacks in the room. We found a lovely little Pizza place which was very reasonably priced, and most of the cafes do the best hot chocolates. I would say if you are planning on staying in Trieste then the hotel is worth a stay for its location, the breakfast isn't massive, but it is fresh and tasty. But I wouldn't make it a long stay over in Trieste as some of the resturants and bars are not very welcoming, the big one one opposite Harry's in the main square just ignored my wife and I, sorry I can't remember its name. However this was a good thing in the end we took a side street and found a proper taste of Italy

Generally helpful staff. Breakfast is OK (although largely within traditional Italian measures). Parking is complicated: third party company takes your car somewhere to park. Generally well organized but can be inconvenient. Stayed there for two separate nights, in one occassion had some problem with the toilet. Receptionist was kind and fixed it.

Very quiet room, very clean, excellent service provided. Very good breakfast.

The hotel's name should be designated as "Albergo Parenza". It is difficult to find by car. The steps were a problem. Everything was either up or down them this made moving luggage a problem. The staff were unbelievably helpful and solved a major problem for us. The Internet did not work properly even though it was free. The staff recommended a great place to eat! Some very nice touches in the washroom.

A good hotel in the center of Trieste. Employees are very gentle and with a high competence. The service for car parking is great and with a cheap price.

You should add, that on the city-signs, the hotel is called "Albergo Parenza" (as I remember...)

It was our first time in Trieste. The hotel has wonderful location, right next to the antique theater and a street away from the main piazza. It was clean and homy. The stuff was kind and helpful. It's perfect for travelers and tourists. I would recommend it to everyone who is looking for cheap comfortable and nice stay.
