Waldrach is no where near Trier, it is 40 minutes on a local bus and the last bus from Trier is 20.00hr. I arrived at hotel at 20.00hour and the kitchen was closing and I could not be served dinner. Breakfast didn't start until 8am and I had to leave much earlier to get back to Trier to catch a train. The room I was initially given had not been cleaned, both it and the next room I was given did not even have soap in the bathroom.

the location address as presented on the internet is misleading as the hotel is not in the town of Trier, but in a small village 10km out of town. Even the local Trier police did not know of it, however, their prisoner did and he was very helpful in our finding the hotel. Otherwise the stay was pleasant and the bed was good.

The adress whe got from the webpage said: Hotel landgasthof Simon in TRIER. I was confusing that the hotel wasn't located in TRIER but in WALDORF. I took us an hour to find the hotel, because we were looking in Trier. So it is usefull to change te adres from TRIER to WALDORF.
