Hotel Scala - Treviso

General hotel status has deteriored over the years. Good logistics to the center.

On a main road, with only 1 or 2 basic cafes nearby, so we ate in the hotel which was rather mediocre! Otherwise, this was a good basic hotel for an overnight stay

I think the hotel can be preferred any time I have to come again in Treviso.

1 double, 1 single room for 2 overnight stays - ideal for these kind of stops before and after holiday eh route from/to airport. It would have benefitted from some more attention to detail in maintenance of bathrooms - some chipped tiles and soap dish etc., otherwise we would have given a higher score. On our first stay, the single room smelt appallingly off smoke but fine on return. On return visit, due to tiredness, we chose to eat in the Hotel restaurant but would have had far better value and choice had we gone out.

Walking to the city center of Treviso takes 20 minutes. Busstop is indeed almost directly near the hotel. As it is on the line between airport and train, it is very good for those who want to spend one or two nights and then travel on. Treviso is realy worth it to make a stop over! Unfortunately we arrived late (21.45) at the airport and had to get a taxi to arrive at the hotel.

My main reservation in recommending this hotel is the cigarette smell that seemed to waft up to our room through the night, I assume by whoever was on duty downstairs.

Nevertheless breakfast was not included in our purchase, they offered it for free. Only problem of this property is the noise from the road. But we were so tired that we slept anyway...

The no. 1 bus stops outside the hotel as advertised, but it doesn't go or come from the airport, as promised in the publicity. To get there we had to go first to the station.

Nice location on bus line, stops right at hotel. 20 minute walk to city center. Since this is a business hotel breakfast is NOT included in the price but it worth it. Great central location for seeing the region by bus or rail. Did car day trips as well.

Ideal place to end my holiday. Everything I needed was at the hotel and it was only a short walk into the town centre.

A lovely old villa in a good location, but a bit far out from the downtown area. Restaurant closed on Sundays with little local alternative.

Very good value for money, pleasant personnel, spacious room, powerful shower. We did not try the breakfast, so cannot rate. Do try to get a room facing away from the SS13, which is a busy road. Ours faced the back, you can still hear some street noise but we found it quite bearable. There's a reasonable supermarket around the corner from Scala, which is convenient. It's a 15-20 min walk into downtown Treviso. Hotel has ample parking. Convenient location if travelling via auto - place is not too far from the Treviso North exit of the A27 motorway.

We chose Hotel Scala for 2 days during our visit to venice. We flew to TREVISO and it was by bus easy to reach. Buy 1 euro bus ticket, take number 6 from airport and come to TREVISO CENTRAL STATION. Than with the same ticket take bus 1 and you are at the hotel. Treviso is very quite e modern city. There are nice shops, art and nature. Venice is from Station 20 min. away. (2,35 euro one way ticket) The hotel is just 5 mt away from the supermarket and the bus stop. There is a very close big park to get some rest and to read book. Some restourants and ice cream shops are very close. So Hotel Scala was good decision for us and we had wonderful time. Its quite, clean and peaceful place. i recommend it for the travelers of Venice or Treviso.

Wir waren einen Tag im Hotel untergebracht - und dies gut! ... die Zimmer waren zwar nicht riesig, aber sauber ... freundliches Personal ... die Lage an einer Ausfallstraße in Treviso war zwar nicht besonders ruhig, aber während der Nacht ging es ... Frühstück für ital. Verhältnisse gut ... !!!

Nice relaxing area for day or two if you are flying into treviso airport

Quite far away from city center. Room and bed very nice.

The hotel was very nice and the personal welcoming, but it is not located in the central area of Treviso, as indicated on Venere.com. You have to take a bus or a taxi.

The room facing the main road was rather noisy and it must be difficult in summer. The hotel is also a long way out from the delightful city centre but it is convenient for an early morning flight from Treviso airport.

Buon hotel, camera e bagno sufficientemente ampi. Riscaldamento troppo alto e non regolabile, camera rumorosa in quanto affacciata su una strada trafficata.

Very pleaseant hotel. Great value for money. Easy bus ride in to town - or a pleasant 20 minute walk.

It is farther from the airport than I thought it would be, still about a 10-15 taxi ride (20 euros standard).
