Hotel Ca' del Galletto - Treviso

Excellent Hotel near center of Treviso(15 min walk, or by bus).Very warm welcoming by fiendly and competent staff. Our romm was qiet and spacious, although the"panorama" was not remarkable. Swimmingpool area is relaxing after a days walk in Venice! We will certainly come back.

Terrible view to a construction site right under our window. Surrounding area very unattractive with no sidewalks. Our GPS showed 2.8km to town center and the hotel web page sadi 1.1 km! The restaurant only works in the evenings.

Very nice hotel, located in a quiet place but close enough (10 minutes away) from the city center.

Despite the distance from the City centre (2.0 KM) many bikes are provided from the Hotel, free of charge. I asked for an unpaid WiFi access, they gave me 1 day connection! As we only stayed for the night, no review for the breakfast and all other facilities. Very kind clerks, lot of parking, very silent room.

Treviso is confusing to travel around by car, and a detailed map is really necessary to find the hotel and to get around. Easy to reach the hotel from Treviso airport as it is just off the main road into the city. It is a commercial hotel which probably runs a number of business conferences. There is a rather soul-less but adequate restaurant on the premises. As Treviso is a small city, the hotel is not far from the older parts which are more interesting and well worth some time to wander around. We used it as a base for a day trip to Venice by train (about 40 minutes journey). Do check the times of trains as we had quite a gap to wait.

Hotel is getting somewhat faded, with decor in some of the public areas needing upgrading. The restaurant, while the food was nice, was expensive, and the sun awnings just outside it are in a terrible state due to no maintainance. Grounds could also do with attention. The staff were very helpful and courteous, dealing very satisfactorily with an internet problem, and the room, while having a faint odour, was clean.

Very beautiful rooms, nice and warm colours, competent and friendly staff, could not have been better.

Great hotel, very new looking, spotlessly clean, staff very friendly and helpful, rooms spacious and clean and also air conditioned, breakfast buffet also great. They also have a spotlessly clean and very well maintained pool area outside, which we took full use of in the hot Italian sunshine. The only downside, and I wouldnt class it as a downside myself, is the hotel is 1 km from Treviso centre. However, this is only a 15minute easy walk in a straight line, or a 5 minute gentle ride on the free dutch bikes the hotel provide within the price. The bikes are great (and well maintained) and should really be taken advantage of. Treviso is a charming place which we really enjoyed for a realxing 3 days after the joys of Venice. We took a 10min taxi ride to Treviso airport for 18 euros, and met another couple from the hotel who had used the local bus for 1 euro, so that is worth looking at. I would definately use this hotel again.

Very comfortable, smart and spacious hotel.

The hotel is very clean, and has large spacious rooms. However the beds were very hard, and so were the pillows. However, a good location, and very nice hotel

This hotel is a little bit outside of Treviso Town but it was a nice walk into the centre. The rooms in the hotel were excellent. The staff were great and went out of their way to be helpful.

Nous n'avons fait qu'une courte étape à Trévise, avant de nous rendre en Croatie. Ceci étant, nous avons apprécié la nuit passée à Ca'del galetto. Chambres et salles de bain très spacieuses, calmes, confortables. Petit-déjeuner sous forme de buffet avec un large choix. Excellent rapport qualité/prix grâce à Venere.com (50% de réduction).

It was a realy good vacation for us we stayed in Treviso because it was close and more easy using the train going to Venice Me & my family had good time staing in the "Ca'del Galleto" and I almost forgot the food it was realy good Thank you guys I'll keep you in mind next time we go on vacation bye bye....

The hotel was further from the town than expected (700+ metres from the city walls), but the hotel supplied bicycles and is a good investment for anyone wishing to ditch their car on arrival

We really enjoyed our night in this hotel and wish we had time to stay longer. The room was lovely - we had a quadruple room and the price was very reasonable at 120 euro. Nice spa bath! Had time to use the pool and the gym facilities before we left also. Great place to stay. Treviso is a lovely town, worth visiting.We got a bus into town from the hotel and it took less than 10 mins to centre. Taxi from Treviso airport to hotel was 18.00 euro, fixed price. Staff were nice and helpful. Would definitely recommend this hotel.

Breakfast is wonderful :-)

The reception staff were not very friendly and the bar was only available for conference guests. The directions to the hotel were not terribly good.

Super hotel for the money. Huge, quite room. Sparkling swimpool and free use of bikes. You can easily bike to the beautiful downtown area. Secure off street parking. Excellent buffet breakfast.

It is poor that there is no info when the resturant on a hotel has close for hollidays

The location was inconvenient relative to the historical center. It required a bus. There are good hotels in the center. It is nice to stroll out and be in the center. For us tthis is a major issue. Also the place had a dark feel to it - clean, but not cheery.

Nice hotel. Not located in downtown Trevesco, but a 1/2 mile drive to town. No problem if you have a car.

Clean and comfortable rooms. Excellent breakfasts (best we had in Italy). The desk clerk proficient in English was quite helpful. Best used with a rental car.

I don't believe that this hotel is 4 star - should be 3 star. Best thing about it was the free bicycles

The hotel didn't follow the venere.com credit card reservation: my credit card was charged upon reservation. When I complained about this at the hotel, I was told this was common practice. I also had the unpleasant surprise that the breakfast wasn't included in the price. The hotel was however very nice, well-located and clean. A good price/quality relationship.

The only minus is the distance to city centre, but they have bycicles for guests :o) Everything else is really confortable.

Hotel was fine. Pity the restaurant was closed (Sunday night) and the only near option was a pizza house a kilometer away

Fantastic. Competent staff, willing to help with any matter (internet, bus tickets, even directions) The internet point in the rooms is a modem connection - ie. won't work with a network cable. (I asked if I could borrow a modem cable and was promptly escorted to their computer!) Rooms were beautifully furnished, and cleaned daily. In fact the photos on the site don't do it justice. At breakfast there was a huge choice, and hot drinks brought to your table. Would definitely recommend this to any type of traveller, it is 50m metres from the bus stop, easy access to and from the town centre, and train station. I plan to visit again!

Very pleasant. We felt we were too old to take advantage of the free bikes provided but they could be useful for sightseeing since everyone cycles in Treviso.

Le camere sono tanto pulite e l'hotel è silenzioso e gode di un'ottima posizione per raggiungere il centro città. L'unica nota negativa è la piscina che trovo troppo piccolo. §inoltre il personale sembra ignorare il cliente.
