This is a beautiful hotel, with excellent service , and with a wonderful restaurant with great food, excellent service and a gracious and welcoming maitre d' (Stephan). The only negative is the parking. It is in a public underground garage at least 1/2 KM from the hotel. The garage was generaly almost deserted, poorly lit with no security. The way out was a 3 flight stair climb (again dark and deserted) with no elevator available. Overall I loved the hotel, but the parking issues are significant enough that I would hesitate to stay there again. A hotel of this quality should have a valet to park and retrieve cars, or should arrange parking much more accessible to the hotel.

In general the hotel is good. The breakfast is poor. The staff of the hotel is friendly and professional. The town is beatiful. The price vs. quality is affordable no doubts.

Ideal location right at the top of this little hill town, but access by car is not easy and the parking is some distance away. Our rooms were in an annexe across the square but were palatial and comfortable. Excellent breakfast. Good eating is within walking distance - unfortunately the attractive-looking hotel restaurant was closed the day we visited.

Attractive location, excellent 4* hotels. Will recommend to friends.

The hotel and the restaurant are very good. The only little problem we have experienced is regarding the heating since the rooms are very large and the roof is very high and I found the heating not sufficient. They have provided us with a special "air heating" appliance to solve the issue but it was not as comfortable as regular heating. The rooms are excellent, but since the hotel is right in the centre of this medieval city, the views from the windows are not exciting.

We were completely blown away by the quality of our room, considering our tight budget traveling through Italy. The service was excellent, as were the prices for low-season. It's possibly the finest location in Trevi and I'd make the trip again solely to stay here again. Our room occupied the best vista overlooking this small hill town. Easily the highlight of our travels through Umbria.

Very nice hotel in an historic building. Rooms are appointed very nicely and are good sized. The common areas are also very nice. The town of Trevi is small but bustling with local activity. Very pleasant. The hotel is a bit hard to get to. I would recommend parking in the piazza below (through the gate) and walking up to the hotel. Navigating through the small streets with anything other than a mini car is tricky. I saw one person scrape their BMW convertible on the side. It would be nice also if the hotel could offer some luggage transport from below via motorized cart.

Listed as a four star hotel, this is really a 3.5 star...but still a very charming hotel, wonderfully located (although the parking is rather inconvenient, in a public garage about 250 meters away). Driving up to the hotel itself is not to be undertaken by a typical American driver in a big SUV! We were challenged in our small Alfa Romeo! The hotel is quiet, very nicely appointed, with a terrific restaurant, very pleasant, courteous and knowledgeable staff. It is an truly exceptional value. Our room had 5 meter high ceilings, beautifully hand painted. The breakfast was very good and the staff/service was exceptional. We could have used some assistance with our luggage, but that was apparently not an option. The hotel does have a lift which facilitates getting to the higher floors. Trevi is a very beautiful small hill town, old and very well preserved, less like a 'tourist town' than some of the others...the views from the town are spectacular. There are several superb restaurants, but the one in the hotel is really qyite good with an excellent wine list, particularly for local wines. In town, there is much construction/renovation underway, particularly just across the piazza from the hotel...not at all noisy, but less attractive right now that when it is done. Outside the wall, there are olive groves everywhere, with some of the very best oit in Umbria available at very reasonable prices.

We had a delightful stay at the hotel; the staff were particularly welcoming and helpful. Trevi is a bit off the beaten track but well worth discovering to enjoy the real life in Umbria. Great scenic views of the countryside from the city's walls. The food and service at the hotel restaurant was also outstanding. Hoping to return in the future.

This lovely hotel makes a trip to Trevi almost a requirement. At the top of the hill, on a little square next to the church, its location is ideal. The superior rooms are wonderful, with high painted ceilings, comfortable beds, marble bath with whirlpool tub. The standard room was a bit smaller and the ceilings weren't quite as high, but it was also nicely furnished. The rooms were spotlessly clean. The front desk staff was quite helpful. Best of all was the amazingly good food in the hotel's restaurant, La Prepositura. We had dinner there on both nights because we couldn't imagine getting better food anywhere else in town, and also because we waned to try everything on the menu! Trevi is convenient to Assissi and Spoleto for day trips. On the piazza just down the hill from the hotel is a shop selling Umbrian linens at quite reasonable prices, as well as another shop selling the local olive oil (quite good). We highly recommend this hotel.

This is a little gem of a hotel, in a beautiful setting. The associated restaurant served exquisite food. The views we had from the bedroom were breathtaking, and the bedroom was very nicely decorated. We had a wonderful time here and would certainly consider returning! We recommend staying in this hotel!
