We stay 3 days in tremezzo. The hotel could be very nice : swimming pool, fitness area, jacuzzi, .... but the hotel was old and not well cleaning. The noise between the rooms wasn't acceptable. It's a pitty, because it's pretty house !

Staying here with our family was an interesting experience. This has surely been an amazingly beautiful hotel once and the location is good. It now feels like the ambition is in free fall. The rooms are clean but heavily perfumed and a bit cramped (at least the family rooms). The A/C worked now and then (in all rooms it seemed) and the breakfast buffet is a sad story.

This hotel was much more expensive than it was worth. While we had a large balcony, we were on the first floor and there is a outdoor dining area in front of the balcony so you can't really see anything. The rooms were simple and there was not much to them. The bath/shower was strange too. The tub was not flat bottomed and so you had to sit in the tub while taking a shower. Very strange and dangerous. Both my wife and I almost fell in there. The location was good since were close to the ferry and there was a good wine bar just a few blocks away.

Great location, room had a nice view. Large complimentary breakfast, also in a room with a lake view. Easily found. The hotel interior looked a bit like a hospital, the "shower" was a tub with a wand and no holder along with no shower door so that was messy. One night our power went out in our room so we decided to go get dinner, on the way out we mentioned it since other rooms appeared to have light and we got a somewhat irritated response that they were dealing with it -- but it was fixed when we returned. "Free" parking is down the road past Villa Carlotta -- pretty much in Cadenabbia. Most travelers here appeared to be older.

First we stayed at Hotel Bazzoni for 5 nights we went for the cheapest option paid 210 euros for b + b only used the hotel as a base .Being at end of September we got a room with a lake view across the road but didnt pay extra for the view or half board add on .Other hotels would have charged 100 euros + a night . You can pay 25 ueors for the 4 course dinner but found eating out before coming back was a cheaper option .Restaurants around the centre lake are expensive comparatively .Red and white bar next to Bazzonui serves good food at not silly prices but limited menu . Arrived at night so stayed in Bergamo over night did the old city and travelled to Lake Como area at 2pm. We didnt knwo there was a Lake como express direct from orio al serio leaving at 10.30 and hour after the flight arrived in Bergamo but doesnt matter as gave us a chance to see Bergamo day 2 local little lakeside villages in centre lakes + villa barbionelli sunday being everywhere closed on west side of lake. day 4 organised trip to St Moritz and Bernina express.Same price as than doing it on your own but less hassle only 48 euros day 5 como town + market (tuesday) + funicular + villa carlotta day 6 bus day trip to Lugano + ferry and bus back. day 7/8 also travelled to Milan 3.60 euros only stayed one night and and got airport bus back to orio 8.90 euros each.Good time but only regret was we couldnt do the cooking lesson in Varenna (35 euros)if booked through your tour operator or at hotel will charge 60 euros , he was booked up mon tues and closed wednesday and we were travelling to milan on thursday so couldnt do it .But will plan it better next time.

The hotel is quite comfortable and perfectly located. The staff is very friendly and qualified. Our room window and balcony were directed to lake and we enjoyed by beautiful lake views. The only disadvantage was an absence of air condition in the room.

The hotel was nice. The rooms were a little small for the 4 star idea. But the balcony and view made up for the smaller sized area. I had to do a little hunting around the hotel to find the pool and the fitness area is in a small dark room under the pool outside. There are some smaller restaurants down the road where the food was better . Major issue was car parking. The Free area was a good bit away from the hotel and it took us about 10 minutes to walk to the car. I answered no to the return to this hotle. Not that is was bad but I would try other places
