Hotel Albergo Vittoria - Trapani

We arrived at the hotel at midnight after travelling with Ryanair from Dublin . On request we were given the location of a 'take away' . On going to our room to have our long overdue meal we were presented with a bottle of Champagne which we enjoyed immensely . The hotel is in a great location...between the new and the old parts of the city . We were given plenty of useful information and shown how to find our way with the aid of a map . We found plenty of good restaurants and enjoyed our food accompanied with reasonably priced wine .

The hotel is ideally located and easy to find. We traveled by car and there is ample free parking across the street. We were able to walk from the hotel to all areas, the funivia to Erice , the ferries to the Egadi Islands, and to the historic center. The staff is very accommodating, the rooms are spacious and very clean, and the bathrooms are large by European standards. An ample breakfast is served in a lovely dining room. Trapani is a nice city, definitely worth a visit for a day or two. We found the people to be friendly and pleasant.

Nice hotel, near to the centre of Trapani, and near to the busstation

staff very welcoming and efficient, old fashioned service. We were there during day of extreme weather and felt hotel was literally shelter from the storm. The room was spacious and clean, breakfast typical, and access to centro historico very easy on foot.

We foundHotel Vittoria an excellent 3 star hotel, the staff were very friendly and helpful. Trapani is a lovely place but is still not very tourist friendly but they are definately trying as this is still a relatively new Ryanair resort. We arrived quite late at the Hotel but we were just settling in to our room when they brought up a bottle of Asti Spumante on ice which was lovely and went down very well! The only downside was the stray dogs which I found very upsetting, but I have contacted the Italian equivalent of the RSPCA AISPA who are going out later in the year. The train service is poor and not recommended by the staff at Hotel, the buses are not much better, so if you feel brave a car is a must!

We stayed at Hotel Vittoria in April for one night in a double bedroom. The hotel is well located opposite the main square and in close reach of the station. The decor is quite dated and the rooms could do with being updated a little. The bathroom was quite small and our double bedroom was actually a twin. Breakfast was good and the front desk service was excellent with good english and a free map! I would recommend to someone looking for a short break in a central location.

Located next to all the shops and walking distance from the bus and train station. The old town is a good 10 minutes walk away. Good array of food for breakfast, but at this price point, you get what you pay for with this hotel which is quality rooms and service. Take a vist to Erice if you have time

Hotel Vittoria was excellent. It did not provide evening meals however the breakfast was excellent and there was always a little bit of variety. The waiter inthe breakfast room was polite and helpful and after getting to know him he is quite funny and has a good sense of humour. He speaks excellent german and does his best with the english language too. My favourite waiter was Beano - he was funny and helpful and told us all about his fishing trips in body language. He has his tennis racket for keeping the mossies away. And least I forget the receptionists were all excellent and couldn't do enough for us. Rosario had a beautiful smile and was always there to give a helping hand. I would say between them they make a great team. If I am in Trapani again I will stay in the Vittoria Hotel. Thank you. Lovely hotel, close to restaurants, city and beach (around the corner). We got a huge family suite and a very decent breakfast. Very good value for money.

Unfortunately, the weather was very, very hot, really overwhelming during the time we were there. Air-conditioning was inadequate, unsatisfactory.

Our stay here was excellent. Staff were helpful and friendly. The hotel is in an excellent location for visiting other sites in the area as it is 5 minutes walk from the train station and is near to the bus stops for many of the main routes in Trapani. It is also a minute away from the sea!

Very nice and modern hotel, great value. We only stayed one night to get to Trapani Airport, but managed to spend the afternoon in Erice (easy to get to by bus).

My husband and I stayed 1 night in May '08 in this lovely hotel, room, breakfast staff etc were 100%. Would highly reccomend it.

The friendly staff gave us a card which gave us free access to the internet. The breakfast buffet was very good. We could see the sea from our room. The hotel is situated about 50 meters from the boulevard and when you drive to the right you find a nice beach.
