This hotel is very good just to visit the Loire valley, is like a motel. Is central for all most “chateaux” – castles - of this valley and very cheap (was the cheapest in Tours). The room is clean, but small. The bathroom is very small. The employees are helpful. The hotel is situated in an industrial zone (Tours) in the main road. Surroundings have big commercials areas to buy food. The Hotel is far away from centre of Tours (only by car or bus). If you are young or do not wary with rooms and just want to visit the Loire Valley, this is a good hotel. I don´t know how is the breakfast or dinner.

couple with 1 child Costo beneficio.

We stayed at Chambray-les-Tours on an overnight stopover. We found the hotel easily with the directions given. We were actually travelling be motorcycle and the bike was quite safe in the car park. The fact that there wasn't restaurant facilities in the evening didn't cause a problem as there are several places in the vicinity of the hotel and ended up eating at the local 'Flunch, good meal, good value for money, just a short stroll away. In the morning the breakfast provided was very good. Would definately choose this hotel again if we are travelling that way again.

The room was in the same range order of a "basical" hotel like "Premiere classe" : same material for the bath, same m2 square area of room, noisy. Such rooms are paid 35 euros. Moreover, our room strongly suffered of humidity (smelling)

Consigliato.

The hotel is basic. It´s in an industrial area of the city. It is ok for spending a night when passing through but not for holidaying. They do have a very good and complete breakfast.

Very close to a lot of motels that I know in USA. It has a excellent relation price / quality, but it isn´t really a HOTEL. Not included in the daily, but we recommend the breakfast.

If you only need to sleep, is the place. If you want to visit the city, or stay two days, look for another place. If you don´t drive, forget it.

We stayed in a double room at the hotel, but it was tiny! We knew it was not a luxury hotel but the rooms and especially the bathroom and far too small with no storage space at all. Also The hotel is in the middle of an industrial estate, with no bars or restraunt anywher near it. It is a 15-20 Euro taxi ride away, and at least a ten if not a twenty minute drive, not 5 minutes as stated on the website!

There is no air con in the rooms and opening the window lets all the noise from the main road in. You're also not allowed to ask to watch something on the tv in reception - where the bar is, you have to take your drinks back to your room and watch the tv there which is practically on the ceiling. The receptionist is not helpful at all. The bed is very uncomfortable, with one pillow and the room stinks of stale smoke. I've stupidly stayed at this hotel 2/3 times now and will never stay there again. Go for the Brit Hotel next door! p.s. even the croissants were stale and France are supposed to be proud of their food!

The staff in the hotel was very welcoming and friendly and provided excellent advice on the surrounding areas and castles. Make sure you don't take too much luggage with you, but for a short stay of 2-3 nights we can definetely recommend this hotel.

We thought breakfast was included in the price as that was the impression we got from the web page but it was extra. However, the hotel was still good value for money. The breakfast was very good.

The price is cheap, but not as cheap once you are there and realize that you could have got something better for a similar price. The surroundings are terrible and the rooms are ridiculous in size and quality. If you don't wake up early (before 9.00) you probably won't get your room done. So, if you are not extremely short in budget, don't stay there. For people interested in getting to know the Loire Valley, I would recommend them even not to stay in Tours at all, it is the less appealing city/town in the Valley. Go to another town or move from town to town, I think it is the best way to travel around the Loire Valley.

Welcome at reception was very poor, member of staff was too intent on spending time on telephone. Breakfast was impressive but appeared to be better in terms of choice the earlier you arrived for breakfast. By 9am bread had run out and no croissaints were left.

This hotel has no personality. It's a glorified "Formula 1" with the same plastic bathroom that is barely bigger than an airplane bathroom. Also, they made us pay for both nights that we reserved, even though we were not physically able to get to Tours until the wee hours of the morning because the highway was shut down for hours due to an accident. We were told that it was Venere.com's policy to make us pay for both nights, but Venere says that isn't true. The receptionist had no personality either. We'd stay at a Formula 1 hotel before we'd stay here again.

Considering what you normally get for the price range in France, I found the Stars hotels are better and consistent and (almost) up to American standards for mid-priced hotels, which is a big compliment.

If you are travelling by car in the Loire Valley, this hotel is the best choice. It's near the main roads, out of the crowded city center and it has a big parking area. The rooms are simple and small, but have all the principal things (satellite tv included..) and are very clean. Breakfast is huge, good quality and international. The price is simply incredible, is very very low! If I should go back to Loire Valley, I would definitely choose this hotel again! Regards

Excellent choice for travellers on a budget. AMAZING price! Clean, courteous employees, location however is only OK for someone with a car (far from downtown/railway station). We had a rented car so this was not an issue.
