Hotel de Rosny - Tours

I stayed in room 101; on the first night of my stay, my neighbours (4 persons!) in room 102 arrived at 1.30 in the morning. The walls between the rooms are so thin that I could hear every word, every sound ...quite annoying!I didn't get any sleep until 4 'o clock!I told the manager about this the next morning, he just said "I should have given a good bang on the wall" Also, the (free) internet connection was on and off all the time, impossible to work from my hotel room. No mini-bar in the room, no extra blanket ... For 80 euro per night I found this totally unacceptable; at breakfast you don't even get a proper plate...just a plastic tray. Disappointing experience altogether

The hotel de rosny was very charming. The manager spoke very little english and we spoke very little french, but every thing was fine. He was very friendly and helpful. The hotel and room were very clean and quiet. The bed was comfy and the TV had a lot of channels. We were on the top floor and there was not an elevator, so getting our heavy luggage to our room was challenging. The hotel was very close to the train station which was an added plus!

Chambre et salle de bains exigües.

VERY small room - booked a triple room - ended up with a double bed with a single bed which hung from the wall on top of the double bed and had to take a ladder with about eight rungs to get up to it! I am sure that bathroom was one that was removed from a recreational RV -very, very small and no shower space at all - no air conditioner so had to leave window open all night - very busy street below with lots of noise at night - no elevator and very narrow dark stairs to 3rd floor

Owner speaks NO english which is not a good start. Otherwise room clean good secure parking . Tours is a dump and very noisy at night. Try to stay elsewhere

The boss could not say english. I think the price includes breakfast it turned out it didnt. We pay around 7Euro extra to have some bread.

Perfect location close to station, airport bus (Ryanair flight only) and tourist office where chateaux tours leave from

Bagno piccolissimo e spazi molto ridotti. Buona posizione con negozi e ristoranti vicini.

Typical get-what-you-pay-for hotel. Basic, but spotlessly clean, comfortable but ultimately forgettable. For the price I paid, I was perfectly happy. Location a little out of the way, but very convenient for the station if you are exploring the loire valley.
