Beautiful location and setting, beautiful property. terrific road signs to guide you to property. Very nice rooms -- could use a little updating/ clean up -- but fine overall. Easy to get around Loire Valley area from Jallenges.

The room was poor, the sheets seems to be not so clean, there were webs in everywhere, the only good thing was breakfast.

What a fantastic place to stay, not only is it a wonderfully restored hotel, but the story behind it is amazing and the family is super friendly. If I had known how nice it would be, I would have stayed longer. The pool was an added surprise and refreshing treat after siteseeing all day. I will be recommending this gem to everyone.

This chateau was just perfect for us. Our kids were fascinated by the beautiful building, the wonderful grounds, and the history of the place. The hosts were unfailingly gracious and charming, helpful in every way. The place really made the trip!

We had a great experience during our stay. The only downside was that breakfast was not included in the stay, yet the chateau is a bit far from the main town to grab food.

How disappointing. Be warned, do not accept 'friendly' offer of breakfast - as it costs 39Euro with not a hot peice of toast or egg in sight. Not family friendly - just not friendly. The rooms are strangely arranged - fridge in the bathroom, living room has beds in it and a wash basin in the living room! NO TV, NO IRON, closest washing machine 14km away. Tired, worn, thin and mis-mathced bed linen and towels. Very old soft dusty mattresses. Cheap and nasty curtains- basically unhemmed fabric which does not match or fit window frames. No access to 'common living areas' as suggested on website. Lovely maid. Manager contrived, actual owner runs away from guests. Basically they have taken a Chateau and are trying to make money off it renting the rooms, without spending anything on comfort and quality for guests which they advertise- sixteenth century service in the twenty-first. The grounds are pretty and the position handy to lovely places. How it got four stars rating we have no idea - this was not set up for guests they were an afterthought.

We loved our stay at this historic and beautiful Chateau. The staff was very welcoming and the quintuplet suite suited our family of 5 perfectly. It is well located in Vouvray near Tours. The animals and lovely garden were a plus. Only disappointment was that the heated pool was not available, but it may be too early in the season.

A fantastic experience in an amazing real "Chateau" with a real suite (5 beds) with plenty of rooms and space, great windows, service, beautiful garden and swimming-pool. At night the lightening of the castle is also incredible. My husband and me as well as our two kids enjoy every minutes we spent in this castle.

It was a beautiful stay in Chateau Jallanges. It was easy to find, because of very good signs at road. A good place to start visiting all these monumental Chateau's of Loire. A great surprise were also the different wines of Vouvray.
