Grand Hôtel Raymond IV - Toulouse

Very nice room, with extremely comfortable bedding and a complimentary tea pot. The breakfast buffet is not of highest quality (coffee machine) for the price, but is ok.

I gave a lower rating to spaciousness of room because being an American, I am used to more room. I am aware that this is a cultural difference so probably doen't have any bearing on your side. That's just a difference between Europe and the US.

This hotel is close to the train station and the major sites to visit in Toulouse.

Personnel trés acceuillant. les chambres sont claires et bien équipées. En plein centre ville de Toulouse, pas vraiment besoin de prendre les transports en commun. La navette Aéroport est à deux rues de l'hôtel. la gare SNCF est toute proche (à pied).

The hotel was a typical old French hotel. Bathrooms probably haven't been refurbisshed in 60 years. Max rate of €180 was very overpriced; half that amount would have been expensive for the type of hotel.

Breakfast quite poor. Cleanliness was not very good. The hotel needs some serious redecorating and updating. Too expensive for what you get. Very convenient location, near the metro station.

Very noisy room. Impossible to setup hot water in the bathroom's shower. The three stars are not in line with the standard.

For the 27th there has been a problem for me with the reachability of the hotel -so i phoned them before 18:00. on the 28th the hotel was overbooked and i've been told, there wouldn'nt be a room for me... at least i got one. i wonder why they sent an invoice for the 'american express' -card of my company (has been used for booking), while i paid directly at the hotel with my own 'visa' -card ...?

The price of the garage is not included in the indicated price (10€ per night). The garage is small and difficult to park big cars. The hotel is less than 10 mn walking distance to the Capitole place.

It's a verry nice place with a good price/quality and located close to the center of Toulouse.

The most important point which could be improved concerns the car park. It is small and it is most of the time full . Sometimes it can be difficult to reach the place where the car is .

Although the hotel is in a good location for the downtown area, it is generally not good value for money. While the reception area was well presented and the staff courteous, the room offered was VERY dated (ie: 1960's decor) and shabby. There was a lot of noise in the corridor in the morning as the House Maids cleaned rooms nearby. It was not good value for money compared to a similar standard hotel we have stayed at previously in Toulouse, which is only one block away.

The place was very silent and the breackfast was good in quality and in quantity.

Probably among the better value hotels in Toulouse in the three-star category.

The Hotel was lovely so were the staff. It was a shame about the rest of france as they were so arogant didn't want to help learn any french very stroppy with me won't be going back to toulouse
