Staff very friendly and helpful. Location right opposite railway station. 5-10 minute walk to city centre. Rooms simple but clean, comfortable and good value for money. Bakery and supermarket just around corner on side street. Ideal hotel if you just want a comfortable, secure room to lay your head down at night. Would stay here again.

The rooms at the Hotel D'Orsay are much smaller than the photos suggest. The hotel is a little run down, but the bathroom (again, much smaller than the photos suggest) and beds are clean. Room was very quiet, even facing the street (the selection says facing the canal, but the canal is in between two streets and runs in front of the train station). The night service (we arrived late) was not particularly welcoming, but the woman at the desk the next morning was much more helpful. The breakfast area is very nice, and looks out on a lovely garden. Breakfast is good and worth the money, especially given the surrounding area (where finding breakfast would be a doubtful proposition) The hotel is super close the to the train station, and accessible from the airport via public transportation and a short walk. Not a hotel to spend many days in Toulouse (it's a bit of a walk to the city center and historic district), but good for an over-nighter if en route by train to another destination.

The free wifi is only available in the foyer so it is not very convenient. This is one of the cleanest hotels in which we have stayed.

A value for money hotel in a convenient location for train travellers. Gated on-site parking (15 euro per day=good value)is a bonus due to limited street parking and good for less mobile guests.Helpful staff and the hotel is recommended.

friendly ,helpful pleasant and relaxed. across the road from rail station. Did not have breakfast. Very comfy bed. I would stay again for a short stay. For 4 or more days I would look for closer to the centre but it would cost more. I have no complaints about it.

This was one of the better 2 star hotels I have seen in Europe. It is right next to the train station, hence also close to the Metro, but is not in the historic center of Toulouse. The stuff was very friendly and accommodating.

I really like this hotel in Toulouse. We stay there every time we pass by Toulouse. Price is very reasonable for its location and quality. The hotel is extremely close to the train station. Staffs are very friendly. Room is clean, and quiet despite its location next to main road and train station. Have stayed there three times already.. Will stay there again next time.

We made a trip from Netherlands to Spain with the car. So, we relaxed in a quiet and clean room. It has small rooms, it's true, but for 2 persons it is excellent. If I travel again in this area I am thinking to choose again this location.

The location of the hotel is very good for travellers, being only about 2-3 minutes walk from the main railway station (Matabiau). If you're flying into Toulouse airport (Blagnac) you can take the airport shuttle to Matabiau. The shuttle stops across the bridge from Matabiau so when you get off the shuttle just turn and walk in the direction the bus came from for about 100 metres, cross the road, and you're at the hotel. It's not in the city centre, which may be an issue for some, but it's within walking distance for most people (about 20 minutes) or just 1 or 2 stops on the Metro. Perhaps the biggest disadvantage with the location is the lack of good restaurants in the immediate area. The city centre would be a better location if this is important to you, but you'll pay much more for the hotel of course. The hotel owner was very friendly and helpful and he spoke English very well. The night staff member's English speaking skills were not so good but was sufficient not to cause any problems for me with my very basic grasp of French. My room was clean and in a good state of repair. There was plenty of space for one person or a couple. The room was very quiet, being at the back of the hotel, despite being located on a busy road. The room was air conditioned which worked very well and it was easy to get a comfortable temperature (it was quite hot when I was there). There's a nice large lawn and garden out the back of the hotel. There's no seating or sun umbrella but there a plenty of large trees to provide shade and it's a nice place to go to sit on the grass, relax, read a book, etc. I only stayed one night and had to leave early the next morning so can't comment on the breakfast. I did walk through the breakfast room however and noticed a few different breakfast cereals and presumably there would be the standard baguettes, croissants, butter, jam, etc. I would stay at this hotel again and would be happy to recommend it to others.

In a very dangerous part of town, loaded with prostitutes, drug dealers and drug addicts. Lots hang around the parking lot entrance. It is not a safe district. I was accosted by one drugged up woman.

Hotel was fabulous!!!! Excellent and helpful staff. Very clean rooms. Able to purchase water and soft drinks in lobby. Great location. La Maison de la Violette is across the street from the hotel. Definitely worth a stop! The owner sells violet based and themed items, many handmade. Toulouse is "the city of violets." La Maison de la Violette is located in a purple barge.

Hotel staff were most helpful and friendly. Rooms are okay considering the price. The only thing I did not like is the cigarette smell. I don't like staying in a room that has been occupied by a smoker.

The D'orsay is part of the Campanile chain which we have found more than acceptable. This is considering that european hotels have a long way to come before they reach the average N.American chain hotel. This includes N.American chain hotels in Europe! We are originally from Britain and have travelled worldwide extensively, both Corporate & personal. The staff were very courteous and helpful. When people are treated with repect then the treatment is reciprocated.i.e. you get what you give; some fellow travellers we encountered were rude, impatient, with attitude and ignorant of other cultures and should have stayed home!

Convinient location to find (opposite the Railway Station where you can get any rental cars and shuttle to Airpirt every 20 min), within the walking distance to the city centre, all shops and restaurants. Rooms are clean but very small. No breakfast included in the price, should pay 7.50 EUR for it as well as 7.00 EUR for the car park for 1 night. In my opinion, price 58 EUR ( double room) is a bit dear.

Well - its right next to the station and you cannot miss it. Hotel was clean, tidy and basic. Could have had a proper shower rather than a hand held one, but we were there for a football match and it was just a bed really. If you are there a few days fine, but any longer and i think you would be thinking i wish i had spent a bit more on a hotel. But we paid around 40.00 GBP per night which in the context of our trip was very reasonable and i its just a 1/2 night base your after well its fine

The hotel was no frills but clean and the reception staff were helpful and welcoming. It is in easy walking distance of the old town and our garden view room was quiet even though the hotel was on the main road. It seemed to be on the edge of the red light area which made our walking to the old town interesting but in no way threatening.

This is the first time that i stayed in this hotel. The hotel just located near the train station and very easy to find. It's super worth to have the air condition double room by such low price in this hotel and the nice reception staff is capable to commicate in english. but the bath room should have a better ventilation and the bath area is better to have a bath curtain for preventing the water comes out.
