Hotel Marina Tossa - Tossa de Mar

The reservation did not indicate the check-in time. We arrived at 1 pm and we ad to wait 1 hour to get the room. The receptionists were not very professional, they kept saying the room would be ready in 5 min and that they "thought" it was ready. I had to go up to the room myself and ask the housekeeper and then come downstairs to finally get the key. The room is ok, it's not very well maintained and has no air conditioning, which we did not know. It has a nice balcony though.

Great place to stay, has great instalations, it`s quiet at night. Great for families. The breakfast is very good. And friendliness in all the staff. Just 5 mins walk from downtown.

El hotel está muy bien. La verdad que por el precio me esperaba otra cosa peor pero nos sorprendió gratamente. Las habitaciones son espaciosas y limpias y la zona de la piscina está genial. El presonal fue muy amable y servicial.El hotel no está en el centro de Tossa pero está tan solo a unos minutos caminando, es un paseo agradable. Se que volveré a Tossa porque me encantó y sin duda repetiré en el Hotel Marina de Tossa.Sin duda os recomiendo el hotel!!!

We stayed in Hotel Marina Tossa for eight days. Everything was ok (the location not too far away from the city centr, the swimming pool, lift, bar) except the food, especially at dinner. They cooked for a week the same things (forzen fish, chips, gazpacho); only once they prepared a wonderful paella. Besides sliced salami at breakfast was not very good (we think they used to buy it in a discount market near the hotel). In spite of this we recommend this hotel for the excellent relationship price/quality.

Room small, no conditioned air, too much small bathroom to stay some days, good location.

1 km from the beach, on the map it was situaded 100 meters away. Staff thought we had got the room too cheap, so they were pleased to tell us that we were not allowed to use hotel parking area. Very noisy conkret building with slamming doors all the time.Ecco, ecco, ecco...

Rispetto a quello che può offrire un hotel ad una stella non si può certo chiedere di più! Pulito, gli spazi comuni molto ampi e confortevoli.. una bellissima piscina, campi da tennis e tanti altri servizi! Il personale dell'albergo era davvero disponibile e dotato di grande simpatia!! Siamo stati particolarmente colpiti dal fatto che nel prezzo fosse compresa anche la colazione! La stanza dove ci trovavamo era piccola ma molto accogliente e pulita In cinque minuti a piedi si arriva al centro del paese che noi abbiamo trovato incantevole e quindi alla spiaggia: bellissima!!.. Ne vale davvero la pena!!

hotel sympa. Bon accueil, parking fermé surveille par une camera (non inclus dans le prix, prévoir 7 euros) agréable piscine d'eau douce. Par contre chambre à confort sommaire : nous avons eu droit a 2 petits lits (de camps?!) totalement inconfortables alors que nous avions demande un grand lit

We loved this relaxed hotel and its helpful task. We turned up a day late, but everyone was very understanding and didn't charge us. The pool, teenis courts and other activities were excellent, and above all the whole atmosphere was very relaxed. Though not particularly near the beach, it's still only 10 minutes' walk away. Brilliant value

Too much Noise

Prezzo ottimo in parallelo ad un ottima accoglienza e comodità mi ha lasciato molto contento della scelta. Unica nota non troppo positiva la cucina,ma è nello standard spagnolo..

dès notre arrivée la réceptionniste nous a, d'un sourire, irradiait de sa bonne humeur catalane. La piscine est superbe et non chlorée (merci pour les yeux!). Les transats à disposition pour ceux qui veulent se faire toaster. Le buffet libre service est bien garni et de bonne facture (moins grasse les frites quand même...) et seul petit regret: le vin et l'eau minérale ne sont pas compris dans la demi-pension. Un très bon souvenir en tout cas!

Many very good features especially friendliness of staff, Swimming pool, Bar, Dining arrangements and room cleanliness. We would have liked a kettle in our room to make tea / coffee and more infomation describing the menus at evening meal i.e. short descriptions of what we were eating from the various plates etc. However it was very good. Overall an excellent stay.

Everything was fine!!

The hotel and rooms were clean and very spartan. The noise level was not acceptable. The staff was very nice,nice pool, expensive parking for the area.
