It sounds like a magic spell and perhaps it is. Its the old name for Arbatax, in Sardinia, set along the eastern coast which is an island intact within the Island. Its an Arab word and means the fourteenth tower, the fourteenth of those towers which stood sentinel along the coast to check Saracen invasions. Its the magic word which will bring you to an island of coddling, relaxation and old-style hospitality. Its the name of our hotel, elegant and secluded, just like a large villa.

How to reach Hotel Arbatasar

By Bus: Along Highway 125 with shuttlebus from the Hotel. From Olbia in two hours, from Cagliari in two hours. Convenient transfers with local buses.

By Ferry: Tirrenia Ferries Genova-Arbatax and return, Civitavecchia-Arbatax and return, trips three times a week. Tirrenia high speed ferries Fiumicino-Arbatax andreturn, runs twice a week in the summer season.

By Plane: Daily flights from all the main European cities landing in Olbia and Cagliari airports. Charter flights to Tortolì airport, 500 meters from Arbatax. Some carriers: Air Dolomiti, Azzurra Air, Tyrolean Airways and Air Engadina.
