A very good hotel in a lovely rural location, dominated by apple orchards. It has a surprisingly good, clean swimming pool. The outstanding feature is the restaurant where the menu is varied and imagineative. The food is beautifully cooked and also very competitively priced. The hotel, overall, is very good value, even if the tap water has a uniquely unpleasant taste!

It was a very nice surprise. We read the comments about the hotel before our stage and they were right. The room was spacious, splendid toilet, with jacuzzi included. Unfortunely the quality of the water was poor. The restaurant is a good choice for having a good dinner with fish dishes. Excellent breakfast. The hotel is only few meters away from a very interesting beach. We will come back.

Hotel well located in north of Costa Brava area(Cadaques, Figueras, Gerona, Palamos). Excellent welcome (in french) of the proprietor. Good quality of dishs in the restaurant, efficient/pleasant service and very good price/quality. Generous breakfast. Location not easy to find

You'll be pleasantly surprised by the Picasso, not least because it has a good sized swimming pool - not mentioned on the hotel web site or in the photos. Also the air-con is very efficient and amazingly quiet. It's a really quiet hotel. The walk to the beach takes about 5 minutes. It's a 5+km drive back to the main road. But it's a very pretty route.

The restaurant Ter Mar near by is excellent for fish. We like the surrounding and the quieteness. It is possible to visite famous citys as Barcelaona or Figueres. The historical background and the architecture is very exciting.If you are interested in sport you got many different possibilities

Do not be fooled by the outside appearance which needs some attention. The inside has been fully refurbished to a very high standard and is delightful. Would have appreciated better instuctions to find the hotel!

This was the second time we have stayed at Picasso, it is still a lovely place to stay and get away from it all. Still not really child friendly because no others to play with. So great for child free couples. The outside of the property could do with a lick of paint to match the great inside. We'll be back next year!!!

Picasso ist eine echte gute Überraschung.Die Lage ist zwar nicht berauschend,aber die Zimmer sind sehr schön eingerichtet , sehr sauber und das Personal ist sehr freunddlich.Besonders hervorzuheben ist das Restaurant :Ausgezeichnetes Essen, saubere Umgebung und freundliches Personal.

The Picasso is in a countryside location quite close to a wild and breathtaking beach. Whilst we found this location wonderful, it was hard to find on a wild and windy night in December and some people might find it too remote from the town.It was well worth the effort, but I suggest that if you are considering booking the Picasso make sure you have the transport situation sorted out, ideally your own means of transport. If so. you will also be able to explore further afield along this wild and rugged coastline.

We loved the Picasso it was all we hoped it would be. The rooms were all clean and well presented with TV air con etc. The hotel was well staffed with welcoming and friendly people. Obviously family run it was a haven of peace in this mad fast world. I wanted to keep it a secret but I owe it to the owners to say just how good it is. Please if you visit don't spoil it. We will definitely return. ( Not a place for families with young children or teenagers looking for entertainment.) The restaurant is excellent!

We enjoyed our stay at the Picasso Hotel. We have stayed in the locality at El Delfine Verde for anumber of years and had enjoyed eating in the Picasso Restaurant on a number of occasions where the food is excellent. The Rooms are top quality and we would stay there again. The only criticisism that I would have is that we booked for 2 adults and 2 children in two rooms, I had tried on the Web site for a single Family Room for 4 but it did not give me the option. Although if it was the same price per person then I would have opted for the two rooms. When we arrived we were surprised that one of our rooms could accomadate 4 people with two regular bed's and two very comfortable fold down 3 foot bunk beds. So if you have two small children and would like them to be in your room you may have to ring the Hotel and ask them for this room (101). The other comment that I would have is that the Car Park would need to be cleaned up and the outside of the Hotel would need to be Painted, eventhough the renevation work is ongoing. One of my friends commented that if you had seen the place for the first time you might consider turning back, but the opposite is the case and the old saying "never judge a book by it's cover" springs to mind as the outside and inside are totally different. So overall an excellent place to stay and I would recommend it to my friends.

the hotel is in the process of being renovated, this made the stay uncomfortable. we only stayed the one night and checked out. i will say that the restaurant was 1st class. and may be when it is completly refurbished we will try there again.
