A very welcoming and great value hotel. As the name would suggest just a short walk to the train station. I was there over the weekend when unfortunately there was no food available in the hotel. Although I'm sure it was because it was November and very quiet. There is however an excellent take away pizza place just a couple of minutes walk away, was full of locals and the pizza was fantastic. The owners opened up the bar for me on Saturday night so I could have a few beers and learn a bit of Italian to keep me out of trouble. They also provided me with all the train times for the journey to Perugia. Overall a good stopping point on your travels.

The hotel offers a quality of service and attention far in excess of many hotels charging over 3 times the price! It is a real tribute to the power of a family to deliver business excellence. The hotel has a Tuscan menu and serves good local food but there are also plently of alternative places to eat in this historic tourist area. Although I speak only English every consideration was given to me. I will certainly use the hotel again.
