Hotel La Luna Blanca - Torremolinos

The service was, above and beyond, amazing! They give you breakfast options between a traditional Spanish breakfast (pastries, eggs, bread, yogurt, coffee, tea, juice) and a traditional Japanese breakfast (fish, rice, Japanese tortilla, miso soup, tea). Both are amazing! The beach is a 10 minute walk down a gentle slope through calm city streets. Cleanliness is outstanding and the air-conditioning works very well!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at La Luna Blanca. It was quiet yet within walking distance of everything. The staff were courteous and helpful especially the receptionist.I would highly recommend it to all our friends. We hope to go back to stay there again.Just writing this review makes me want to go back now!

Exceptional stay. Recommend to anybody. The hotel is 3-stars but I award it close to 4-stars. Owners are friendly and helpful and ensure your stay is unforgettable. About 5 minutes away from the beach. Great breakfast. If we return to Costa del Sol, definitely we go back to La Luna Blanca.

We took a taxi from the airport which we recommend because the hotel may be a bit hard to find at first, but once you get your bearngs it is easy. Hotel is very clean and light and owners are very helpful. Hotel pool was a joy to swim in every day as it was so warm and clean. Only ten minutes walk to the beach but a bit of a climb on the return journey. Trains and buses are so easy and both within walking distance. Breakfast was very good except sausages were very very tiny. Overall a very pleasant hotel and we will book this hotel when we return to Costa del Sol.

Este hotel es muchio mejor que dos estrellas!! Ha sido una muy grata sorpresa. El servicio es impecable, limpieza total, tiene actividades como cursos de cocina japonesa, jacuzzi en la terraza, servicio de comida japonesa en las habitaciones... Como estaba lleno, nos tocó la suite japonesa, y es espectacular! Tuvimos la ocasión de ver otras habitaciones y también estaban muy bien. Este hotel debería tener 3 estrellas por lo menos. Eso sí, algo lejos de la playa...

This was such a great experience! The staff was more than nice. It should be quoted as a 4 star hotel. Very nice, spacious, comfortable and clean rooms. Everything one can possibly need. I would definitely go there again and I'll surely recommend it to anyone willing to spend some time in Torremolinos. Congratulations to the owners!

Our stay was just perfect: the owners were very kind, the rooms absolutely clean, the breakfast everyday different and delicious. We highly recommend this hotel. It was even better than expected!

Excellent and very helpful staff, rooms spacious and modern. Quiet central air conditioning with controls in room. My room was noisy in the afternoon when I was there, but quiet at night. This was probably a temporary situation due to construction. The staff was extremely helpful and spoke excellent English. They gave excellent directions and suggestions as to places to eat, and also called a taxi from the hotel to the airport, pickup at 5 am. The hotel is about 5 minutes walk from the beach. A couple suggestions for people who have never been there. - Taxi drivers from the airport are probably not familiar with the hotel location, as it is only about 5 years old and one of the smaller hotels. A printed out map to give to the taxi driver is essential (I neglected to print out a map before I went there, and the taxi driver had no idea where the hotel was). The map on the back of the hotel card works well, if you can pick one up when you are there. Just the address is not good enough as the hotel is on a small "passaje". - Expect to pay from 15 to 25 euros for the ride from Malaga airport. There was no taxi meter on the cabs I had.

The hotel and its service was excellent. Location in a nice neighbourhod with beatiful villas. Actually the 2 stars could be changed to 4 (but is the hotel too small?)

A very nice and friendly hotel. Great breakfast incl. in price. Perfect room with balcony and also individual airconditioning. Breakfast at the poolside and soft (classical and Japanese) music in the background.A ten minutes walk to the seaside. A very good start to spend some nights here because it is hard to find a so cosy and quiet hotel in Costa del Sol.

This review is the only way to reward the service provided by the hotel. I stayed there 7 days or 8 nights, I feel knowledgeable enough to place a remark. The hotel is very nice. The pictures show exactly what you'll be getting. One thing that me and my girlfriend really loved is that is really quiet and realxed. The AC, the internet and the tv work great. They offer both wireless and wired, I would advise wired. The staff is very cordial. They are japenese ladies. I really think they run the entire place because they are always there. The pool is pretty cool too. Torremolinos is only 10-15 min in the bus from Malaga, and the hotel is only 5 min from torremolinos center. The hotel is 8 min walk from the beach. The neiborhood is pretty relax in the evening for a walk. One thing I really like about the hotel is that they really understand our need, some big hotel in the area see so much people that you are only seen as a credit number, but these ladies will take care of you. Breakfast is served in the morning. It is not big but enough to get you started. Make sure you get the orange juice: "Sumo de naranga por favor" I was there from june 25 to july 1 2007. I had some doubts too before my vacation. I kinda know how you feel. OK, one more thing. On my last night I received a suprise token of appreciation from the staff. If you get make sure you put a review too. We are a young couple in our 20s from America. Have nice vacation. enjoy! By the way my room had a garden with it.
